Every time I’ve ever had to purchase flowers for a friend or coworker in the neighborhood, I’m always pleased with the friendly service and beautiful arrangements from Divisadero Florists. Recently, My sweet mother-​in-​law from NJ sent my husband and I a gorgeous bouquet on our anniversary and it was delivered to our doorstep with care. The Lilies smell amazing in our apartment. I highly recommend this wonderful local shop!

Very bad customer service. I was rudely interrupted by an employee on the phone before I could finish my sentence. I understand they are busy but being rude, especially to a customer, is unacceptable.

I used this florist to deliver flowers to my friend who just had a baby at the nearby Kaiser hospital. Honestly I felt like I had just hung up the phone with the florist and my friend was texting me about how beautiful the flowers were. I saw a photo and it was a very lovely arrangement. If you are looking to get flowers for someone at the Kaiser hospital, I highly recommend this florist.

Solid place. Reasonable prices. Knowledgable, super friendly each time I go. Great place to swoop in before heading out to get some flowers arranged for a special someone. They’re really nice, I know nothing about flowers except buying them. And they would be the last people to treat you against this. They have lots of different flowers all the time, and lots you might not see at other places and they’re always lookin fresh.

The WORST customer service ever! I understand that things can get busy, but there’s no excuse for putting the phone down and clearly talking sh** to your colleague about the questions that I’m asking. I’m sorry if I haven’t had the luxury of ordering flowers for a funeral before, and have questions as to what my options are. To the rude employees that work there, the faster you could answer my questions, the faster id get off the phone. Or moving forward, at least learn how to put someone on hold if you’re going to complain about doing YOUR job.

We needed a wrist corsage for my sons prom date. I went from one florist to the next and was met either with «we don’t do them it takes too much time» or a product that was more ribbon than flower. When the folks at Fillmore Florist suggested I try Divisadero I had already visited 6 shops. They were more than accommodating in my request for something unique, allowing me to select the flower and greenery I wanted. They insured that the gentleman that was going to be making the corsage spoke with me to understand exactly what I wanted. It was beautiful and will only ever use them for any corsage and other special requests in the future. Professional, no attitude and clearly geared to customer satisfaction.

July 29th 2009 is when Divisadero Florist did the flowers for my wedding. I’m writing a review now because… it’s better late than never to show your support.
They were great. I gave them a specific amount that I was able to spend on flowers for the entire wedding. I’ll admit I wanted the Botanical Gardens, but I’ll also admit my budget was far from extravagant. I can’t completely remember but I think about $ 600. The biggest thing is they got me hyacinth in late July. Hyacinth isn’t in season in late July, but they got it. The main thing is I didn’t spend a lot but I got everything I needed. It was a no stress. A lovely transaction.

Great seasonal and non-​seasonal selection of flowers, beautiful arrangements, a clean store with good pricing in a nice location location with plenty of metered-​street parking spots, so what could be missing?!?
Answer: The service.
The gentleman who helped me seemed irritated by my 8-​minute visit to his customer-​free store, and very unappreciative regarding the small, $ 30 spend. His responses to my simple requests boarded on snarky even. Not even a thank you? Really?
Given the plethora of other florist options in the very near vicinity I probably won’t be back.
A genuine smile, welcome, and please come again can go a LONG way, buddy.

Our company the American Academy of Ophthalmology «the Eye MD Association», has been using Divisadero Florist for many years. They are amazing! we have never been disappointed they always have the freshest flowers and plants. We highly recommend them to everyone.
I have been working with Sharon there for many years and she always gets our order right first time… every time. They are reliable, dependable and economical too. Their selection is very well stocked for all occasions. You can’t go wrong with Divisadero Florists.

I am originally from the Bay Area and have been using Divisadero Florist for over a decade now when I want to have flowers delivered to friends and family in the city. There is no other florist in the city that makes the gorgeous flower arrangements that they do and the flowers always last so long it’s amazing. Almost every person I’ve sent flowers to has in turn started using them for their floral needs as well. Sharon and Mo the owners are kind, talented and always accommodating. I read one review that says he could get flowers cheaper at Safeway and all I can say is you get what you pay for… there is no comparison in quality of flowers you get from Divisadero florist compared to cheaper flowers elsewhere.
Highly recommend them! 5 stars all around!!!

Fantastic owner with a lot of taste and great selection of beautiful flowers. They are the prefereed vendor for events at sf ballet and concerts around town. I got beautiful purple/​white cali-​lilly with purple tulips. The owner threw in some great purple flower branches to complement my selection. My friend absolutely loved her flowers for her birthday and claimed that it was one of most beautiful bouquets she has ever received!

I received the most amazing floral arrangement I have ever seen from Divisadero Florists! It was full of little roses, lilies, hydrangeas, tulips, snap dragons, daisies and some others that I don’t even know their name.
The textures and colors perfectly complimented each other in the vase. It made my recovery feel that much better! I will definitely go to Divisadero Florists for all my flower needs in the future.
