I’ll start off by saying that the food here is legit. I got the grilled cheese with garlic fries. I would’ve given more stars if it wasn’t for the bad service I got on my first visit here. All I wanted was a quick, delicious lunch to treat myself for the busy week I’ve had at work. So I ordered for myself & two coworkers a simple order of 2 grilled cheese sandwiches with no tomatoes, 2 orders of garlic fries & one cook for pick up. When I called to order I was first put on hold for literally 5 mins. I had to hang up because I was still on the clock. I called back & placed my order, which I thought was easy enough. When my coworker went to pick it up, I somehow had FOUR sandwiches on my order. Fine, take the other two off my order that I didn’t ask her. BUT instead of just taking it off the order, the host threw away the order & put it at the bottom of the order list. So basically, my coworker spent her whole hour lunch waiting for our food to be ready. When she got back to the office, she realized that no coke was put in the order, but it was charged. So she called to ask for a refund since it wasn’t her card. The same host that messed up the order told her«well I’m new & I don’t know how to do that. Plus, it’s only $ 2 so it should be ok.» Um, YOU do not get to tell ME that a $ 2 charge on my card is «ok» because you messed up. She continues to ask my coworker to go back to the restaurant after work to get it all sorted out BUT to come after 4 so that someone else can handle it since she won’t be there anymore. How inconvenient is that request?! She already spent her whole hour lunch waiting for the food that wasn’t right TWICE. Oh & not only that, a tip was automatically added to my card after all this. AWESOME. I decided to call & speak with someone after 4& whoever helped me was very nice & patient. Too bad I didn’t notice the $ 4 tip before I had called or I would have asked for a refund on that too.

CnS has become my official neighborhood watering hole. I guess you could say I’m a semi-regular, but not trivia night regular. The level of douchery from the clientele is incredibly low here, which makes for a great spot to beer drinking and relaxing. There’s always something new on tap, which is great for a spaz such as myself. The food can be pretty tasty, but the kitchen closes too early for my tastes. Yes, I’m the guy that wants something to eat at 2300 hours. One cool feature of the menu is that you can add pork to anything for $ 3. My dream is to one day order a churro and add pork to it. Shoot for the stars and you might end up hitting the moon, which is something I always tell myself. Let’s not forget about the barkeeps and staff: They’re good people. I hope it stays that way for a long time. Cheers!

Great beers, excellent sandwiches from a hole in the wall local spot. My favorite was the Cubano, but all the sandwiches are top notch. Get lots of napkins — you’ll need them. Worth visiting if you’re in the area!

3.75 A friend and I came here on a Wednesday to grab beer and food. The place is small with indoor and outdoor seating. Not impressed by him trying to pay for our meal. Not impressed by his quick ninja hands that caught a fly. Not impressed by the Spicy beef sandwich as the bread was tough to bite through and the spice came from two huge slices of jalapeño. Not impressed by the bacon gravy fries. I’m sure its a crowd favorite but I like my fries dry. Never let the guy make the decision when it comes to fries. Not impressed that at one point, there was at least 10 people waiting to be served by one person behind the bar. It took a while for my friend to get his drink but its nice to have a few minutes alone to check your phone, use the restroom, or pass gas… can you guess which one I did? Yeah, heh, that one. Was impressed by the bacon butter crunch. It looks like a regular grilled cheese but take a bite and let your eyes take a trip through this delicious sandwich. There’s tomatoes, ooey gooey cheese, and what looks like shredded pork? Was impressed that they have Ginger Beer. It’s my favorite beer although this was non-alcoholic so I’m not sure if that counts as beer but whatevs, i like it.

This place is awesome. They have GREAT beer and really good sandwiches. I don’t have any complaints but if I did have one, I would say that they need a ventilation system. My hair and clothes smell like the food/grill immediately.

SERVICE: I find it hard to comment on service considering most of the time I order to-go. However, I did have the privilege of eating there recently and I have to say, I did enjoy the service. The guy who took my order also served me. His shaggy hair and beard was initially off-putting but he turned out to be very friendly! FOOD: Mojo Pork is da bomb. Gravy fries is da heart-attack, but also worth it. So were the garlic fries, and the tater tots. Don’t judge me. Their menu is small so I hope to try everything at least once eventually. I recently gave their pulled pork tacos a try. Super tasty but a little too much heat for me. I think there are jalapenos crushed and mixed into the guacamole I added. I have no complaints about the flavors. The pork is always moist and tender but if it’s your first time visiting, I would definitely go with the Mojo Pork since it’s not covered in too many strong spices or sauces and thus allows you to really appreciate the meat! ATMOSPHERE: Very dive bar-esque on most days. This place is located in a residential area so I’m assuming most customers are locals and regulars. Events are hosted here from time to time including trivia nights and contests with beer as the prize! Also as a side note, you can check out the little place next door for some bomb ass wings. How do I know they’re good, you ask? I’m taking an educated guess since I’ve never had them myself. HA! But there’s always a line out the door and I’ve seen the wings glisten with saucy goodness in passing before.

This place is absurdly good. Every single thing I’ve eaten there is amazing. The staff are super nice. The bacon butter crunch is so so so so good. Make sure to add guacamole though. The mozzarella sticks are also bomb. The ambiance is super laid back and the space is small. Probably the best hangover food in existence.

What a hidden gem in the neighborhood! Ended up here after seeing that they have one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches in the city. I ended up with the BBQ Chomp, and my sister had the bacon butter grilled cheese and a beer. We split an order of their bacon gravy fries. The fries were 5 stars– I know this will become a regular haunt for us to grab a beer and an order of these fries. The gravy was flavorful and balanced, not too fatty and not peppery, floury, or funky the way some other places are. She liked the grilled cheese portion of her sandwich, but ended up scraping off the bacon butter. She said it was somewhat fatty and just not what she was expecting. The BBQ Chomp was pretty good. There was a LOT of meat, and the sandwich kind of just fell apart. The slaw was good– not the best, but not the worst. Overall, I ended up pulling out half of the meat, and finished the sandwich. Overall, the food gets(not fries) gets 3 stars. I would try other items on the menu before going back to those items, and it seems like a lot of the food is a little fatty(which is complimented by the beer!) The person working was really nice, and I look forward to going back. Try the fries!

I went here after a late evening stroll and stumbled upon their spicy beef sandwich and sweet potato tarot tots. Both looked promising but it made have to run to the bathroom shortly afterwards. I don’t think it was the tots, I’m sure it was the beef, likely old. Taste wasn’t bad but made my stomach bad.

Amazing little hidden gem! Found this place when looking for new places in the ‘hood that are dog friendly. It’s not quite hole in the wall but not quite a dive. More like a cozy little restaurant /bar with an awesome shortlist of craft beer and a beachy vibe. Plus points for showing the SEC football games. Owner is super chill and friendly as well, and they have trivia too! I’ll be back.

Legit bar food and you can’t beat the price. We had the Chomp dog, sweet potato tots, Chomp pork tacos, and a Ginger Beer to finish it off. Happy to have Chomp N’ Swig in the neighborhood!

Saturday morning I came here for the gravy bacon fries, stayed for the bottomless mimosas. They were a bit crowded, so my food took a bit, but the drink was ready right away. I was given my fries before my sandwich was ready which was nice. The server/bartender asked if I was from the neighborhood and when I said I was visiting gave me some recommendations for places to check out while I was in town if I liked beer. Great atmosphere, they do trivia nights every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, and have some boardgames to play. Would come back!

The food was amazing, I had the BBQ chomp, so good if you’re a slaw person. Not the best slaw I’ve had but it was good enough. The pork was delicious. Nice spice kick, flavor was on point. Improve the slaw flavor and I’d find this a must have item. The down side for me is the ordering process. I had to go to the counter and talk between someone’s conversation, felt rude of me but that was the way it’s done. Seating was odd as well. We would have liked the bar stools near the TV but with only 2 other guys sitting there we’d block their view. So we ended up, voluntarily to be polite, against the window. That table would have been great but the table is so high set and the chair so low. I felt shorter than usual. Kind of worked out when my sandwich came and my plate was close enough to catch the falling pork. In the end, I’d come back for the food and try some of the beers available.

This place is pretty good! I got the spicy bbq beef sandwich. It was really good but I would prefer if they added a bit more bbq sauce on it. The jalapeños and sour team in the sandwich were pretty bomb though. My friend got the bbq chomp and it was really good too. It was filled with pulled pork & slaw. We also got a side of gravy bacon fries. They’re portioned pretty small but very savory. If you like a lot of gravy then these are for you because they are smothered with it. The location is pretty stuffy but there is outdoor seating also. This is also a small bar and they have a few beers on tap! TU!

Tasty sandwiches, decent beer selection, excellent service. Bacon butter grilled cheese is on point. Would be nice with a side of bacon to drive home the flavors. Would 100% recommend getting the guac. I had a bite of the spicy beef, I must say I got major order fomo, will be back to get this. The bearded man wrapped up our a+ dining experience with funny jokes and top notch customer service. One might call it love. Good atmosphere. Board games available. Outside seating is a plus. Go here.

This quaint little place has good food and good brews! We were starving and looking for a quick bite to eat and Lou’s Sandwich was too busy and this place was just around the corner. We ordered the BBQ Chomp, spicy beef, tacos, and the bacon gravy fries. YUM. Everything tasted great and arrived promptly. The fries were awesome! Cheesy, full of gravy, but still nice a crispy. The tacos were chocked full of carnitas. They have indoor seating, 2 outdoor tables, and a doggie bowl for water. It’s not gourmet, but if you’re looking for a quite and are near, it’s a good place to go.

Cute little bar in the Inner Richmond District. It’s small but very cozy… with trivia nights! I still need to check those out. As for the food, my favorite thing on the menu is the Chomp Dog, which has a Louisiana hot link stuffed with white cheddar and wrapped in bacon. On top, there is cherry chili pepper, chomp slaw, and sriracha aioli. DELICIOUS! I also tried some of my friend’s food. He got the Spicy Beef sandwich ANDBBQ Chomp because one sandwich was apparently not enough to fulfill his appetite. Both of them tasted the same. They were meh. We could not resist the Eben Fries, which has cheese, pork, and guacamole. Despite how good it sounds, they were only okay. So were the garlic fries. Typical tasting bar food for somewhere that I expected would be a little higher quality. Also, relatively short beer list but as long as there is a good IPA on the menu, hey I’m not complaining. There is Happy Hour Monday through Friday from 3pm to 7pm. Great go-to if you live in the area.

This place is very small and is also a bar. Had the bacon crunch here and was amazed at how yummy it was. Come here if you don’t mind being jammed into a super small space and don’t mind chowing down and yummy /greasy foods.

Sandwiches: I came here to sample their sandwiches and they are out of most of their meats. I’d say ok so they were busy, but it seemed pretty slow. Who runs out of their main ingredient 4 hours before they close? No pulled pork! Well that knocked 4 choices off of the menu. Either a spicy beef or grilled cheese were my options. I went for the the spicy beef. The Spicy Beef just tasted like boiled beef. The sandwich was oily and lacking flavor. The sandwich tasted like a boiled beef banh mi(3.5) Bacon Gravy Fries: Bacon Gravy Fries!!! How can you go wrong? It was less than a handful of fries; some were soggy and others very crispy.(3.0) Beer: They were also out of several beers on tap. 8 raps pouring only 4 beers. Service: The bartender/waiter was a cool guy and quick to serve. They had a «bus boy» that sat at the end of the counter and would get up and go around the counter to pour himself half of a beer at a time from the tap. Judgement: I wanted to give this place a shot because the sandwiches and sides all sounded so good. I may give it one more shot hoping it was just an off night.(3.5 overall)

Great little sandwich place. I have tried the chomp dog and it was excellent. It was spicy, meaty, and it has bacon. Moho pork sandwich was also tasty. I would come back to try other sandwiches.

Situation — Early lunch on a Saturday(around 11:30 am) — Ordered the($ 8) Moho Pork Sandwich [slow cooked pork shoulder, cilantro, jalapeño, red onion served on french roll] and a root beer on tap Pros — Helpful staff — The sandwich was quite large and tasty — Good selection of craft beer Cons — They seemed to be out of non-alcoholic beverages like ginger beer and root beer in a bottle
