We’ve bought some really good grapes here at a reasonable price, well everything is reasonable in Chinatown.
What I like about this place, the man who mans the fruits is nice and always good with samples. The lady at the other end of the store mans the vegetable is also very friendly. One time I wanted 10 lbs of their ong choi and she grabbed the perfect portion — exactly 10 lbs!
The lady behind the counter, she may be the owner, is also very nice. I bought the preserved duck gizzards from here — they have it at the counter. She asked if I was using it for congee or soup, I told her soup and she picked the large ones for me.
Like all other grocery/​produce stores, this store is tightly packed with a little bit of everything — canned food, condiments, frozen seafood, instant noodles… etc.
