Very bad place. Went there last night. The food taste like they have been cooked a year before and they just heat it up. Very high price on dim sum. And force to charge service fee(15 percent) will never come back again and be aware of this restaurant

Great, delicious food for the good price. My parents and I love Chinese cuisine and we were happy to visit this place and eat here. Especially, we loved Shanghai Steamed Pork Dumplings, Bok Choy and Fried Rice. The service was quite good, fast, treated us amicably and fast. I recommend you to try dumplings, they were similar I tried in Hong Kong restaurants.

Tried their dim sum and their seafood pan fried noodles. It was average, and their pan fried noodles was enough for one person.

*****Make sure not to over tip! This restaurant is sooo shady!!! They automatically add a 15% tip onto your bill*****. Food is average & overpriced. Dim Sum pieces are extremely small.

Great location away from the crowded Chinatown. Nice & clean. Finding parking in its surrounding area isn’t such a big deal. Few steps away from Union Square and the famous shopping area. Food is OK. Friendly staff. Prices are definitely competitive compared its other neighbors.

Coming to the city last night every place was pretty packed so we decided to try this Chinese restaurant. The wasn’t a regular chinese restaurant this place serves up dim sum even at night which i thought was pretty odd. Be warned if you’ve never been to a dim sum place where you pick your dim sum from the cart instead of ordering it through paper you will be overwhelmed. The food itself was just okay but extremely pricey for such small portions. Most of the dim sum we’ve got was room temperature and their regular menu items competes with the likes of panda express which is not saying much.

Wish I could leave a negative star! The service was horrible, gave us wrong order and made us pay for it? They were very rude about it and argued that we should have told our waitress and not have eaten it, we did tell her twice and were rudely ignored, and it was dumpling so u don’t know whats inside untill u eat it! The food was also mediocre. The chow mein had mostly onions It is a rip off — tourist trap! Don’t go there! U have been warned!

Our food was great as well as the service! My spinach dim sum and pepper fish were great and my wife loved her shrimp.

Very sketchy place. I was there on Sunday evening and was served by a bitter waitress. Just a bit after leaving the place my credit card got high jacked with someone shopping gift cards from Michael kors, Mac etc and following up with my bank sounds like this was the source. I would be very cautions using credit card in this place!!!

This place is the worst restaurant I have ever been. Me and my mom both had very bad stomachache. The food is not clean. They also charge me service fee even there are only me and my mom were eating. 你们骗小费,用坏食物,耍小聪明,破态度,丢国人的脸,你们这种人怎么没被人打死!赶紧关门去农村养猪吧!

Way overpriced. Small portions. Taste is just, okay. Bland service. Check your receipt before you leave, they add in the tip without your permission. Reminds me of a Chinese restaurant’s version of a denny’s

Walked in at 9:30, waitress said, «you’re taking to go» your sign says 10:30 and there’s still quite a bit of people in the place, after arguing to seat me and my friend, we literally ate crap. This is the brothel of food. Do not come here. The staff is rude, shuffled us out, if I could cuss on this rating i would.

For that price, for that bad service, I wouldn’t come here again! When we came in, we were shown the table near the door, which I didn’t like and asked for another place(only 5−10% of restaurant was sitted). The receptionist/waiter staired at me like I did something wrong. Later, we ordered wudon with beef, fish fried(appetizer), broccoli and peking duck. The food’s taste was OK. They are cheaters, total cheaters. How can a whole Peking duck will be a small 12 pieces? Are you out of your mind? I have been in Beijing for 5 years, and I know how big it should be, also tried Peking Duck in Berkeley, the same story as it was in Beijing. Also, they are charging service/tip fee into the check, and want you to write some more on the invoice/check. Because they have tip section 2nd time. This place is bad. Now I understand why people tend not to go here, why this place has 2.5 stars. I would have given 0 stars, but I can’t.

Came here for dim sum since theres that mooncake festival in Chinatown and its going to be all sorts of crazy getting a table anywhere. My parents, SO, and I went here just so my dim sum deprived SO can get some dim sum. It was a good experience except that for 90% of the time we were the only patrons. We ordered a bunch of dim sums– no meat balls or the popular shrimp noodle wraps. Sad. How can you be a dim sum restaurant and not have some of the most popular items? We ordered a bunch of other dim sums and a won ton mein. Most of the dim sum items we ordered were pretty good. The noodles in the won ton soup were bad and even though the won tons itself was good there were only two! Overall, it came out to be around hundred dollars for 4 which is a bit pricey. Not sure if we will come back.

They’re not going to win any culinary awards, but this is the Chinese food you want– especially when everything is closed on Market St after 8:00pm. You should have the right expectations when you come here. This is not a high end restaurant; however, this is a classic American Chinese restaurant with fast service and good food. A cart with appetizers will be displayed before your table, which will be made fresh to order. We ordered an appetizer of beef dumplings(3) which we enjoyed. For entrees we had chicken lo mein and spicy beef and mushroom with white rice. They were great! Good portions and family style. *Get the chrysanthemum tea! It’s decaffeinated so it’s good with dinner.

Ugh! I made the typical stupid tourist mistake. This place was close to my hotel, it was late, I was hungry and too tired to walk any further than across the street so I tricked myself into thinking that this place must be alright since it was pretty busy. Big mistake! The food was so disappointing. The dishes were overpriced. The dim sum was tiny and no better than something you can pick up in the frozen food aisle. The noodle dishes were oily and just blah. I also had to sit next to a gross man who had food stuck in his teeth so he and his girlfriend spent a considerable amount of time flossing his teeth at the table and then examining everything that came out of his mouth! P. S. They include a 15% «service charge» on the bill. Don’t make the same mistake as us by not noticing until it’s too late and then double tipping.

If you want decent, authentic Chinese food, you may want to avoid this place at all cost. This place is manly for tourists who have no previous experience with real Chinese cuisine; or those who cannot experiment food beyond beef with broccoli, sesame chicken, orange chicken, and general tso chicken — none of which, by the way, exists outside of North America. If you made it out to SF, do yourself a favor and check out more legit places. Go down the alleys in Chinatown and don’t overanalyze the service. Disgrace.

I came in for dinner with a couple friends on Saturday, April 18th. We ordered a round of different steamed dumplings which all came out at the same time. We went through all 6 bowls and decided to order a couple more which were our favorites. As the waiter was picking up the wooden bowls we noticed something drop out of the last one he picked up. My friends and all yelled out«what the hell is THAT!?» at the same time which prompted the waiter to look back. It was a COCKROACH! The waiter cooly took out a napkin, wiped it of the table, and walked away silently. He ignored the entire thing and charged us for the full meal — not that I would want any type of credit or plan to come back, but at least some kind of apology or something would’ve been in order. Needless to say, we just wanted to get the hell out so we asked for the check, paid and ran out.

Food was good especially the beef with string bean; prepared hot, fresh off the wok. However, portions are smaller compared to the price although it is good for 2 persons. As for the dimsum, I’ve had better ones. The seaweed crusted tofu was greasy but tastes good and good portion, same with the egg roll. Dimsum variety is very little. Ambience was nice, not a typical Chinese restaurant setting(and smell); well lit and clean. Prompt service. Servers are courteous. 15% gratuity was already added on our bill and if you pay with your card, the card receipt has the«gratuity» line and if you don’t pay attention you would add tip again. They didn’t give the itemized receipt back — we’re thinking so you don’t get reminded that you already tipped them… hmmm, a little deceiving.
