Found this little gem on Groupon. They have 11 groups of meals, 3 meals each for 2 people.(can get it for 4,6,8 or 10 people) They do all the shopping for you and send you all the ingredients along with the recipes with step by step instructions with pictures. I got the Meat Lovers Bundle, which is Chicken with Roasted Apples, Beef Saltado with Roasted Potatoes and Chicken with Tomatoes and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. It was so easy and very tasty. Servings are huge so their idea of 2 servings turned out to be 4 for Better Half and me. Wish I had known about this before my parents came to visit earlier this year. It would have saved me a lot of hassle grocery shopping(when I was busy) and too many evenings in disappointing restaurants, plus the fear that my meals would turn out badly. Next, I want to try the Fast and Fresh Bundle which is Honey Mustard Chicken with Basil Salad, Salmon with Peach and Basil Salsa and Grilled Pork Chops with Sweet and Savory Onions. This company got me out of the rut that I have been in about coming up with meal ideas, writing out a grocery list, going shopping and preparing meals. With Groupon, it was $ 3.84 per person per meal. Normal price runs around $ 7.80 per person per meal including the $ 8 shipping fee. Still cheaper than going out to eat. No subscription required. * * *Update October 8* * * I received the Fast and Fresh Bundle today. It arrived when promised and everything was there. We can’t wait to try all of these also. We were very happy with the previous meals. Handpick still sends enough meat for each meal for 4 servings instead of the 2 that they suggest. With the special that they have going on, «2FREEGO» you buy 4 and get 2 meals for free. That makes them $ 5.30 each meal per person including shipping. The basil is a little bruised but there is more than enough that is okay for all 3 meals. We are still very excited about this company! * * *Update October 8 Evening* * * The meal kit arrived at 9 a.m. but by dinner time, the bruised basil had turned completely black and had to be thrown away. I prepared the Honey Mustard chicken. Hubby and I agreed that we didn’t care for the meal at all. We don’t usually eat chicken thighs and decided that when baked, they are tasty, but this meal has them fried, which we didn’t like. Even without the basil, we didn’t like the oil and lemon salad dressing or the Romaine lettuce.
