Jamba Juice

A few weeks ago I called in with a custom, large order request and was helped by Kitty. Her team was fantastic in helping me get exactly what I needed, at a fair price, and faster than I believed would even be possible! A special thanks to her and the rest of her team who helped with my order: Johnny, Chelsey, Jose, and Bri. Thanks!

The counter clerk was so rude. I asked for a large and she gave me one ¾ filled. When I asked for large filled to top they charged an extra dollar. She then proceeded to give the dirtiest looks with the rudest attitude. What happened to our inner sunsets wonderful customer service!?:((((

People are just not having it on a beautiful Saturday here in SF. Literally, clear skies and the sun is out and you just went on this nice run so you decided, lets keep the health kick and grab some Jamba Juice to go. Let’s keep this beautiful day going right?
No. Parking is a bitch here… Which really isn’t why I’m giving this place a one star because it’s the Irving street. Parking always sucks here. I get in, the cashier was rude. Mugged eye and completely didn’t want to care for my order. I also had this card for a buy one get one free and apparently it doesn’t work for that location. Instead of telling me that, she stares at me asking what is this? Really? Just tell me you guys don’t take the card. Is that too difficult to say?
So I get my drink, and I said nicely that I haven’t received my cheddar tomato twist. The cashier curses and said I though I did and when she finally heard it up and gives me my food, no apologizes or anything. Just hands it to me and walks away. Smh. Way to ruin a nice day. Wish I had gotten her name.

I ordered an Acai energy bowl and it usually comes with fresh cut strawberries, bananas, honey, and coconut shavings. After I was done purchasing, the lady that was making my bowl said they were out of fresh bananas and asked if I wanted some frozen bananas instead or more berries. I usually like my fruits to be fresh so I said more berries instead. Afterwards, the lady said they had no more fresh strawberries and said only frozen ones were available … I was disappointed so I told her to just give me frozen bananas and strawberries. When I got the bowl, I realized they didn’t even put the coconut shavings in at ALL. There wasn’t much honey but the brightside about this was that the employees were nice & oh, it was 12pm when I ordered this so they should’ve had fresh fruits since they open at 8am

Someone needs a shot of happy juice … What happened to our friendly, clean neighborhood Jamba Juice? Counter girl was the rudest, surliest I have come across in any food establishment. Packed more attitude and «I’d cut a bitch’» vibe then I’ve ever seen. 15 minutes to get 4 drinks. total chaos and confusion, missing ingredients, horrible communication — with us AND amongst the smoothie makers. I think they were terrified of the register gal also! Top it of with an 88 on their public health score card, and we are now back to making our smoothies at home. Jamba on 9^th is a mess now.

Love Jamba Juice! So good, but it’s a hit and miss and some Jj spots drinks are more delicious than others, why is that? I always pretty much get the PB chocolate love, it’s usually so good at most JJ spots. it was a miss at this JJ spot :(not one of the 4 drinks we received was like at home; all pretty good but not the same mmmm goodness. One star down for that and the other star lost is for, I spent 25 bucks and some change and I could not use a 50 dollar bill what’s up with that, its all I had so my bro had to pay.

Strawberries wild and orange dream machine always come out yummy here at 9^th Ave location. Staff was helpful when we didnt know which acai bowl to get. Made in timely manner so wait times are low.

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst experience at a jamba juice ever! First of all the line was out the door. Not too upset about that seeing as the bogo deal is happening right now. Second, the worker, he seemed kind of new, got all the orders mixed and about 10 drinks were all lined up waiting to be blended however mine was already blended just sitting there. And lastly my drink was received all melted and not even ice blended anymore after my made drink was sitting there for a good 15 minutes. Not coming back to this jamba juice again. Should’ve stuck to going to the one at UCSF.

Jamba gets it right 99% of the time and they are always willing to work with customers who aren’t happy and want a new one. They are made with fruit which naturally has sugar and is sweet, feel free to ignore anyone who complains a smoothie has sugar or is sweet. That’s the point.

Stopped by for a beverage and it was cool. Had a strawberry a smoothie. Yeah. I wanted to get some wheat grass but I had food in hand. Great choice to stop by here. Super busy intersection though. Look both ways before crossing the street because buses, trains, and drivers will HIT YOU and not think twice.

Friendly Staff and fast service. I think their’ hours are wrong on Unilocal,or they change with the seasons. Currently they are open 7am-​730pm. Unilocal said until 9 so I went at 8pm yesterday and stood outside the dark interior looking all sad and stupid in this cold ass weather.

Love jamba juice! Was so happy to go when I was visiting SF.
Unfortunately, when I was there, they had run out of the red juice and didn’t tell me until I had already ordered and paid. I got another one instead but I was disappointed to not get the smoothie that I was craving.
The service was quick after I chose a new smoothie.

LOVE this Jamba Juice. I’ve been coming here for so long and they’ve never disappointed me! Their staff is always so friendly and sweet. The make smoothies fast and even when it’s busy they get everything out in a timely manner. I also appreciate how they remember the regulars and even their orders! & If Patrick is working then you are in luck he’s a smoothie mastermind. Because of you guys my day is always a good one when it starts w/​jamba on Irving!

i’m pretty happy that you guys have a juice choice now but i would definitely like to see more NEKTAR like choices. i need it to be healthier and not as sweet.
i’m looking for a super healthy drink, not somewhere in between

Pretty good Jamba!
I have been here a few times and they usually take my order pretty quickly and don’t take very long to make it.
The orders always come out right and tasting good!
The staff are always nice and friendly and the store itself is clean and organized.
Nothing spectacular though, so only 4 stars from me.

I’m obsessed with acai bowls and Jamba Juice recently started selling them! Awesome! My favorite place for an acai bowl is Blue Hawaii Café in the Embarcadero but it’s way too far and parking is inconvenient there but Jamba Juice’s isn’t half bad (not as sweet as Blue Hawaii’s but maybe some people prefer that). The workers here are always nice and friendly and I’ve seen them with lines out the door on a hot day so prepare to wait!
Btw, this location is always out of bananas … so odd since a lot of their smoothies use them you’d think they’d be prepared for the intake. I went in today for my acai bowl and asked them to not top the bowl with bananas (it’s already blended in the with acai mixture and then they top it with fresh ones — the only way to get me to eat bananas is blended into the mixture — have to have protein! Well they said they were out and this was at 12:30 in the afternoon… there’s still half the day left and you’re out of bananas!!! so odd! BUY BANANAS PEOPLE! Not for my sake but for the other customers, I honestly hate them.

Came in around 1 p.m. on a saturday… today. Ordered 1 smoothie, there were 2 people who were in front of us (no one behind) receiving smoothies as we ordered. There were at least 5 employees at the time.
Waited for 7 – 10 minutes, until I urged my bf to check on it. It’s a smoothie, we all make them at home… it doesn’t take 7 – 10 minutes. (especially when there is only one customer) turns out, they forgot.
Didn’t apologize, also. the employees were fooling around dancing and pranking each other, until they all disappeared in to the back and we were just sitting there (that was when I urged my bf to find someone)
Very immature employees and very unprofessional establishment. Won’t be coming back, manager should pay attention to whom he/​she hires…

One of the original locations and close to home, this store has been catering to both the neighborhood residents and workforce for eons. This corner location use to house a Record Factory, later becoming Warehouse (Best memory was waiting in line at 4 am to score third row seats for Prince’s Purple Rain concert at the Cow Palace!).
During the early 2000’s, this was my daily pre-​work stop for an Orange Dream Machine with immunity. The store probably lost some business from UCSF students and staff since they opened a store on campus.
Came here to use a free 16 oz. coupon on a recent Friday for that dream machine.
As the German soccer team yelled today, «Score!»

Jamba Juice well well
The people who work here seem to always rotate out (college kids or something like that) but they generally seem to hire nice perky people.
If your not feel well that cold buster with vita shot really helps. I gotta learn to stop drinking so fast and get those damn brain freezes.
Im not a fan of their food options or that wheat grass shot.

On a beautiful Saturday morning in San Francisco, my girlfriend and I wanted to grab some baked goods at Arizmendi and explore the area. After breakfast, I needed a pick-​me-​up and had a Jamba card burning a whole in my wallet so it was smoothie time!
I ordered the Strawberry Surfrider, which was unexpected sour. Like, really sour. I found out later that it was made with lemonade, which contributed the tang. Still, it wasn’t bad and I’d get it again on a hot day.
Service was good and the shop is super conveniently located. I don’t get smoothies very often, but it’s a great pitstop on the way to a walk in the park.
