This is a food van. I got a crêpe with sausage and cheese. Basically they threw some precooked sausages and cheese onto the crêpe. The problem is it was dripping with the liquid from the sausage. This is way too soggy compare to the genuine thing in France. Therefore 2 stars.

Really like their crepes, getting one right now in fact. Quick and convenient, and the quality is very good.

I had the chicken with mushrooms crêpe and i loved it. It’s freshly made to order, so the waiting line is a little long especially during lunch hours. So rush a little early to get ahead of the line.

It’s my first time here. I got the number 9 which consisted of turkey, crème fraîche, Carmelized onions, cheese. I subbed turkey for egg. I asked the girl if the egg was the consistency of an egg salad sandwich where it’s mashed. She said, «yeah something like that. They spread it around on the crêpe is what she said so I assumed it was like the egg spread. When I get my crêpe I looked inside and didn’t see egg or my tomato that I added. I went back up to her to make sure and she said it was there. Get back to work and start biting into it. Still no tomato or egg. Finally when I’m in the middle of my crêpe, I decided to cut into it with a knife and fork. I found the egg all the way towards the bottom of the crêpe. It was more like a flat egg that was wrapped in there. The white yolk still looked runny and still no tomato. I wanted to go back there to give it back and show them, but didn’t want to waste my time. It’s not too far from my work but also not worth my effort. So much for my 15% tip. The tomato was only $.50 to add, but still! $ 10.43 for a crêpe I barely finished and now, I feel sick to my stomach. I don’t think I’ll be back here again. I’ll take my crêpe money over to Genki crepes instead on clement. Waaaaay better quality. Too bad. Thought I was going to have a new favorite.

What a pleasant surprise to turn the corner and come upon a mobile creperie! I enjoyed my strawberry jam crêpe and couldn’t have been happier to find this place. Excited to try something savory next time!

First time there. I asked what they were most famous for and he recommended 3 options. I went with one of «the most popular choices»: the sausage with emmental cheese and caramelized onions. Sounds great right? Yeah well I got not one but several pieces of plastic in my crêpe. Yuck! Not to mention that it was tasteless… I had to throw half of it away! And it wasn’t cheap… it cost just under $ 9! Too bad. I was really looking forward to finding my crêpe spot.

A cute little food truck parked at Howard and 2nd. It’s perfect for the afternoon sweet or savory snack.

Fresh crepes… get your fresh crepes here! Whenever I take a work trip to SF I usually vacillate my lunch choices between super healthy kale-like salads to heart-attack inducing Chinese type eats. So, when Creperie Saint Germain offered an in between, I was pretty jazzed. I took my lunch party across the street to the crêpe mobile, we ordered up and waited patiently for our surely delicious crepes to be created. I went with the #10 which features loads of veggies(I recall caramelized onions, spinach, and sun dried tomatoes) with cheese all folded into a perfect buckwheat crêpe. It was the best I could do to imitate a healthy-ish lunch without making a full salad commitment. The crêpe was filling and delicious(and maybe, just maybe a bit nutritious) and thus Creperie Saint Germain now sits in my top five quick lunch spots when I visit our HQ in SF.

I go to the food truck by 2nd St. and Howard for a quick lunch. I love their #12 Braised Beef with all the other yummy ingredients like avocado, fried garlic, jalapeño, tomato, green onions, Swiss cheese*. It was a beautiful, bold experience for my taste buds. Very(ful)filling lunch. I also had their #9 Smoked Turkey(Sauteed Mushrooms, Caramelized Onions, Crème Fraiche, Cheddar Cheese*), but it didn’t excite my taste buds. I shouldn’t compare its flavor to that of the Braised Beef because the Smoked Turkey fell flat in terms of character. A friend chided me about it. The whole ensemble’s flavor should be mute given that it’s turkey. I’ll stick with my #12, thank you. Unfortunately, their #20 chocolat, brownie chunks avec la crème chantilly was a disappointment. Elle m’a deçue! I needed my chocolate fix, and I ordered this to satisfy my craving for chantilly(j’adore). The entire piece was dry, not just because of the crumbly brownie chunks, but because they forgot to include the chantilly. :(My chantilly! Ruined my day. I’ll most likely continue going to Creperie St Germain and try their other savory crepes. I mean, #12 keeps me coming back anyway. *ingredients listed are taken from their website menu:

Amazing savory and sweet crêpes batter. I am French and a crêpe snob. I decides to just try this place since it was on my way to the hotel I was staying at. The crêpe were cooked just the way they are supposed to. I had the banana, almond, caramel. It was the right amount of sweet. The nutella, banana and strawberry #21 is their most raved one. My friend had it and was enjoying every bites. Hope that this business will expand and be successful!!! It is a good hole in a wall place. Their ratatouille savory crêpe waa yummy too.

I love cheese, egg, avocado and tomato in any form(breakfast sandwich, scramble, etc) and crepes are a delightful carrier, too. I do bring people here for lunch, but I find it hit or miss on the quick service side. Lunch rushes happen in this neighborhood, and sometimes they’re prepared… And sometimes they really aren’t. To be fair, they’re honest when it’s going to take a while and crepes are hard to scale for quick service, but still. Not my first choice if I’m in a hurry. The food’s good– likely not a 100% authentic Parisian street food experience, but a solid lunch stop when it’s not crazy.

I’ve always like crepes and this is a nice location close to my office! I tried their savory crêpe(#6 pork sausage) and it’s amazing. Will definitely go back and try their sweet ones next time. I went at 12:30pm and it took me about 25 – 30 mins to order and get my crêpe. Docking off one star because of the wait time but otherwise would be 5 star.

Service was OK; nothing special. I got a bacon egg and cheese crêpe this morning. It was hot fresh and tasted great. Unfortunately, it was my first experience with food poisoning. I’m almost embarrassed to admit how horrid the defection was that followed this afternoon. Maybe it’s just an outlier, but I won’t be buying half-ass service crepes from trucks anymore. I’ve never felt this sick from eating food. To the management — please please please make sure your employees are following food safety procedures so this does not happen to anyone of your other customers. Also — your«gluten free» options are a joke. You use the same grills, utensils, and gloves for all of the batters, resulting in gluten contamination. I’m not a celiac myself, but I know my friend who is would not be pleased nor feel comfortable eating at your establishment.

It was fine, I guess. I had a gluten-free crêpe with cheese, egg, and ham. I heard them use a microwave, yet my cheese wasn’t even melted… The egg was pretty much missing, and the ham was inside, in big chunks. I don’t think I’d go back, but it was alright, I suppose.

I’ve been on the hunt for the best food trucks in SoMa and this is one of them. It’s close to work, decently priced, and makes a wonderful breakfast or mid-afternoon treat. I’ve noticed the best crepes are served in the morning, so I usually go on my way to work. The buckwheat crêpe batter is also gluten-free(and smells so good!). I usually gravitate toward the sweet options, so nutella has to be included. A nutella, banana, and strawberry crêpe hits the spot every time. I’ve also heard the savory ones are great, so I’ll have to break my sweet preference next time.

I walked by this food stand and happened to also have a $ 3 Paypal deal as well, so wanted to check it out. I ordered the #1 Savory Crêpe: Béchamel Grilled Chicken with Sautéed Mushroom, Swiss cheese, Tomato, Spinach. The person there was really nice, especially when I asked if I could switch out the swiss cheese for cheddar. However, when I looked at my receipt, I realized I was charged for the cheddar switch. Overall, it seems like a fast-paced and easy to grab and go place, especially if you like crepes. They will hand out the crepes cone-style, but you can also ask them to put in a box for you like I did so you can carry it safely back to wherever it is you’re going. PROS: Easy to grab-and-go, nice people!, option to bring back in a box CONS: Charged for switch-out

Unfortunately they ran out of avocados today — so I switched my order from beef to chicken, and per usual, it was quite delectable. Other than the number 4(aka. chicken), I’ve had the eggplant, salmon and nutella. It’s a nice truck to stop by for lunch; the line isn’t usually too long and crepes are so beautiful. I have always been fascinated by the casual spinach leaves sprinkled on top of the crepes, detached from the melted cheese and other ingredients wrinkled in the thin crispy wrap. They seem so free and independent, yet are an integral part of the crêpe. Try a crêpe here and think about the free-spirited spinach leaves. It’ll make your day from just OK to quite alright.

Ummm haven’t wrote a review in a while but I’m making time since they were open after the club in I’m here shoving this crêpe into my mouth due to not wanting to waste money. So I get the powder sugar strawberry and whatever the number 22. Anywho I get it the whip cream awful SSOOO awful like it was beaten milk alone no sugar what so ever. Fresh strawberries was ok but guess their not in season because they weren’t sweet either. Powder sugar not a trace, A TRACE I say !! What happen too many customers ?? Rushing orders out ?? Ugh yass great their open after the club. Sadly I wouldn’t buy one for a dog if I had one. Sorry

THEYAREOPENTIL3:30AM on Saturday night. Just FYI. So who knew that my crêpe cravings can be satisfied after a night of clubbing. lol. Waay better than a hot dog or something. lol.(back when I used to eat meat) They are located on the corner of a parking lot, there isn’t really a sign to help locate them. It’s a small red house is how I would describe it. I ordered the Nutella Crêpe with strawberries & bananas. YUMMERS! So good! They don’t only have dessert crepes, my cousin-in-law ordered a chicken & broccoli one & it looked bomb, minus the chicken. lol.
