When this place is on point, the garlic fries are a definite 4-star. However, the fry quality is often inconsistent, sometimes it is soggy and sometimes it is cold. The freshly minced garlic and parsley is always just right though. The garlic doesn’t seem to be completely raw, but it is lightly cooked so the garlicky edge isn’t mellowed away. The cut of fry is rustic with a medium thickness and some skin on the edges. I generally prefer fries that are McDonald’s thinness, but I feel like this size works well to carry chunks of garlic and parsley. On occasions that I do get really crispy and warm-just-out-of-the-fryer batch, they are wonderful. But since the fry temperature and texture is so variable, they get demoted to 3 stars.

Nice way to enjoy the park. Fries were tasty, right level of salt, and ample garlic bits with parsley. I got the fries with chicken tenders for about 12.50. Outrageous price but what can you do? Beers were a tiny cup for 11 bucks! Get the chicken tenders and really enjoy.

What in the world is wrong with you people? How can you give this place 3.5 stars? This is not just any french fries with garlic. This is an experience. This is the reason why I am a Giants fan. Ok. it’s not. But it’s why I am a more avid Giants fan. It’s what makes going to the ballpark worth it even if the Giants get slaughtered. The price is steep but when you have just paid $ 56 for parking, $ 7 for a coke, $ 8.50 for the best fries in the world is ok. Perfectly crispy even after it gets cold. I love that the garlic sticks to the fries. I’ve had garlic fries where they put all this garlic on top but they all fall off.

Less than 5 stars?! I’m sorry, WHAT!!! Take your traditional French fries. Then toss in a bunch of fresh chopped garlic? Hmmm… They’re nice & crispy. Maybe they are not ALL perfectly crispy, but anyone that actually expects every fry to be perfect is just expecting too much. Don’t be unreasonable. Garlic fries have become another food mascot for SF. And at the baseball park? If you don’t have some at the game, then maybe you didn’t actually go to the game. The skinny on Gilroy Garlic Fries… They are on the Top Ten List for the best baseball stadium food in the United States. Yeah… they’re THAT good. The fabulous chef that is Tyler Florence has waxed poetic about these fries… he did a game infomercial & everything. San Francisco has more than a few things that«represent» it proper… Sourdough bread. Clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl. Fresh Dungeness crab. Brunch any day of the week. Fog. Layering. The Giants. Levi’s. The band Journey & singing«Lights.» And garlic fries. If Clint Eastwood did another Dirty Harry movie, there’s no doubt that Harry would find himself at AT&T Park, strategizing his next move in apprehending the bad guys. There he’d be, his eyes pierced, steely & studiously. While noshing on some Gilroy Garlic Fries. Most definitely. Both a game & an SF staple. 5 stars.

Yeah, you can’t really get better garlic fries than Gilroy Garlic Fries. Only one time did I get TOOMUCH garlic. So I will have to say that you gotta get lucky almost. One time I got too little and once the amount was perfect. The best thing I love is that the fries are ALWAYS crispy, even when cold. There are 3 – 4 lines at Gilroy which makes it move faster. Come to the ball park with money because the food here is extremely pricy. At Dodgers Stadium I thought it was high but here you gotta have a nice fat wallet. Thanks AT&T Park for having me, you have wonderful food!

Located inside of AT&T park, Gilroy Garlic Fries offers delicious garlic fries. I ordered the chicken tenders with and added the garlic fries for an extra $ 2. The total was $ 12.50. Yeah, it’s expensive, but its San Francisco and also in a Ball Park. The fries were perfectly crispy and garlickly. I only got 3 chicken strips, but portions are always small. Everything was delicious and I would come back again. Oh, also, there was a pretty long line, but worth the wait!

Taste is 4 stars. Price is 1. Service is now a 1. As I pointed to the gentlemen in glasses hand to compliment his triforce tattoo, he pulled away. I said, «I’m just trying to compliment your tattoo.» He says«what do you want??». Rudest mother f***** I’ve met. I hope you see this too dick head. Like I said before, «GO F*CKYOURSELF».

I think it would be better if the wind wasn’t blowing at me at 30 mph. By the time the fries reached my mouth, it was already soggy cold. The price of those fries is also a bit high. If you weren’t in a statium, you would probably think they are nuts to charge you that much for a handful of fries. Guess when you attend a ball game, you expect to be raped. It turns out they were gentle with you and you are grateful it is not a bleeder. Thus the 3 stars instead of 1.

I love me some garlic fries and these do not dissapoint. The garlic, parsley and hint of lemon is a perfect harmony. When the fries are crisPy and fresh the snack is lights out. Beware if they sit and are limp.

They are still as good as they were when I first had em in 1995 or 96. Stanky ass garlic, served up with parsley over thick cut crispy fries. I’m a big fan. They even serve up the mints you can get for free at the service station. Yeah, when you serve me up some $ 10 fries, what I really wanna do right after is chomp down on a really crappy mint. Considering the money we spend at the yard, you could offer up the mint’s from See’s Candy and call it a day. I will say this b/c Giants employees understand marketing and that’s about it. You can MARKET See’s Candy by giving us their delicious mints. Call up Momma See and tell that old lady this«Mrs. See’s, this is the dirtbag in the marketing dept. for yoooooorrrr SF Giants. We’d like to give away your delicious mints with our highly overpriced garlic fries. We will post your photo, after a lil airbrushing to make you look gorgeous, right next to the cash register. Deal? Wait, what’s that you say? How much. Come on girl, we gotta deal for you. We will ONLY charge you $ 250,000 annually and we can definitely lock you in at our premium service agreement for 52 years?» Dial tone!!!

3.5 stars?! seriously, you silly san franciscans, you have no idea how good you guys have it with gilroy garlic fries at the at&t park. down in socal(angels stadium, specifically) we have what i thought were decent, but now turned shitty parmesan garlic fries after inhaling the gilroy garlic fries. excellent flavor, all the fries are drenched in garlicy goodness. i ordered the garlic fries topped with chicken fingers and boy was i in arteries clogging heaven. no regrets :) i’d seriously go to another giants game just to stuff my face with the garlic fries again. no joke. so quit complainin’, you silly san franciscans.

Who doesn’t love garlic fries?! You can never have just one! This is a must buy whenever I watch a giants game. Had some the other day and they were perfect. The fries were not soggy and not overloaded with garlic! Have this for an appetizer to share between two people.

These fries are great! The orders coming out of this kiosk were huge — we couldn’t finish them! Ours were fresh and cooked perfectly, and of course topped with a ton of fresh garlic — I was still tasting garlic for hours after the game. These are an AT&T Park classic, but definitely share an order with at least one other person.

Wow I didn’t even notice that AT&T switched up the garlic fries from Gordon Biersch to Gilroy Garlic Fries… since when? I don’t really notice a difference… still the same garlicky fried goodness and it’s just another must have! More self serve condiments are offered now instead of the typical ketchup… Ranch and BBQ! Along with garlic fries you can top your bratwurst or hot link with some grilled onions that’s sauteed with peppers and more garlic! YUUUUM! GOGIANTS!

There are a few Gilroy Garlic Fries stands at AT&T Park. They serve garlic fries(of course) as well as bratwursts, other sausage sandwiches and some higher quality beer that you won’t find at most stadiums. We should have told the server«no thank you» on the fries when she presented us with a basket of soggy looking fries topped sparingly with minced garlic and herbs. The fries were not the best presentation and had definitely been sitting around for a long time. With stadium food, you get pretty good turnover so the fries should usually be pretty crisp, but that was not the case here. They obviously made the fries well in advance(a shortcut that probably makes it easier on the staff to get through busier periods). The fries were soggy, cold and pretty bad(even for stadium food). The garlic flavor was also not that prominent. The bratwurst was a little better. The bun was a slightly toasted hot dog bun with sesame seeds. The bratwurst had a nice char on it. At a lot of stadiums, the bratwurst either(a) looks like a hot dog and tastes like a hot dog with more kick or(b) are boiled. While the bratwurst here looked a little better than what you would get at some other stadiums, it was kind of average overall(dry and cold; it also had been sitting around for too long). The bratwurst was topped with onions and peppers, which were mediocre and about what you would expect from a baseball stadium vendor. The bratwurst was more expensive than the other sausage sandwiches sold at Gilroy Garlic Fries. It was over $ 7. Overall, the prices for the sausages and fries were consistent with other baseball stadiums(maybe slightly higher). We saw garlic fries throughout the night and the fries looked a little better(more crisp). Their fries might be better when made right though after reading a lot of Unilocal reviews(like the one from Christine C), it sounds like their fries are often bad. Because of that, if you do order these fries, I would advise rejecting them if they appear soggy.

I’ve been to Gilroy numerous times during the Gilroy Garlic Festival and these, my friends, can not compare to the real thing. First of all, the garlic should be sweet, not bitter. The fries should be crispy, not soggy and oily. But during a cold and windy night at the ballpark,(that’s almost every night) these will suffice… if you add enough condiments on em. Mind you, I’ve had better garlic fries at Jody Maroni’s of all places. Of course, that was in Gilroy. This is deceptive advertisement since they should rename them San Francisco Garlic Fries. 2 ½ stars.
