Best hats ever, and they have a feather bar, what?! If you’re looking for a hat, Goorin will hook you up. High quality with an assortment of different sizes, you’ll definitely find something you’ll like. The staff is also really knowledgeable. The Haight Street location is actually pretty big for a Goorin store front. The one near Union Square is minuscule in comparison.

Best. Hats. EVER. Been coming here for years spending all my money on hats. Then I lose them because I’m an idiot and I come back and buy them again.
The manager hooked me up on my last visit and stamped my «buy 10 hats get one free card» a bunch of times for all the hats I never got credit for. Legit.
If you’re into hats and looking like a baller, just go to this store.

Awesome experience there today. Bought a hat for myself and two for my wife. The staff was awesome. I wish I could remember their names. They helped pick out the perfect hat for me. Their customer service was AAA all the way. I can’t wait to get my next hat from them

Not so often I go to «The Haight» cuz they’re too many stores that I like to go to… but when my lady asked me to go with her and her family… I was really hesitant to go. And then I remembered the stores I needed to go as I scrolled through my phone’s book mark of places to go.
I didn’t go to all the places I wanted to go but we did walked in to GOORIN BROTHERS. The place was busy as I hear the lady saying selected hats are on sale and that caught my attention and asked her if she had the «DR. FEEL GOOD». She said no but I knew it was in season I walked passed her to make sure as I walked in and back out she was holding them. I told her those are the «DR. FEEL GOOD»! She was like OK so I tried it on and they had my size.
She was «Cool» when telling me the different feathers that can go with the hat… as we were checking out I asked her some more questions on how to take care of it. She was more than nice enough to take care of us so I decided to buy two «BAMBINO» caps that were on sale. THANKS SHAWNA!!!

I now own two gorgeous hats and a feather headband from Goorin Bros at this location. This is my lucky location because they normally have my size. I have a 7 ¾ head and not every hat maker makes hats for the larger (i.e…big) head. The prices are reasonable and I appreciate the variety of styles. The feather headband has a flapper 1920’s feel. I love my trendy floppy felt hat I remember channeling the 1970’s fashion when I bought it. I recently attended a Kentucky Derby inspired party and I needed a fancy straw summer hat, the Haight Street location had just what I needed in the perfect color. I love this store.

Wow. charlie helped fixed my hat just when i walked in the store! they are awesome, the store has awesome décor and super nice! They set the standard for hats! Awesome!

I’ve purchased several hats at this shop over the years, and have always been impressed by the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff. I’ve also found the hats to be sturdy, and of overall good quality.
Recently, I returned to the store with a hat I’d purchased nearly a year earlier, which I had not worn the hat because it was a size too large. I did not have the receipt, but as it had been unworn, and stored in a hat box, the shop exchanged it for the same hat in a smaller size without complaint. Now that’s customer service! I was so happy, I bought another hat.
Oh, and by the way– when I returned home that day I found the year-​old receipt that I hadn’t needed. Go figure.

Classy, expensive, worthwhile investments if you wear hats. The only problem? Which hat? Exceedingly helpful and friendly staff.

As a balding man (thanks for being the skipped generation, Dad) that has gotten one too many sunburns since moving out here, a nice hat is a necessity. And while I have my grandfather’s fedora for special occasions — when I wear a tux, not when I wear shorts — a nice, casual hat is what I want.
My first experience with Goorin Bros. was actually a flatcap through a Massdrop for $ 20. Considering some Goorin Bros. hats can get to $ 98, this was a great deal and I was ecstatic to find one in the Haight.
The selection here is solid for men and women. A range in both price or occasion give you a lot of options, even if this isn’t there largest store.

Had to come here for the Breaking Bad hat!

Hats

Some friends and I decided to go on a hat adventure. The mission was to not leave empty headed; and we didn’t. Kelly was like a superhero helping us find the right styles for us and giving us expert hat care advice simultaneously. Everyone in the store was amazing and helpful and welcoming even of our group of lunatics from the coast. We ended up leaving with 5 hats and very big smiles!
Thank you Kelly and Goorin Bros! My baldness is now much more trendy.

If you have a case of a guy: trying to join all other great men with hats… then bring him here. The staff is helpful, honest and not pushy. Additionally, I have been here on 2 occasions and (as a non-​hatty person, myself) enjoyed the music and refreshments while helping my hat-​enthusiasts friends top their heads a la mode.

I could definitely buy all the hats in this place!!! My fiancé was looking online for fedora’s for out wedding and he found this place. So we decided to head out to the city to check it out and have some fun in the area!
Love the feeling inside the store and the employees are very helpful. My fiancé wanted a specific hat but one gentleman pointed him in another direction for a hat that would look better for the feel we wanted. Not only did my fiancé walk out with a hat but so did I! I get compliments on my big red floppy hat every time I wear it. I have been on a hat fetish lately and this place gives me my fix!

The only complaint I have is that during the summer this place gets a little warm. There really isn’t anything less pleasant than trying on wool hats in a warm room with a handful of hippies that don’t believe in deodorant.
Other than that, the hats are awesome and the sales personnel is awesome also. They really know their product.

Need a hat? This would be the place to go. Even though the prices are really steep, the hats here are really good quality and are actually sized so that they’ll fit on your head. Need help looking through the overwhelming number of styles and colors? No problem, the staff is really nice and willing to help, I’m really short and there are so very many tall shelves out of my reach, and the staff was happy to get them for me for a try-​on. I had hats put on me that were a better fit than the ones I found on my own. Yup, for hats, I’m definitely coming here. Where else can you get such good quality and service?

It’s been about five months since my last haircut. Right now, the tresses are looking pretty awful and I have no patience to fix my hair (or purchase much-​needed styling cream). It’s hair emergencies like these that remind me that hats are an essential accessory in every woman’s arsenal.
I’m a huge fan of Goorin hats. To me, they’re like Fluevogs for your head. (If you’ve never experienced Fluevog shoes, then you haven’t truly lived!) They have an excellent variety of sizes (a big plus when you have a head as big as mine), and their styles are amazing. You can find something for anyone at Goorin.
‘Tis the season of their winter sale, so my dear friend D and I dropped in to check out the sale items. Though this shop is quite small, there is a great sale selection. D and I walked out with two hats each! Their products are well-​made and hold up nicely. Again, the sizing variety means that my big head is hat happy!
Tip: Sign up for a frequent customer card. You can eventually earn yourself a free hat! Another tip: Don’t hesitate to buy online. There’s an excellent sale section there!

This place has a very nice hat selection for men and women.
This isn’t your typical «Lids» baseball cap place,
this is high quality, Brim hats, Feather hats, with incredible sitching
and handle with the best craftmenship money can buy.
The customer service is delightful. They reccomended and suggested
different hat sizes to fit my dome piece.

I love their vintage inspired hats. Compared to their location in North Beach, this store is massage. When I went there was a huge selection of hats for 50% off for men, women and kid’s.
Great place to pick up a hat or just play dress up!
