Disclaimer — I grew up in Chicagoland and ate a TON of gyros. Take that for what it’s worth. I’ve only had the(lamb) gyros here. They are just OK. But they don’t come off a spit so the meat is kind of small and crumbly, not the long, juicy strips that make a great gyro. They also come in a burrito style wrap with minimal toppings. IMHO a great gyro should come in a pita and be bursting with onions, tomatoes, tzatziki, ect. You just have to go to Chicago for that I guess. But this place can hit the spot when I’m really in the mood, and they are pretty quick.

This place a good tasting gyro plate, however it was kind of lacking in the meat department. For the price, it was fair but this place is nothing special considering its near my workplace. Go the Halal cart on Market if you want to get more bang for your buck.

Closest place I could find near my work for a gyro. I love Oasis Grill but everything there is with a lavash wrap(thin versus gyro is in a pita.) Kronos has a bunch of items like gyros, sandwiches, bagels, etc. A gyro which included beef, lamb was $ 6.95 and to add fries and a drink is $ 8.95. Totally decent and fast.

I came here for the first time today and ordered gyros(with beef and lamb) and fries to go. Their menu has a pretty good selection of pita items, lavash items, platters, salads and sandwiches. I definitely want to come back and try some of the other items. Service was good. It took about 10 minutes to get our food, which seemed a bit long but it was tolerable since it was lunchtime. My gyro was pretty tasty, but it’s not the best I’ve ever had. However, it was a good size and filled me up. The price wasn’t bad either. I’d say if you’re in the area and craving gyros, this place hits the spot.

I’ve had chicken gyros before and always found the chicken sometimes can get dry and lose its tenderness. When I had a gyro here, the chicken had an excellent taste to it and worked very well with the other flavours. Definitely happy with the gyro and hoping that I get to try some of the other things on their menu. The customer service was great, lady at the counter was quick and efficient about taking my order and asking if there was anything else I’d like. My food order was completed in under a minute but I suspect that was because I came right before the rush. I sat down to eat but beware the shop is really small and has limited seating(and standing room). As I sat, the lunch hour rush came and I observed that people were quickly served(under a couple minutes) and left.

One of my favorite lunch spots in the city. Been working in the financial for 8+ years and this remains one of my favorites. Best gyro in the city. Great customer service who always appreciates your business.

Having worked in customer service for years, I am rarely impressed by the service at other places but the service here is absolutely awesome. The cashiers are always attentive and friendly. Love the egg whites and brown rice scramble(I always get it as a wrap). Good food. Expect a 10−15min wait for things as people pre order a lot.

Tried it for the first time today and loved it. I got the gyro plate– it was all tasty. The guy working the counter was very nice and I got my order very quickly. I will be back.

I ordered a Gyro. Eh, it’s s’ok. GOLDSTARS for their nice staff and the convenience of being located around the corner from where I work. But it’s nothing like Falafel’s Drive-In in San Jose. Therefore, I’m disappointed. Really disappointed.

I’ve only been here once and only tried the gyros but it was damn tasty. I think this is going to be my spot for gyros and other mediterranean lunch eats since it’s only a block away from my office. Star count will go up if they can consistently make my mouth happy.

This Greek take-out spot just opened near my office in the FiDi, replacing one of the multiple Starbucks that were on the same block, and I think that it will be a welcome addition to the local lunch offerings. They seemed to get off to a bit of a rocky start, as the first few days they were open there were very long waits for food, but they seem to be working it out. I tried the Gyros plate, which included a generous helping of Gyro meat, hummus, pita and a side salad. The gyro meat was warm, tender, tasty, was very fresh, and was nicely complimented by the yogurt sauce. The hummus was also very good, especially with some of the hot sauce they provided on the side mixed in. Even the side salad(frequently a toss-away item in my opinon) was pretty good, very fresh with a nice light Italian-style dressing. I will definitely be adding them to my lunch circuit and can recommend others to give it a try.
