Great jeans, terrible service. I was in yesterday to pick up a pair of my usual jeans… no one said anything to me until about 5 minutes of me shopping around. Once the girl noticed that I had an armful of denim she asked, «can I get a room started for you?». Not a «hi», «hello», or «welcome». It felt very cold. I brought my items up to the front to pay and all that she said was «do you need a bag… we charge 10 cents.». I will be doing my denim shopping elsewhere. I can get better service from my home computer.

Fun store, cool selection of both trendy and more vintage pieces. They have funky accessories and unique T-​shirts that I haven’t seen in other boutiques. They have a wide range of everything from sundresses to maxi dresses, designer jeans and faux leather. If you’re looking for that SF feel, their clothes have it. Staff have always been friendly and not nosy, which I prefer. Nice vibe.

I really loved this place. I couldn’t even believe such a nice, put together well priced little clothing store was in the streets of «Haight». I mean you know what I mean. They didn’t sell what you usually see around. But WOW what a great store. i got jeans at $ 48, plus a cute dress at $ 37. AWESOME!!! The handbags here are soooooooo awesome! I could have walk away from this place with 20 items, but hey. i was with the fan ;) I will return for sure!

I really like this store, its super trendy and they have really nice women’s clothing. More like 3.5 rating.
1. Good price point, some of their jackets and what not can be around $ 100 but they are really good quality and brands like Tulle, BB Dakota, and Jack.
2. Super trendy — seriously a great place to find the latest fashion and what not. Totally a good place to find some clothes.
3. As I said, they have a great selection of clothes. but the service isn’t so great. I am giving it a good rating because I like the clothes and what no. but there aren’t a lot of people working here at one time, and no one offers to help you shop around for things. The problem is that the clothes are super cute, and they have super cute bags.
4. Great selection of bags — like clutches and totes and what not. Good prices too.
5. The jackets — good selection of jackets and blouses
6. They advertise a sale on the front of the store, but its a pretty small selection. and not that great.
Honestly, its a good store to go to when shopping in the area. It’s not somewhere I would go to and be like I can’t wait to see what new things they got in. HOWEVER — the clothes are super cute! If the customer service was better, I would definitely rate this place higher. But definitely go here if you’re in the area and for an opinion for yourself… I would definitely come here if I wanted some trendy clothes that were not too expensive… but its not a place I would go super out of my way for.

This place was love at first sight. Most other boutiques on the street are small, crowded, and never carry the sizes I’m looking for (not to mention pricey). But when I walked in randomly and browsed around on a Sunday afternoon, I was amazed to find so many cute items! The shop itself is spacious and has plenty of fitting rooms downstairs, and the way that they arrange the clothing racks makes it easy to find what you want. Lots of Lush items, which is a plus if you love the brand like I do :)

My sister and I stopped in here on a quiet afternoon lured in by some cute clothes in the window. When we walked in we were not only NOT GREETED but were given dirty looks by the female African American sales associate. She walked by us not once but 4 times without acknowledging us even though she clearly had seen us walk in and clearly saw us with clothes we wanted to try on in our hands. Her rude demeanor and unhappy attitude made us put the clothes down and walk out of the store vowing to never return again.
Note to owner: I like supporting small businesses and love boutiques but the unfriendly atmosphere and your employee’s unwelcoming glares make me want to RUN AND SPEND MY MONEY AT NORDSTROM, where I know I will be GREETED with excellent customer service!

There are always must have pieces I find at this store. The quality of detail, textile, cuts, and price point are always a win-​win. Prices are reasonable compared to any very well edited boutique in San Francisco. This place definitely beats Behind the Post Office which is down the street (but the free jean hemming service is irresistible).

This is a great shop that has a bit of everything from the latest trends.
There exchange and return policy is 14 days and I really appreciate that since I can sometimes change my mind or realize what I’ve purchased is not quite right.

I loved this store and wish we had one up here in Seattle! The clothes were really cute and the prices were decent. They have a great selections of designers, cute tops, dresses, jeans, and the cutest accessories. If they had shoes i’d be set. I miss you IDEELE!!!

I loved this store. I thought the clothes were really pretty and really well priced. I bought an amazing dress here on sale and they have a great collection of things. The staff were really laid back and friendly, they weren’t pushy or in-​your-​face, which I liked and there was a pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely come back to San Francisco, just for this store!

I passed this store many times without going in, assuming by the boutique-​y feel that it fell outside my price range. What a pleasant surprise! This store has cute stuff and great prices. I love their skinny jeans collection (the brand with something about Monkeys in the name — thumbs up) and typically pay like $ 40/​pair. Can’t beat that, right?

One of my absolute favorites stores in my neighborhood! They have the greatest selection of several different designers and always offer jeans, flirty tops, cute dresses, vintagey stuff and accessories across all price ranges.
The buyer is super nice and really helpful styling when you try on clothes.

First store that caught my eyes and drew me in. It looks more like a boutique you will find on Union or Chestnut Streets.
The space is airy and bright with racks of clothes placed apart enough to have people looking at it back to back without bumping into one another. Pieces are color coordinated into outfits for those who are less creative. The center pole in the store showcase purses and cute accessories — need a rhinestone studded ring that can also hold a picture for $ 15?
There are more purses displayed in cubbies along the wall and upstairs. The register is up some stairs along w/​some vintage reworked tube dresses from the 80’s, some tees and hoodies. The seriously brown shaggy carpet is something… Dressing rooms are just a few steps down from the main floor.
Good selection of clothes at good prices. Oh, there are some sale items on one rack to the right as you enter.

I randomly walked into this store after I did some damage to my credit card down the street at Ambiance and was really pleasantly surprised. They have many different, colorful items arranged in a nice open floor plan. There are at least 5 or 6 dressing rooms down a short flight of stairs, which made trying on very easy. The prices were SUPER CHEAP for an independent boutique of this sort– I bought a great sweater/​jacket type thing for only $ 42. Where can you get a sweater for $ 42, I was amazed. Will definitely come back here everytime I’m in the Haight.

I always find cute, funky clothes here that I don’t see in a lot of other boutiques. A lot of local flavor and great prices! I purchased a pair of jeans and a top down the street at Ambiance the other day and then saw the same items for significantly less at Ideele. The sales-​girls aren’t the most forward, but I don’t care to have someone in my face while I’m trying to shop anyway, plus they’ve always been very helpful whenever I’ve asked for assistance.
Love this place!

I love shopping at this store whenever Im up in SF! They carry some adorable well-​priced clothing lines, that really feel like SF. Clean, a little vintage with a dash of retro. I love the gang of accessories they carry like vintage fabric Kim White fabrics and whimsical cuff by Fulham.
I also love there little $ 1-​$ 2 canisters with colorful headbands and small accessories.

I’ve always thought and found this place to be just another one of those over-​priced Haight stores.
But the other day on closer examination — I was impressed to find that Ideele actually carries alot of affordable clothes as well. While they have plentry pairs of jeans that are well over 100 dollars, they also carry just as cute pairs for 30 – 40 dollars.
I recently bought two pairs of jeans: a cute tight elastic skinny pair of dark demin jeans, and a wide-​legged form fitting pair of hip huggers. I’ve received a plethora of compliments on each, and can’t help, but glow whenever I disclose the actual price for each pair.
Just be warned though that that some of their cheaper darker demin washes may rub off on some of your other clothing. Be extra careful when washing them, and putting them anywhere near white clothes, even before you wash them.

Yes I am a slave to designer jeans, but only because I have not found a pair that look as good until.. .
My girlfriends and I went shopping in the Haight. We were tired of the mall, and we all wanted some cute inexpensive pieces to revamp our look. So we are strolling down the street and we took a chance with Ideele. The first thing that caught my eye was this cute pair of jeans. I look down at the price and.. . 43 dollars. «Are you kidding me,» I thought. We all try them on, and they are adorable. SCORE!!! Great bags too!

Cute purses & some accessories… i wouldn’t buy the clothes here though because its pricey. I found a plain white tank top for $ 50…what the heck is so special about a cotton shirt? I never get it…

Normally I don’t even venture into this store as most of the clothes are quite out of my price range. We’re talking $ 150+ dresses and designer denim. The style is very Haight Street and is similar to the stores next to it on the same block. The design of the store is modern chic but the way the clothes are hung and organized makes it difficult to easily browse. Definitely some cute items but this starving artist knows her credit card’s limits. It’s the kind of store you go into, try on some items and then sigh heavily when you look wistfully at the price tag.
BUT that doesn’t mean you can’t find some great deals in here. You really have to devote some time and luck in the search. Amongst the $$$ clothes, I found a lovely fitted spring trench coat for only $ 42! And they had a great large shoulder bag (which Stuf, a few stores down, also carried) but in avocado green. $ 50! (Same price as Stuf, which is nice to see.)
Not bad not bad, if you’re lucky.
