The art was interesting but I left after being insulted. My friend and I walked to the back of the gallery that was open to the public. The gallery owner /representative loudly said to us «If you are not buying anything today, this section is closed for you.» In contrast, before speaking to us, he spoke to two males who were same section, chatted briefly, and guys(who clearly did not buy) left smiling. My friend also heard him say«Chino» under his breath while we walked out of the«private» section. It’s shocking to hear in SF. The ironic part is that we were admiring an art piece that spoke about love, open mindedness, and peace. I know sales can be difficult but this is not a way to do business.

Unfortunately, I was eating an ice cream when I stumbled upon this place so I wasn’t able to go in just because I didn’t want to make a mess. There were other art galleries when you walk down Jefferson Street but this one stood out more as it was more modern and I feel like people would find it more interesting. My favorite piece was the musical notes coming out of the book( ). I also observed some art pieces that produces a constructed shadow when light was shined through it.
