You better believe this is among the most authentic antique shops in the world. Mecca for the Arts and Crafts era of marvelous art and design. Magnificently researched, meticulously cared for, like a world class museum. Visit and be rewarded. As inanimate objects these gems will stir your emotions as if they are living, breathing. stunning, articulate creations of humankind.

BEWARE of this lying thief if you are thinking about selling him anything! You would be infinitely better off undertaking the rigors of an Ebay sale, given what a disreputable liar this man was to me. He told me face to face that he would sell my Stickley adjustable back chaise for $ 650 to $ 700. He then paid me $ 350 for it, me accepting his offer, ever so stupidly relying on his integrity (of which, I now know he has NONE!) After spending about $ 50 to recover the cushions, Isak sold the damned thing for $ 2,400. That’s not smart, that’s dishonest pure and simple.

A beautifully curated treasure trove of Arts and Crafts antiques. Nearly every type of decorative and fine art of the period can be found here. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Not a bargain hunters spot, but everything here is all finely crafted work from one of the last periods of thoughtful original craft and design and the furniture and objects here are worth every penny.

Come here to dream. Everything here is ravishingly beautiful, expertly curated, and fine. It is all serious American arts and crafts furniture — the real stuff — the stuff that has literally inspired a million copies. Come here to see what the fuss is about. Everything is expensive, and everything is worth it.

Isak Lindenauer’s is like stepping back in time; unlike many antique stores which mix eras to great effect, this place has a gorgeous array of arts and crafts furniture, textiles and prints, and a small but luscious set of jewelry cases. Not much in the way of rings (my original purpose there), but I was almost convinced to skip the ring and get an engagement bracelet instead when I saw a gorgeous and hideously expensive silver bird bangle. Everything here is beautiful, but nothing is cheap, although the books (often first editions of early craft how-​tos in excellent condition) are very reasonably priced. In fact, how could I turn them down? Don’t worry, I didn’t.
