SERIOUSLY I hope you read this before purchasing anything!!!
I thought I would be sweet and surprise my wife! I bought her a 15 $ «cannon lens» for 300.00 $$!!! They show’d me a rip off Amazon pricing for the same «lens» that was actually a «lens adaptor» so I thought I was getting a deal on a 700 $ lens she had been wanting!!! THIS STORE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN!!!

Don’t buy ANYTHING here! They sold us a $ 20 lens extension for $ 599. He showed us that a web site has it listed at $ 1200 so it seemed like a deal. Upon researching it after the fact we found they do this ALL the time! We went back and were able, through almost an hour worth if haggling, exchange it for a nikon lens worth WAY less than they had it priced for, but at least we made a little back as they have a no return policy and the sign says they’re going out of business. From the other reviews we read, you shouldn’t count on getting anything back if this happens to you. We went in super nice and super firm on needing something else. We tried to get a nikon SB 910 flash to exchange but they said our «lens» could only be exchanged for another lens. We will be submitting a complaint to the better business bureau also. It’s only one star because I can’t give any less.

My father 66 needed a new camera. When he showed me the camera this store sold him today for 450USD+tax, I see that it retails at 139USD and it can be found at around 100USD! They also sold a lens worth 20USD he does not need at 475USD. They also said he would get the SD memory and the case for free, but now we see on the receipt my father signed that he got charged 125+48USD+tax for them. This is probably a mistake since the salesman was not the one typing the receipt. Obviously we would like to return the items, but on the receipt we now see «no refunds on merchandise». My father is extremely unhappy, could you please make an exception and let him return it? I am sure that cost you less than having negative reviews and unhappy customers !

Actually this is called Frisco Electronics Inc. but also Lectronicity or what I should have know to be a bonafide tourist trap and I’m not even a tourist. I just happened to be with friends from out of town and browsing.
I stopped in to check out their viewfinders that mount on to a camera LCD for video view… then talked about a couple of filters. Distracted by some other activities the guy quoted me $ 100 for one filter and $ 60 for the other and then charged me twice for $ 350 including tax for two filters… my car was in need of moving and I had people waiting… I needed the filters and thought I was getting the price I was quoted and instead I was surprised when I got home to find I was over charged.
Thing is these were cheap, cheap, cheap filters not even worth the price he quoted me. He also tried to sell me a lens for $ 1900 — it was a plastic piece of crap… but when I backed away from the purchase he went down as low as $ 900. I should have known then I was in for a ride.
But my car meter was running out and my friends were waiting so I rushed through the purchase and have regretted it ever since. (I will fight the extra charges with my bank.)
Tax alone was $ 30. This place is a rip off. I will find a way to fight this too.

I promised the owner I would write a review. He was so helpful in pointing me to the most expensive battery charger in the shop until he realized I wasn’t just any old tourist.
When I tried to haggle him down in price, he realized I was a NY’er. He talked me into a more reasonable battery for my camera, and knocked the price down enough for me to make a decent purchase. Either that, or he became frustrated at my persistence.
I was impressed at his generosity, and recommend his shop if ever you need any electronic equipment and happen to be on the wharf (I know, this doesn’t happen too often).
