Great wine, great snacks and great service! A hidden gem in the bustling union square area. Definitely stop by for a great experience!

So far loving this place. Both times I’ve been here, it’s been a little empty. Not sure why. Service was decent and a decent wine selection. They have some of the nicer wines.

Staying over in San Francisco after a convention, I was looking for a place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Found Eno on Unilocal and, as it was just a few blocks from my hotel, I headed over. Found a nice comfortable seat by the window, perfect for people watching, and ordered the California red flight. What a superb wine choice that I savored in a comfortable, no rush, and friendly atmosphere. They also offer a limited food menu, selected to complement the wine. Highly recommended.

While in the city one fine Saturday afternoon, I found myself in busy Union Square and needed a spot to park it before I headed back down to the Motherland that is SJ.
Eno was it.
It’s an establishment you’d easily pass up unless you kept your eyes peeled and specs on lock while you walk along the city sidewalk. Once you see it, be sure to pop in. Their wine selection is like the size of a phone book (sort of, not really) but there’s lots to choose from that you can mix and match your wines, do a flight while pairing it with some cheese, charcuterie or chocolate.
Eno is perfect for catching up with loved ones or getting to know the ones you think you love. I’m definitely going to be checking in here again soon.

We discovered Eno last time we were in SF and made it a definite stop this time around. My wife and I ordered two different flights in order to maximize our experience. The staff will discuss your choices and recommend something else, based upon your taste. Our son, an avowed craft beer drinker even ordered a flight (of course, dad was paying!) and enjoyed as well.
In addition to the classic ambiance in the establishment do yourself a favor and sit by one of the windows and watch SF pass before your eyes. People watching at its best. For something so close to Union Square it appears to have avoided the usual crush of tourists. Of course, my wife and I are tourists as well but have visited SF many times over the years and feel quite at home.
Make sure this is on your bucket list of places to enjoy the city and relax a little while enjoying some wonderful wines.

This place is amazing!!! I’m in the city for 1 night and needed a comfy spot I could enjoy solo. I hop on Unilocal and behold — Eno is just a block away.
I’ve been comfortably seated by a warm fireplace for at least an hour and a half, reading news (on the super fast and free wifi) munching on the duck flat bread and pear pecorino salad… Yum… Super yum (be sure to ask for the red pepper flakes with the duck)!
My super big bold wine flight is also fantastic… This is a wine bar after all… And I’m pretty good at drinking the nectar ;)
The service is great — super attentive and extremely knowledgeable about both the food and wine selection.
Do it. Just go here. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a truly great wine bar in the unexpected location of Union Square. As SF locals, we have tried our share of loud and pretentious places. Eno does a phenomenal job of feeling relaxed from the moment you walk in to the moment the extremely knowledgable staff discusses your choice.
We had 2 flights and snacks. Every thing was beyond expectation. These are some of the best wines we have had and I’m seriously considering canceling my wine clubs. It’s rare to have an excellent atmosphere and excellent service/​fare. We will be back to try more of their artfully curated wines.

My friend and I met here for a quick glass of wine. We ended up staying and relaxing for a few, and some great cheeses and olives and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Great for people watching and not too far from anything. Knowledgable server was spot on and the flights were very well selected.

Was visiting SF for a couple days and stayed at a hotel near Union Square. Before leaving, I wanted to make sure I visited a wine bar and check out its selections.
Unilocal directed me to this location and was not disappointed. Since I was 2 blocks away from Union Square, this place was relatively closeby and really enjoy the ambience at this location. While it was dim inside, its really a nice place to hang out and enjoy the company you’re with. Was lucky to get seated at the window fronting Geary Street so was able to check out the activities going outside.
They had a great selections of wine, from mid– to high-​range wines. Got there kinda late so didn’t have much opportunity to order food from the menu. The server we had was every friendly and knowledgeable! Was in the mood for Italian wine and was recommended a very splendid, medium bodied Italian wine. 2009 Badia di Morrona N’Antia Toscana.
With good company and good wine, you can’t go wrong here! Definitely a place to visit next time I’m in SF again!

I was visiting SF for a conference when I found this gem on Unilocal.It’s close to Union Square, near the Westin Hotel.
We attended with one non-​wine drinker, who was happy with the cider they had on tap. The rest of us enjoyed flights of wine — some red, some white. Our server was so knowledgable about the wine it was amazing. We had some questions about what to order and he was able to match us with the best flights easily.
We were all thrilled with our wines, passing them around the table for everyone else to enjoy. I really like that they serve the wines with cards with the names and descriptions of the wines. I always forget what I drink, so after snapping a picture I will remember the next time I’m at the wine store.
We enjoyed our wines with some nice meats, cheeses, olives, and chocolates. Everything was delicious and we finished every last drop.
I would definitely return to Eno the next time I’m in SF.

Nice respite from the busy hustle and bustle of union square. They offer wine flights. I chose the CaliReds and was quite happy with the selections. I also really enjoyed the deviled egg flight, especially the seasonal pomegranate and cracked black pepper. Would definitely return if I visit San Francisco again.

Love the dim ambiance and the side tables to see out. It can be people watching time while delving into charcuterie and wine.

I was cozying it up near the fireplace while enjoying the pleasant French earthly wine with the ENO signature charcuterie plate.
Quite a romantic, date place.
Whether to do just that or simply dropping in for a drink, it’s admirably a tucked away wine bar in the heart of downtown.

Eno was the perfect spot for a glass of lovely rosé while I waited for Toni Sushi to open around the corner. It’s an intimate space with comfortable chairs, beautiful flutes for sparkling and just the right level of service for a gal greedily consuming the contents of a book (or two) via Kindle. The Notorious RBG is one bad mamajamba, FYI. With the low, cozy lighting I was in a zone. I also could have taken a delicious nap.
I looked with envy at the decadent cheese plates being served left and right. Had I not been hankering for fresh fish I may have succumbed to the temptation; the rest of their menu also read like a dream. The pricing is totally reasonable, especially for SF. If you’re looking for a spot to relax between your CA adventures, or you want to relax without an adventure, or you want to drink something — whatever your predicament, just go here.

Very nice wine lounge, well decorated and good wine selection. We stopped here for the after drinks cheese board and had to try their deviled eggs.
Everything was reasonably priced and we enjoyed spending our time at this place. I would come back.

Going here recently I can now see why there are so many good reviews! Loved the ambiance and the whole vibe of the place! It’s kind of like a hole in the wall but more like a mini Napa on the street. Entering the place my friend and I felt a little underdressed but the waiters all were friendly and nice not judging us at all with our casual attire. Although i have never been carded twice before but I guess it’s just standard since my friend and I look so young. It was a rainy day and wine was just a nice pair to the mood so my friend and I thought of coming here to have a catch up date.
For the wine: definitely go straight to the wine flights if you don’t know what wine you absolutely love. I find their wine flights names so cute and punny. In the end my friend really likes white wine so we shared an alpine white wine flight. The waitress was so nice with explaining what each wine was and not judging us for our naïve knowledge of wine. We loved two of the wines that came with the flight which was the far left and right. The middle wine was a bit too earthy for us, reminded me of a distinct smell you smell in a garden.
For the food: we just ordered a starter of bread that comes with olive oil and a few pieces of grapes. The bread went well with the wine.
Overall: will definitely come again!!! Maybe with friends or with my boyfriend. This place really has a romantic and cozy vibe to it.

Wine snacks were sooooo delicious! Definitely was impressed with the service they had to offer here. Waiter was polite and explained all the wines/​snacks in detail.
Will be coming back when I’m in the city.

Ugh, i am so conflicted here.
The service was rushed and OK but i was told the kitchen was backed up.
We were lucky to get some flat bread and an unwanted pronounciation lesson but
i think we went during a busy understaffed night.

This place has become one of my go-​to places in San Francisco. I love it because it’s never overly crowded and I love how cozy the place is! They have couch-​like seats and even a fireplace!
I love the wine flights, which change with season. They give out wine flight cards that explain each glass, which is pretty fun.
The only thing I’ve noticed is that when it is actually busy, service can be really slow. They only have one waiter on a Saturday night?
But other than that — definitely one of my favorite hangout spots.

Price: About $ 20 for a 3 wine flight.
Parking: Structures? Union Square parking.
Service: The Wine connoisseur were very knowledgeable and friendly.
Drinks: I love how the flights have little histories and descriptions of each wine.
Food:
They offer pairings, but we didn’t opt for that.
Notes: I would def come back to try their Port & Chocolate pairings. Slammin’ music. Awesome names of flights.

Eno wine Bar is an amazing wine bar with a great selection of wine. Several cheese and chocolate pairing are available. The bar is very cozy with low light, a chimney and dark colors make it a very intimate place for a date.
R & I stopped here before dinner for a drink, we ended up having the bubbles flight and the Spain cheeses flight. The cheeses ’ portions were very generous, came with a some pickles and poached pear slices.
I really loved Eno Wine Bar, the service was extraordinary, very helpful and knowledgeable. Ask for any recommendations and they will gladly help you.
My next time here I will definitely have a red wine flight paired with a chocolate flight.

Lust auf eine Mini-​Weinprobe und kleine Käseplatte dazu hat und bereit ist ein wenig mehr zu zahlen, dem kann ich die Eno Wine Bar empfehlen.
