Go here for the crêpe only! I made a mistake and got the acai bowl and it was really plain. Thank goodness my boyfriend got the strawberry crêpe w/ice cream. The crêpe is huge and crispy! Prob one of the best crêpe I’ve ate.

This place is SOCUTE! Such a great find considering how close my office is and because it’s a little off the normal path it didn’t have the crazy lines like a lot of the other restaurants do. I had a savory crêpe with avocado, hummus, turkey and lettuce. I LOVED it and the cute cone was the best. I can’t wait to go back and try more.

Ok wow. I got the gelato crêpe cone with butter pecan and omgggg the gelato was unbelievable — sweet but not too sweet and with this delightful grainy texture. Crêpe was perfect too, just the right mixture of crisp and soft. And the cone was so perfectly wrapped — I’m typically a very messy eater but no spills at all! And it was only $ 4.5, which is what I pay for JUST gelato at a lot of places. In conclusion I am overcome with emotion.

Hands down my favorite crêpe place! The service is great and they are immensely friendly, and the crepes itself are super delicious. Very fresh fruit, not too much cream or nutella that is overpowering, and the crêpe skin otself wasnt too thick or floury. It was thin and crispy and a perfect combination to make the crêpe light and sweet. We didnt have a cance to taste the savory ones, but my overall impresson from the sweet crêpe we got(mixed fruit and nutella) was on point. The crepes here are delicious, cheap, and way worth the price. It’s a steal if you use the 20% off coupon Unilocal offers when you check in!!!

This place was really cute and there hours are very limited so I was happy I was able to try this place. You first walk in and you notice how clean and modernly designed everything was. Service was okay, but like for $ 5 I got the strawberry and Nutella crêpe. It was simple, but the crêpe pancake is what stood out to me. The recipe was for their crêpe was different and it was not bland but had some nice sweetness and texture to it. I really enjoyed what I had that day. They also make it fresh right in front of you so it was still warm when I ate it. They also put a good amount of strawberry and Nutella to fill you up and the the ingredients had all good ratios in comparison to each other. I’d definitely come back and try some of their other crepes.

I am a fan of sweets and crêpe cone definitely made me happy. The way they serve crepes is very special. When I saw the name of the place I imagined it would be regular crepes served on a plate with fillings inside. But the name of the place itself gave me a hint on how they serve their crepes: like a cone. I got their green tea gelato crêpe. I watched them make the crêpe from scratch. They took a scoop of gelato and wrapped the crêpe around it and made it look like an ice cream cone and served it to me in a card container. When I took the first bite, I was surprised by the fact they made the crêpe crispy rather than soft, it felt exactly like an ice cream cone where the cone is warm. It felt nice having cold gelato with a fresh warm cone. I definitely enjoyed this new style of crepes and will go back again!

Neat little crêpe place in an area that has no other food options other than a Starbucks(and a random Thai bar). good place to grab some ice cream or light meal. There’s also 4 outdoor chairs and an outdoor bench for soaking in some sun. I recommend getting the breakfast crepes because who doesn’t like eating egg and ham in a crêpe.

Its cheap. With loads of choices and options. I love adding on stuff and the shop is really adorable. One crêpe may not do the trick if you are hungry… So perhaps add more stuff!

Pretty disappointed to find out I’ve been overcharged for the combo special about 5 times to date. The sign above the register states $ 2.50 to make any crêpe a combo, but the associates say that deal is no longer available. So it’s actually $ 4 to make a combo with chips and a fountain drink. Get rid of the sign.

What a awesome little spot tucked away in a industrial district of SF. For those that work in the area, this is quite a treat. You get crepes, both savory and sweet, or you can just get gelato by itself. They also make italian sodas. The Gelato is great, they have a lot of unique flavors to choose from and the prices aren’t outrageous. The crepes seemed good as well, haven’t had one yet but I’ll be back. It’s small and clean. Great spot for a snack!

Unfortunately, unsatisfied. When I read the name, Crêpe Cone, I was under the impression this was a crêpe in a cone shape. That is not true, it is a hybrid of the two. So what you get is the look of a crêpe, but the chewy hard consistency of an icecream cone. Because it is hard, you have the filling kind of oozing out at you through the top of the cone while you eat it, a very messy and unpleasant process. I cannot speak to their level of service because I ordered through the caviar app and had it delivered. Very timely, but the food was cold. Which leads me to believe the crepecones are premade and simply assembled upon order. How unfortunate. If they are made on the spot, maybe mine just sat too long and got cold? I had a savory crêpe and a sweet one, so I definitely tried both ends of the spectrum. I have had wonderful fluffy crepes from the street vendors in Paris and have to say this disappoints terribly, and should not be called a crêpe at all.

As far as crêpe cone’s go, I can’t say that I’ve ever had better. I went with nutella, strawberry and vanilla ice cream and it was awesome. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because for the roughly $ 7 I paid, I could have gotten a 3 scoop at bi-rite and definitely a gotta have it at cold stone. Aside from that, everything else was awesome. Service was friendly and I’m sure we will definitely be back!

They’ve always had excellent quality crepes… but their savory filling never did it for me. But they recently added Reuben or Meatball crepes with mozzarella! Yum! Finally a great filling to go along with the crispy crepes. It’s like melty cheese pizza on the world’s thinnest crust. Every time I get one, I’m happy so for consistency and happiness, 5 stars. Their dessert crepes aren’t my favorite though: Too much filling, too little crêpe and the ice cream makes them a little soggy. But ordering a dessert crêpe with minimal fillings hits the spot, but not quite as well as a French style dessert crêpe.

Pretty good lunch options. I usually get two crepes, one meat for lunch and one veg for a snack later. Have yet to try a dessert crêpe, but if their savory ones are pretty good, I wouldn’t expect any less from the sweet noms. Once you’re done ordering, scoot to the other side to watch them make it. This location is sooo very clean, the staff is patient and helpful(so much to choose from!). Had a lick of the gelato, yum. Be back for more crepes and a smoothie.

I love this location better than the J-Town location for several reasons: 1) They have a rewards program with the 5-Star app which I don’t think the J-Town location has. With this app, I get coupon offers pretty often. I’ve gotten discounts on my orders as well as free drinks and gelato! 2) Wait time is dramatically less at this location. 3) Cleanliness! This place is clean not just because it’s a new establishment. You can just tell they’re just doing a good job at maintaining the place and keeping it spotless. The quality of their crepes are comparable if not better than J-Town’s location. My manager and I are obsessed with the Tuna Melt crêpe. We can’t seem to deviate onto any other flavors because it’s just that good… creamy tuna salad with the perfect amount of cheddar melted onto a crisp yet soft crêpe. The classic Strawberry & Nutella crêpe is on point. Their green smooth is also delicious but FILLING – good enough to be a meal on its own.

After my mom’s massage at Suchada Herbal Spa, we popped into Crêpe Cone to revitalize our system with fresh green juice. All that healthy kale, celery, green apple and lemon was of course balanced with a decadent strawberry-banana-nutella crêpe. Very fresh fruit layered nicely in a cone so you can eat it on the go. Just be patient because there’s only one guy making the crepes AND the juice! It’s still a much shorter wait than at its crazy counterpart in Japantown.

Went here for the first time today. I saw a few months back while at sophies they were opening a second location but never had a chance to try it. Today was the perfect opportunity since Japantown was flooded due to the ramen festival. I ordered a strawberry and nutella with a scoop of green tea nutella. Instead of putting the gelato inside, they gave me the gelato separately and charged me more. I’ll let that go as a miscommunication but at sophies that would never happen. As far as the crêpe goes, its just as good as sophies which is by far the best I’ve had.

At last no more trips to Japan town for a delicious Sophies Crêpe! The new-ish kids on the block in Soma are from the owners of Sophie’s. Parking: There is metered parking surrounding the immediate neighborhood. With Zynga and Adobe it might be hard to find parking, but if you venture towards the potrero hill /16th street you will find unmetered reasonably timed parking. Options: Sweet AND savory Crepes. I’ve always been such a huge fan of Sophie’s sweet crepes. The menu is a bit different from Japantown with how it is laid out, but you can replicate things. For instance, the Japanese special is not on this menu. One of my favorite crepes is: Green Tea Ice Cream(Gelato here) + matcha sauce + redbean = yum! It’s about a $ 6.50 crêpe though. Feels a little more expensive than Japan town. The crêpe is delicious, huge, and true to the Sophie’s Japan town taste! They have a large offering of gelato ranging to your regular chocolate vanilla to more exotic like black sesame. They only have one type of ice cream: vanilla. Perks: Minimal line [in the middle of the day ~2pm] and they take credit cards! They also have a point card system, for each $ 5 you spend you earn 1 point and you can stack up eventually for a free crêpe. Much easier access than Japan town. The hours are pretty limited. I do hope that they change their hours to accommodate the post dinner dessert crowd. I definitely will come back!
