Heather Nichols

It almost seems an impossibility that she can be so immensely talented & so perfectly personable. I always imagine that the most talented people have to be aloof, especially in the fashion industry. SF is inundated with hipster salons & non-​relatable hairdressers.
Heather is absolute perfection. She is brimming with talent & an abounding knowledge of her craft. She is a perpetual up-​beat breath of fresh air. She is motivated & ambitious, and it’s completely apparent how passionately in love she is with her profession.
I have curly hair, something that has always troubled hairdressers, and am currently trying to grow it out. Heather understands the way that curls set, fall and move. I could see her anticipating what my hair would do when it dried while she was cutting it & she was spot-​on. It’s almost like she understood my personality so well, that she knew what haircut would suit not only my face, but my entire style & demeanor.
I have gone too long now between hair dyes with her, but you wouldn’t know it. The color is still gorgeous and brilliant & the grow-​out is hardly apparent. I *love* it when a haircut & color grow out well, it’s such a blessing!
Heather is my most favorite hairstylist I have ever had. I give her the highest of recommendations, and then some!

heather just gets it. i don’t know how she does it, but she takes minimal direction and does amazing, new things with my hair. somehow she makes a simple, layered cut look exciting and with enough unique touches to make me feel like a glam girl. her color skills are fantastic too… always just right, she makes it look easy.
i haven’t had her do my hair/​make up myself for a special event, but i’ve seen what she’s does for others and the woman is a true creative genius. she can create the most fantastical, elegant and inspiring do’s and make-​up i’ve seen for photo shoots, performers and costume-​inspired events. the more creativity required, the better she does.
