This service is ok if you decide to use them. In my case when I found out they cannot return your old passport, I cancelled my order in phase 1, expecting I would get a return after I was told my order was indeed cancelled. However, that would be too easy. Apparently you have to call them to ASK for a refund b/​c heavens knows their system would automatically refund you. After getting a auto reply I would see the refund in 3 – 5 business days, nothing happened. Sooooooooooo, I called again to inquire and was told, sorry our accounting office is closed now call back tomorrow or leave a message. I left a message, shocker, no call back. So I have to call again and keep fighting the good cause. If for whatever reason you think you will have to cancel your order, DON’T use this company. Horrendous customer support and even reps with attitude as if it was my problem to track down my refund.

I was very happy with the service. I requested the 3 – 5 day service and it was done on time. They had great customer service and did exactly what they said. If I lived near a passport office I could have done it myself, I’m in Arizona so there isn’t one. The only issue I had, they let me know AFTER I paid that if you have a payment plan with the IRS they might deny your new passport. I did not have any issues and received my passport but it would have been nice to know beforehand.

Even though you will be back home several months before it expires, discovering that your passport needs to be active 6 months from your travel date — which is less than 2 weeks away — is mightily stressful. Finding a solution relieved the panic.
If you get over the walletectomy — it’s kind of magical. The 1-​day service took 2 business days. My accurately completed forms went out mid-​day on a Friday, were received by Monday morning, and my passport was at my door at 10:03 am on Tuesday. Their communication was outstanding; I got email and robo-​call status updates at every step. Amie Figueroa seamlessly managed the process and followed up with me by email. And yet the cost seems so outrageous — $ 170 to the State Dept. is a given — the we-​have-​you-​over-​a-​barrel service expenses of $ 368.85 for the speedy (again, kinda magical) service leaves a lingering sour taste.

The worst experience ever! They screwed up my order, tried to blame me threatening me that they record all phone calls (which I asked for it which then they back pedaled and couldn’t promise to provide them even though they brought it up, cause me in the end to go to the passport agency myself, and cost me an extra $ 1,500.
Oh and to top it off Rush My Passport reached out to Unilocal HQ and had them remove my original post. Complete scammers!
DO NOT USE RUSH MY PASSPORT — you can totally go to the passport agency yourself! Don’t trust Rush My Passport. They will use the fear tactic that you can’t do it yourself. It’s super easy especially if you’re in SF.

The service was great. My daughter only had a temporary passport and Italy doesn’t accept them. My co-​worker recommended this company, so I trusted her. I was really nervous b/​c they ask for so much personal info, but phone contacts were really professional. After getting ALL the paperwork together the night before and calling to get a UPS overnight label, we showed up at our local P.O. (went to 2) and were told they wouldn’t «seal the documents» because she only had a temporary passport and somehow the documents weren’t allowed to be mailed to the passport agency.
We called Rushmypassport and they had never heard of such a thing. The PO recommended we drive all the way up to SF Passport agency ourselves and just wait in line. On the drive up, I called Rushmypassport and told them we weren’t able to use their services, and they immediately sent me to accounting who processed a refund! I was blown away.
It is expensive and I am lucky we only live 45 minutes from the U.S. Passport Agency so I didn’t have to pay much, but I would recommend them to my friends.

In the end, I had to visit a Passport Agency to complete my passport request. I was contacted by RushMyPassport about my review. I did receive an apology about the way my question was handled. We discussed other ideas on how to improve service and visibility to the process. I hope this leads to positive enhancements and future reviewers will not hesitate to give them 5 stars.

My guide Teddy Etienne was the best. had very little trouble getting this task done with the 8 – 12 day option. I actually recieved my passport in 6 days so i was extremely pleased. make sure you follow the directions and you shouldnt have any trouble and dont be afraid to ask your case manager.

It was four days before i was supposed to leave the country — FOUR DAYS… i had what is called a COLD RUSH OF SHT PANIC when i realized that i hadn’t yet taken care of my passport. I could only imagine the horror of having to leave my mom at the gate and send her off alone because her THIRTY-​FIVE year-​old son hadn’t taken care of this minor detail called a PASSPORT!!!
