Easy to work with. Straight up about pricing. Work was well done and in a timely manner. House felt so much better after Maid in SF was there.

I used Maid in S.F. twice. The first time was ok, but I had to re-​vacuum b/​c there were crumbs everywhere. The second time was a disaster, I had to re-​do everything. They were expensive as well.

At least they answer the phone and decent communication. However I strongly suggest anyone who hires them to WALK them through all of your expectations or they will provide a very minimal service and feel fine about it. After my experience, instead of doing the job I originally thought i was getting– I was told «were not on the same page and here is your money back». I was told 3 people for 1 hr, I was given 2 for 1:15 min Spring cleaning does not mean wipe around everything and see ya…
yeah were definitly not on the same page.
Wont be hiring them again.

first time to use Maid in SF. called Ron for an initial estimate, he took down our information and said he would give us an exact est of the bi-​weekly service. we never heard from him, so we emailed him one day before to 1) confirm the appointment for the next day 2) get an exact quote of the services 3) requested that the maids use our cleaning supplies/​vacuum (sorry don’t like used towels, mops and unknown cleaning supplies). we never got an email back or a phone call. so today he ends up showing 25 min late and said his maids are running even later, he then wanted to bring a mop into our house to clean the floors, my wife who was at home told him that we prefer that he use our hepa filtered vacuum cleaner and our supplies– right at that moment he said that our agreement was cxled and that he would not take us as a client. when i called him to find out what happened he started getting upset at me for even asking the question and HUNG UP on me! i called back to find out why he is so upset, he rambled and yelled on about how it takes extra time to train his people to use our cleaning supplies and our vacuum and that if we want unlicensed people to go to market street and hire homeless people to clean our house. i asked him to calm down and state why he didn’t respond to our email about using our equipment. he said that he called my wife and said it was ok to use our vacuum cleaner but not any of the cleaning supplies (this is untrue– he never contacted us via phone or email). this guy has gone off the deep end. i am glad we found this out now before letting this person into our house and giving him any of our money. be careful out there with this company!

The first time I used Maid In San Francisco, they did an amazing job. The girls made my place immaculate. They were efficient, unobtrusive, friendly and completely thorough. They brought their own supplies, did the windows, inside and out, cleaned the carpet and got up all of the grease, dirt, grime and dust that I had accumulated. My kitchen sparkled. The bath tub shined. They had done approximately three times the work that another cleaning service had done for me in the past, and for not much more in price. Everything was spotless and the house had not really been cleaned in over a year. Some areas had actually never been cleaned since we moved in three years ago. They were incredible. They even cleaned the hand mirrors I have on the bathroom counter… both sides.
I’ve now been using Maid In San Francisco for almost two years and the quality of the service has remained top notch. It’s allways been the same three personable, neat and respectful girls. And they’ve never missed any of our regularly scheduled cleaning appointments. Whats really so nice is that they actually remember my special preferences, without my having to leave any written reminders. I am so grateful for their attention to detail and willingness to go that extra mile. I am really very pleased with the way things are going and I would recommend them to anyone, for any project, big or small.

I use Maid In SF off and on and I’m very pleased. It is the same people every time and they remember what I like cleaned and how I want it done. They are very fast and reasonably priced. Getting cleaning appointments is also easy.

Why is it so hard to find a good house cleaner in San Francisco.
We started using Ron and Maid in San Francisco about 8 months ago and were having them come in to clean every 4 weeks. For the first three visits things were great, our apartment looked clean, smelled fresh and was left tidy. Sure there were a few spots that weren’t cleaned well, but we were thankful not to do it ourselves. But then those spots seemed to increase with each visit. One time we came back and the place was filthy — they hadn’t cleaned the toilet, they didn’t clean under the counters, and they didn’t dust the flat surfaces. So we complained to Ron and things were back in tip top shape the next time. Gradually things started to devolve again, but they never got back to supreme dirty levels and we learned to live with the build up of mildew in the shower, a few stray spots on the floor, and a few areas that hadn’t been dusted or vacuumed. See, I’m supremely lazy so I can deal with less than perfection, but then we started to get scheduling snafus. The cleaners would show up on days we hadn’t scheduled. In the latest instance we scheduled the service for 11:30 AM since people would be over prior to that and they decided to come at 9:30 since their previous appointment canceled. There was no warning and when we called Ron to complain, he said he didn’t have my work number to tell me about the reschedule! WHAT? He had my cellphone number and didn’t call that. That’s just poor customer service and bad business. So now we’re looking for someone new, but that’s the game you play in San Francisco when looking for a licensed and bonded housecleaning service.
