Chevron Station

This station just charged my credit card $ 101 for a $ 25 charge – they do a pre-​authorization and charge it to the card and then «reverse» it at some point. I’ve never seen such an egregious prepayment. Go somewhere else where the stations don’t do this.

Gonna plan ahead so I don’t have to get gas here again. Nice big location with lots of pumps which is always appreciated here in the city, but stopped in here last night and had to run the gauntlet to get gas. Aggressive guy came up and started trying to wash my windows, followed by three different people walking up to my car and asking for money. After I told them no, one walked off quietly, one called me an a-​hole, and the third just hovered around my car. There were at least four other colorful characters loitering around the lot, but not a single visible employee. Never been so happy to finish pumping my gas. Shady, dangerous feeling place, won’t be back.

I’m not a picky gas customer, and this place has dealt with the unpleasant characters that bother the staff and the customers for a long time in order to provide convenient access to gas for the neighborhood.
The cherry on top, tough, is their free tire air and water, which is so much better than putting their customers through the hassle of looking for change!

Me and my father went to the food mart to buy cigarettes
My father can’t speak english so i was talking to the cashier about the cigarette that my father needed,
Then another cashier jumped on the register and ask me for my id! Im 21 and I’m not smoking so i told her its for my father and he can’t speak english so i have to help him! And she said since u don’t give me your id we can’t give u the cigarettes! My father was there and he tried to speak english but the women was very rude!!! Since my father was there and he asked for the cigarette they had to give it to us, but they didn’t

Across from AsiaSF we found this Chevron station and went in to grab a cold drink since we were really early for the dinner/​show across the street. As we walked up, the security guard was breaking up a scuffle between what appeared to be two of the men who clean windshields for tips.
I never really like when people walk up to my car and want to interact with it, but I would like it much less if they are hollering at one another. Luckily, security was serious and he stopped the fight really quickly.
There is a Burger King attached to the Chevron mart, and there were a lot of well-​lit pumps outside. The mart was big too and had lots of snacks and drink choices. Felt pretty safe with security on patrol — walked around the block afterward and found lots of interesting businesses nearby, including a motorcycle repair and a luxury hat maker.

I am really just reviewing this place because not that many gas stations in SF have car washes and it is super convenient. The car wash is relatively new, cheap, and works well… what else can you ask for? I would avoid this place in the evenings, but frankly I’d avoid fueling up in SF at all in the evenings unless you absolutely have to.

Avoid this Chevron unless you want to be accosted by several homeless people demanding money.
This evening I was yelled at because I asked the drug addict who decided to grab my gas pump handle as I was filling my car, to let go of it.
This place is dangerous. I will go ANYWHERE else before I ever go back here.

I would rather go to any other station than this one. I just don’t feel like getting stabbed.
I use chevron gas but I am not going back unless I’m on the verge of running out!
RIZALINA is one of the worst workers there. I finally wrote her name down because she was so insulting, on multiple occasions.
But ALL of the WORKERS are SUPER RUDE, not to mention slow. The lines are always long and meanwhile you get hit up by at least 3 crackheads. I’ve witnessed fights and arrests many times at this location. In the day time it is not as bad but the service is still terrible. The workers act like you are a bother.
It’s pretty bad when you have to Unilocal about a gas station.

No one is around, PASED out in the back asleep or just not around… ALWays Monday nights at or around 3:30 to 4 in the am… And San Fransico gas really doesn’t get you that far coming from San Jose…

If there is one place in San Francisco you will be afraid for your life it is here.
There is a 97% chance you will be harassed for money while pumping gas and the flashlight cop doesn’t care. Watch your back. I was buying gas here but got sick fearing for my safety so I’ve taken business elsewhere.
Please lock you car as soon as you get out even if you are just walking over to the pump three feet away.

Chevron has a large area for fueling up. large and clean mart space. just saw the cashier on duty.

This gas station is filled with very aggressive pan handlers, which make it an unpleasant place to full up your car.

Can’t go wrong with an $ 8 car wash. Not fancy, quick, and straight forward– exactly was a gas station car wash should be.

Busy with lots of traffic from the ASIA SF limo drivers on Fri and Sat. Can be ghetto at times, but convenient location.

I always fill up here at this particular gas station. It’s in a pretty convenient area. Keep in mind, when you fill up here, you will almost always be approached by beggars or random people trying to wash your windshield, and in many of my cases, without even asking. I guess it all just comes with the territory. Gotta love SOMA!

***Okay spot in a busy part of SF to get some gas; convenience store is a decent size and it is attached to a Burger King; restrooms were a little rundown but were equipped with very new hand dryers***

15 minutes till 7:45 and I come in having just realized I forgot to buy my lotto ticket.
Hey, this was the 319 mill jackpot people… I was at least going to try my luck.
So I get in line, and then spend five minutes waiting for the cashier behind the counter to finish chatting with someone on the phone. He doesn’t even try to multitask the register, doesn’t even bat an eye at the now 6 people in line watching him take his sweet time.
I think… maybe it’s his girlfriend, maybe it’s his mother. But no… the person he’s so chummy with like he’s known them forever is the lotto company because the machine is down… which he tells us after he’s finally hung up and rung up the guy in front of me.
Seriously?

Here at this Chevron in the SOMA area of SF, there is the good, and the bad.
The good:
— SF doesn’t have many service stations, so this can be a Godsend when the little pump lights on your dash.
— There are 10 gas pumps, so room for many, which in SF, is good
— Burger King, Starbucks and Andretti Speedmart all here in one location!
— Wow! Get your gas, Whopper, caramel Macchiato 99 degree quadruple shot heavy whipped something or other, and a Slim JIm and 5 Hour Energy drink all in one stop!
The Bad:
— It’s the city. Pay 10 –15 cents more per gallon of gas
— They have toilets, but they are PAY TOILETS!
— WTF?
— No Sh*t!!!
— You better have a QUARTER!
— (If not, join the other winos around the back bushes)
