I forgot about Fuzio’s. I haven’t been there in years. My friend and I stopped by there for a late lunch and early dinner. It was happy hour so we ordered a couple appetizers and then ordered our meals. Great service and great food. I will be back.

My office orders from take out here and they do a pretty good job at accommodating 15+ people if we get our order in before 11:15am. If we don’t, then they might miss a side salad or soup like they did today. Their food is tasty and arrives hot and fresh and they have options for all dietary restrictions. When I’m on a low carb diet, I’ll eat their Salmon with Spinach w/o the Pasta or Chicken Lettuce Wraps and Minestrone Soup. We all love their Firecracker Pork Fusilli with the regular pasta. The gluten free or whole wheat pasta is not even the same. Remember not to mix in the habanero sauce if you don’t like spicy but do mix in the sour cream. Their Salads are all good as well as their Chicken dishes though others in my office like to order their Pastas. They have an awesome happy hour and great desserts too.

Ideal spot if you like pasta. Love their Forecracker Pork Fusili. Chopped salad is also tasty. All under $ 15. Also enjoyed their lemonade which has the right amount of tartness and not loaded w/too much sugar.

Fuzio is the definition of a three star restaurant. Very average, but it will get the job done if that’s what you’re looking for. They mostly have pasta, with some salads and sandwiches. In general, the food in the embarcadero center is a step below other restaurants in the area, and Fuzio really epitomizes that. It has okay food that will tide you over if you are looking for convenience over flavor. Fuzio is also a decent spot to go for a happy hour after work. They have a nice patio and plenty of seating for a big group.

Sat on the patio. Poor service. Super slow & forgetful. Everything was forgettable. I recal the vietnamese spring rolls but not the 2 pastas we ordered. I do remember that I requested whole grain penne which was forgotten so my dish had to be remade.

Four stars for their fire cracker pork fusilli! Can’t be bothered with anything else really but this dish is one of a kind for me. Love it with extra habanero on the side. So sad they closed down most of their other locations.

Luckily, it was Sunday when we went to this restaurant so we parked on the street for free. By the way, this restaurant is located on the THIRD floor of the FIRSTEMBARCADERO. We had trouble finding it and the directories were broken… WTF? My friend and I walked in and was informed that it was happy hour — appetizers(except the crab cakes) were 50% off — what a deal! Select pizzas were also $ 5. We were also told that we could sit anywhere in the bar and chose to sit next to the windows. I bet the view is beautiful at night… We eventually ordered the sausage and chicken pizza, calamari, and the sweet potato waffle fries. The pizza was okay, I love hot sauce on my pizza and wanted to ask our server for some but he never got around to our table… The calamari and the sweet potato fries were mediocre. The reason why this place received a 2-star was because of the horrible service. The only reason why I didn’t rate this a 1-star was because of the average food. We waited about 15 – 20 minutes for our food to come out when there were only 5 other patrons inside the place. The people that came after us received their food before us! After we finished, we waited about 10 minutes for our check. Being fed up, we just walked up to pay and left. Would I recommend this place? If you don’t mind waiting. Would I come back again??? Very low chance I will.

This place is a favorite of mine. I work close by and found this hidden treasure in the Embarcadero Center on the upper«promenade» level. It’s situated in the heart of the FiDi area across from a nice but independent movie theatre. They serve great dishes, appetizers, wine, beer, w mixed drinks. I usually get all of the above! Because I’ve been here so many times, I know they have a Happy Hour every weekday and even a half bottle day. Catch ya on the inside!

Solid place for the money. Good for a casual lunch with a friend who works downtown, or with co-workers. You get what you pay for. Steak sandwich was good — the steak was a bit too chewy. Weirdly, it took a while to get our meal and the place was kind of empty

Well earned 2 stars. Nothing bad, but nothing special. Prices are okay, as was the food. Just okay.

Happy hours are great. Our waitress was bubbly and nice. Food, such as their tuna melt and blue cheese chicken salad was good. There was an open seating near the bar that was nice to be at. It wasn’t outdoors, but you’re sitting in a see through glass kind of lounge. Pretty sweet to enjoy a luncheon while being there. It’s a hidden spot to draw the crowd to come into because it is located in the mall and up on the second floor. I would say that this place is easily missed. Out of sight, out of mind. I wouldn’t have known this chain restaurant existed if it wasn’t for a client meet up. Solid place.

Fuzio’s is one of those places you’ve probably tried, but don’t remember anything about it. The food isn’t memorable, neither excellent nor horrible. So when I ordered catering from them, I didn’t realize that I had actually had their food before. The ordering experience was easy — I just contacted them over email, had a few back and forths, settled on the the menu, and then finalized the order over the phone. The food was delivered on time, setup for me, and hot and ready to go in time for the lunch meeting. I ordered the chicken sausage penne, the prawn linguine pomodoro, the vegetarian linguine pomodoro, the vegetarian angel hair pasta with fresh tomatoes, salad, and the grilled flat bread. The only reason I realized I had had Fuzio’s before was when I ate the flatbread, since it was the only item that had an abundance of flavor. Everything else was just okay. So if you want to order a lot of food, that tastes just okay, then go for Fuzio’s!

This place was great. I had the angel hair paella which was wonderful. My dining companion got a grilled cheese sandwich and fries. The fries were the super crispy shoestring style. Service was attentive, and in general a nice variety of things on the menu including a couple of specials.

Sad that they closed the castro location of this place and now only embarcadero location is left. My favorite dish and must try is their firecracker pork fusilli it’s a pork pasta with habanero pesto and sour cream mix it is so yummy especially if you enjoy spicy food! If you’re not a big fan of spicy don’t mix all the sauce together. It is my absolutely favorite spicy pasta dish. I haven’t tried any of their other dishes but I’m sure it’s probably good but since I only come to this place once in awhile I always order the same thing. It’s great for groups, parties and take out

Great neighborhood spot or dinner and indie movie across walkway at Embarcadero Cinema date spot. Salads and pasta dishes are highlights — especially items with firecracker flavored items. They have the most wonder strawberry-apples crisp dessert for $ 4.95 topped with lemon marscarpone cream and crushed amaretto cookies. If you’re just looking for a nice dessert, this item is worth the trip to Embarcadero Center!

Fuzio is a definite go to spot in the financial district. I keep coming back because it has a great combination of being reasonably priced for the food quality with the bonus of excellent service! I usually get there for lunch around 11:50 so I never have to wait. I usually order the Firecracker Pork like most people but this last visit I tried one of their lunch specials. The special was a version Macaroni and Cheese which was made with a garlic cream, sharp cheddar and cubed ham which was around $ 12. Don’t expect the typical southern style Mac and Cheese because you won’t find it here. The garlic cream to cheddar ratio was a nice balance. The dish overall leans towards«I feel healthy» than«I want to sleep» because they don’t seem to use too much butter or sauce. I also usually order their Tropical Ice Tea(unsweetened) to round out my meal. The lemonades are also a nice touch on warm days.

Place is A-OK…kinda pricey if you ask me but the firecracker pork pasta dish was pretty awesome. I don’t know why i expected more from the prawn pomodoro but that came out just average. Overall i’d come back but this is definitely a better place to go if your work pays for it.

I came here for a business lunch and ordered the fish and chips. I love fish and chips, but this was honestly the worst fish and chips I have ever had. The chips were hard/crunchy, and I ended up removing most of the fried batter from the fish. It just didn’t taste good to me at all. The meal was also way too salty. A co-worker got a pasta dish and the pasta was hard/not fully cooked. I’m giving the restaurant 2 stars, because at least the calamari appetizer was good and the salads some of my co-workers got looked pretty good. Geez I hope they don’t drag me back here! But if they do, I may try one of the salads.

Went here yesterday for lunch, and arrived a little after noon with my friend and one of our friends from church. Most of the tables in the front and back sections were filled(all of the outside tables were noticeably empty, though, since it was a cloudy, muggy day), but they still managed to seat us right away. No wait time? Love it. Our server, Eduardo, came by with their regular menus, a small specials menu, and an extended you-can’t-have-any-so-don’t-bother-looking drinks menu. I really like that they don’t try to hand you some Cheesecake Factory tome of a menu. You’ve got your appetizers, some salads and soups, burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, and afew other entrees. In this regard, Fuzio seems well-suited for the SF FiDi lunch crowd who cherish a sit-down meal, but want it to run under an hour. Here’s what we got: Friend — Chicken Sausage Penne — 11.75(spicy chicken sausage, light marinara, roasted red bell peppers, basil, parmesan, and parsley) Friend — Strawberry Lemonade — 3.50(refills on this) Rigatoni Alfuzio w/Chicken Added — 15(garlic cream sauce, pomodoro, hickory smoked bacon, parmesan, and parsley) Me — Thyme French Fries — 4.50(shoe string potatoes, thyme served with ketchup and roasted garlic aioli) Angel Hair Paella — 13.95(sauteed shrimp, calamari and chicken sausage, served in a marinara and marsala wine sauce, then topped with peas and parsley) I much prefer wedge cut over shoe string, but the french fries were still great. Loved how they were infused with thyme, and the garlic aioli definitely paired well with it. Solid starter while you’re waiting for your meal. Gives you something to do in between sharing updates about life and general chatter, but there’s no way it’ll fill you up and spoil your appetite for lunch. They were very generous with the chicken sausage, calamari, and shrimp in the paella, so this was a very filling dish. The marinara sauce was a little too watery, though. Wish it could’ve presented a stronger tomato flavor. When the check came, we contemplated putting everything on one card, but when we asked Eduardo if we could split the bill 3 ways, he said it wouldn’t be a problem and did just that. As someone who has worked in a restaurant before, I know it can be a pain, especially when it’s busy. Thanks, Eduardo, for letting us do that! The timestamp on our receipt said 12:56PM. Would I come back to Fuzio? For a nice sit-down lunch experience in under an hour, and at a reasonable price? Definitely. I don’t think you’ll get«blown away» by any particularly creative entrees here, but if you’re looking for a fairly decent dish, they’ve give it to you.

ITS A WORKLUNCHKINDAPLACE (3.75 stars) Okay. And great for HH too. BECAUSE I am all about HH and HH prices. –FOOD, decent –PRICES, Decent –SERVICE, excellent –AMBIANCE, clean Was treated here by my new teammates. It’s nice to be on that law firm expense budget! We shared appetizers and ordered a lunch item. Never ate here for lunch before but been here during HappyHour. Sorry, no pictures to share. I didn’t want my teammates to think I’m weird having a photo-session with my food. HEFERSTATS. CALAMARI — for a «pan-Asian» place they do calamari right. It has this light crunchy putter layer, typical dipping sauce, and is good. Kind of small servings for the pice, in my opinion. I recommend this dish. LETTUCEWRAPS — typical. TUNASANDWICHWITHSHOESTRINGTHYMEFRIES — tuna sandwich was not what I expected, it was more if a tuna melt between flatbread. It was kind of hard to eat and messy with all the juices leaking down your hands and arm. I LOVESHOESTRINGFRIES, perfect crisp, skinny, and tasty with the thyme??? MANGOLEMONADEICETEA — this was refreshing! Mango and lemonade, perfect combination. Will I be back? Likely for HH. Until the next review…
