Always a bit of a mad house here, maybe because it’s so close to a 30 Stockton bus station.
The selection and price are comparable to others on Stockton Street. With meat, you can get a slightly better price by buying either a whole piece, two pieces of a pound or more. For me, it’s not worth the savings but for someone shopping for a large family — it can add up.
It’s a challenge getting in and out since the aisle is narrow and it’s shared by shoppers and those trying to get through.

I thought this store goes by the English name «Shunfar» but I guess that’s not how it’s listed.
Anyway, this is good place to pick up some produce or fruit at reasonable prices. I like stopping here for bananas if I’m out Herr for dinner and the store hasn’t closed. The lines can get long and when it foes it can be disorganized due to its setup. With long lines come these darn old Chinese ladies who wants to cut instead of you. One tried to do so recently and I had to tell her off. In another line I saw one guy did better by raising his elbow and shoving that old lady back. :)
