Very good«hole in the wall» deli. Their fresh squeezed OJ was great. It was $ 4 but it was really large and they fresh squeeze the OJ to order. Their sandwiches were around $ 5. I was worried they wold be too big but it was kinda squished so it was just enough food. I ordered he turkey, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. I was trying to be healthy but I now regret it because the food was just ok. I think the sausage sandwich would have had a lot better flavor. Their doughnut holes were wonderful. Very fresh, soft and fluffy. Not too sweet but delicious. Also very reasonably priced. There were only two small tables on the sidewalk so it’s better to grab and go. I would recommend.

Typing while eating!!! So good and price friendly. $ 7 for a breakfast sandwich, banana, and coffee seems super reasonable to me. It is just a little joint… 2 people working, 2 tables on the sidewalk. This does mean slower service and some unclear ordering/picking up lines. But that is what I expect when walking up to a place like this. I got through the line, ordered and had my food within 10 minutes. What a great way to start my day!

Quick and simple service. Poor your own coffee. Well worth it cash only. Cheap and delicious pastries.. . I’ll never forget that apple fritter. It left me wanting more. I chow down on this poor Peet’s fritter. It is without joy. It can’t fill the hole that Daniel’s fritter made. I think it senses that it is not satisfying. I don’t care. I just wonder whether I’ll ever enjoy an apple fritter again. Better to have loved and lost they say. I don’t know.

I had a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese and my husband had two donuts. We also got a Snapple, the total was $ 7 — very reasonable! And it was delicious!!! The donuts were some of the best I’ve ever had. Would definitely go again!

I arrived in SF for a bootcamp. Because I was 30 minutes early, I thought I might pick up breakfast and coffee. So, how did I arrive 15 minutes late to my event(and get booted)? I am so glad you asked. I ordered an eggs and cheese crescent(and it was good) along with a cappuccino(which was not very good). I felt like I was waiting for just over 20 minutes. I was extremely frustrated. In fairness, I could have walked away when it became clear that they cannot serve quickly. I did not walk away and this is on me. Shame. On the other hand, this place does not serve within a reasonable amount of time. They lack the infrastructure to accommodate demand. I could not have known this when I first approached. They should be held accountable for this. I would understand it if this place had a «this is how we roll; take it or leave it.» That would be acceptable provided this policy were written where all who approach could see it. This was not the case, however. I do hope that others will not find themselves in my situation.

Delicious breakfast sandwich(egg, cheese, ham on bagel) for five dollars and change. Located right across from my hotel(though across the corner from where it is placed on the Unilocal map which was not helpful in the pouring rain). Hopefully they’ll have bacon available tomorrow, but nonetheless I plan to start my day here all week while in San Francisco.

Daniel’s offers a pretty good cheese, egg & croissant that satisfies a hungry traveller or worker! I wish I could get Daniel’s croissant more often… unfortunately it takes at least 20 minutes from placing the order to leaving with your order in hand. Daniel’s also uses American cheese and charges for any extras(avocado, croissant instead of bread, etc…). It’s a bit nickel and dime-ing, even though it’s a little hidden off of Union Square. Also, I don’t appreciate how uncomfortable waiting for your order is: the line to order v. the line to receive is really not clear and people are always stepping around saying«excuse me.» Try somewhere else if you’re looking for a quick pre-breakfast treat, unless you have an extra 25 minutes to spare!

What an absolute gem Daniel’s Café is. From the fast and friendly service to the top notch menu and quality, my trip to Daniel’s was a morning highlight of my recent San Francisco visit. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? No more than a little nook with two tables and chairs outside, Daniel’s Café isn’t anything fancy, but their warm service will have you feeling as though you’re in the poshest of brunch spots. The concept is a simple one, and while the menu is expansive, you can either be in and out quickly or spend part of the morning depending on what you’re after. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? As I see it, the simplicity of a breakfast sandwich is such that no single menu item should ever really fall outside of the $ 5 boundary. Daniel’s walks this line perfectly, and my Turkey, Egg, and Cheese breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel came in at only $ 4.75. The rest of the menu was priced accordingly, cementing Daniel’s as a hot spot for value in the city. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? It’s hard to mess up a simple breakfast sandwich, but it’s arguably as difficult to really knock it out of the park. With it’s perfectly cooked blend of turkey, egg, and cheese on a rock solid everything bagel, Daniel’s breakfast sandwich hit the spot. Single Star Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? A great atmosphere with great service, a broad menu, and a good product. Yes. Star Granted.

Their cakes are delicious I’ve ordered different ones for different reasons, always the same outcome: happy eaters. They even have gluten free which all enjoyed! When I’m not buying for others I get their avocado turkey bacon sandwich with a cup of tomato soup. Highly recommended. Source?: I get it all the time!

I found this café on Unilocal since I was staying at the Hilton on o’farell. It’s a small place. No seats inside, two small tables with two chairs each outside in the pavement. Did I say it was a small place? I walked right past it and had to double back to find it. Prices have gone up so it is no longer $ rating. A croissant and coffee is about $ 8. Food though was good. The sausage patties I had were fried there and then so it can be slow getting your food. The croissant was also fresh and tasted like those from Costco. I am happy with my choice that morning.

Their buttermilk donuts are amazing! So sad I only got one this morning! The staff is very nice and food is fairly cheap. It’s a small shop so don’t plan on finding a place to sit and eat.

Looking for a breakfast that you’re in and out and get a good amount for your dollar? Look no further. This place definitely does it, and it did it for me. I ordered a simple sausage egg and cheese croissant, took it and ate it on top of a rooftop park. It was the perfect way to start off my birthday. I was thinking that I was going to try to hit some rooftop parks and just chill for a while on them while soaking in the sunlight and the light breeze reading my kindle and reflecting on my life thus far. I found this spot on Unilocal, and well it didn’t steer me wrong.(Even though it did on a couple of bars I was headed afterwards.) It wasn’t quite as quick, because there was a line, but the wait wasn’t that long either. I definitely recommend to come here if you want something on the go or have a quick meal.

So, so good! Fresh, delicious, and convenient! The club is a perfect balance of all the ingredients and is toasted to perfection. A wonderful option if you’re on the go or just want something casual and simple :)

Daniel’s Café is a hole in the wall café with great breakfast options and consistent friendly service. My favorite to order is the sausage, egg and cheese croissant(for a whopping $ 6.00) — prices for the sandwiches are a reason I docked one star. Everything else is moderately priced from the coffee to the pastries. Their sister café is located in Daly City(top of the hill on Mission x Hillcrest Drive) and the sell the same items at both locations. The service can go a bit slow since there are normally just 1 – 2 workers there, especially when the lines get a little out of hand so don’t go here thinking your breakfast sandwich will be ready in 2 seconds. The demand is high! Tips: CA$H ONLY, and you do have the option to call in advance and pick up — if you decide to do this, make sure to be clear and concise with your order. Overall, great place for an on-the-go breakfast!

This place is a little gem that is the definition of a hole in the wall — located right on the corner of tourist and sketchy as Ellis Street meets Cyril Magnin. If that intersection didn’t sound appealing — the food here will sure change your mind, and at a super reasonable price. My advice is that whatever sandwich you take — put it in a croissant! Yeah, even that bagel, turn it into a croissant for an extra dollar! Croissants do run out by 2 or 3PM though and sometimes even earlier on weekends, thanks to amazing breakfast sandwiches being served all day. Daniel’s is also a great coffee spot, especially if the Starbucks up the street is overtaken by a long, long line of tourists. Dropping a star because the place is cash only, and the homeless in the area sure know it as they approach you throughout your meal if you choose to take one of the 4 seats outside. Take your food and run — run as fast as you can.

Breakfast sandwiches hit the spot! They’re really hot, dripping with cheese and the bacon is extra crispy. Try the bacon egg and cheese bagel and a latte.

Overall: Really small mom-and-pop type café with some really good breakfast sandwiches. Tip: Bring cash — it is cash only. Food: I came here for the good breakfast sandwich reviews and it did not disappoint. Egg and cheese(4 choices of American, Swiss, Pepper Jack and Provolone) on croissant(can also get bagel or toast for cheaper). There are meat options as well for the meat-eaters. I was happy to see that the egg was cooked properly and not in a microwave or as a premade patty. The croissant was perfectly toasted and was not greasy at all with a slight crunch. $ 3.50 plus tax made it a solid deal.

Vier Stühle, zwei Tische, Personal das kaum des englischen mächtig ist, man sitzt direkt an der Straße und es ist ziemlich laut. Warum also vier Sterne?
