BART escalator down, coming up on Fremont on Market St. Good for me because I walked by Jack’s Shoe Services and peeked in to see the best selection of A’RCOPEDICO Shoes in the Bay Area. These are the most comfortable walking shoes I’ve ever purchased. I bought two pairs happily. So, if you are in the Financial area, stop in and peak at their great shoe & purse selection. You won’t be disappointed.

Great great great service! I needed my heels fixed (the rubber on one wore down and on the other it broke off). Juan was so professional and sweet. He was able to fix my heels in literally 3 mins :-) I was surprised by the same day service and happy with the results. Plus the price wasn’t bad either. Definitely will be going back and I highly recommend. Thanks again Juan!

I like this place and am a satisfied customer. I’ve bought shoes here (they have a huge selection), I had my old shoes repaired (I was very happy with the results), and I had a few purses cleaned/​dyed (they look like new!).

Jack’s reached out after I posted my original review and offered to repair the shoes again at no charge. This time, they came back just right — the soles look brand new now.

I had them fix my stuart wietzman heels. They were peeling and chipped around the heel. Jacks matched the color perfectly!

Walked in and was immediately greeted by a very pleasant and helpful man, maybe even Jack himself! Only needed some extra holes punched into a belt loop and ‘Jack’ without hesitation took out his leather tool and made the fix. Speedy service no doubt. I will be definitely returning to get my shoes and other leather goods serviced here.

After the shoe guy next to my house disappointed me for the last time, and my shoe guy in West Portal nearly doubled his prices, I was on the hunt for a new shoe rescuer. This place came highly recommended by a friend who worked in the building, so I gave it a shot.
My beloved genuine leather cowboy boots took a beating at a recent festival I’d attended, and the heels were badly worn. I took them in, and they filled in the heel and re-​heeled it within 6 hours, all for $ 19.95. When I picked them up, I had them re-​heel a pair of pumps while I waited. 5 minutes, $ 12.
The next day, I brought my other beloved cowboy boots to be re-​heeled, and they turned that around in 4 hours. I love this place. At other cobblers in the FD, you pay the price for speed. Not this place. Quick, quality work.
I’ve already racked up 5 of my 7 re-​heel credits before I get the 8^th free. I’m sold.

I wouldn’t trust my shoes or bags with anyone else. They are fast, excellent service, and the nicest guys.
I’ve been bringing my shoes here for three years, everything from shoe shines, getting boots re-​soled, to zippers replaced on bags.
I brought a pair of designer heels in that I thought were headed for the trash and they completely restored them for a wedding I was in that weekend. Not only do they do amazing work, but they are fast as well.
I highly recommend the gentlemen at Jack’s on Market!

The guys at Jack’s are awesome. I’ve taken multiple pairs of shoes (boots and heels) to them for repairs or cleaning, and they are always able to help. They provide excellent service and are super fast!

I brought a leather tote to them to get cleaned. They were really nice and the bag came back looking great, BUT it now stains all of my clothes. I would have preferred having a kind of dirty bag to having permanently ruined clothes! So the tote is pretty much unusable until I take it to a new place to clean up the mess that Jack’s left behind. Total waste of money. If you have a bag to get cleaned, look elsewhere!

Came here today because Olajuwan wasn’t in his normal corner and I was in a hurry to get back to the office.
Got a shoe shine. I would rate the shine ⁷⁄₁₀. Everything was good except they don’t put that shine lotion and buff it out with the buff towel like I’ve seen Olajuwan do. Kind of half fast, in my opinion.
$ 7. I think I’ll wait to Olajuwan is in his corner next time.

I am very disappointed with the place. I bought in a new pair of Chloe flats asking them to install rubber sole on top of the original. Those retards took off my original leather heels and replaced them with rubbers. Why would you do that for a perfect fine, unworn pair of flats? Avoid this place at any cost. I’ll not go there again.

Simple shine was quick and easy! Look great and got new laces on my way in to the office.

Fun variety of comfortable shoes, boots & sandals! They are great with repairs on heels, soles, etc.

Meh– came in to get a handbag strap shortened. The gentleman behind the counter asked me how short I wanted it but since I don’t have any knowledge about purse straps, I wasn’t sure on how to gauge it. I told him I wanted it so-​and-​so long and showed him. It just seemed as if I was wasting his time or something.
$ 5 to shorten and punch holes.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would
I had a pair of boots and the soles where detaching slightly (one more than the other).
First the guy at the counter looked at the boots and said it would be $ 35 to have BOTH of the soles glued.
I decided to just get one boot repaired. He gave me back the boot not getting repaired and very quickly and violently ripped back the sole of the shoe getting the repair. Okay… I then got out my wallet and he told me that it was $ 35 for the single boot!
When I protested he simple said that the price he gave was per boot (even though be specifically quoted me for both boots)
I grabbed my ripped boot, left and went around the corner to Galletti Shoe Repair and they only charged me $ 10 with next day pick-​up.

Incredible job!
The price breakdown (after my coupon discount): $ 29.95 for replacing the whole sole with thin rubber, $ 10 for heel repair and $ 10 to shine knee high boots (I’ve got some grommet detailing on the side) I would think it’s a bit steep, but they’re conveniently located in the financial district and can do repairs while you wait. Can’t beat that!
