This location is very busy. But well done to the employees. There is only 1 cashier, 1 at the back and 1 getting the orders together. They were all focused doing a good job. The wait was not that long considering how busy they are here.

9 mins from printed receipt to delivering fries and a small smoothie… 9 mins not much in real time but in the world of mcdonalds, that’s an eternity! Especially with employees forgetting to put fries into the fryer, supervisor chatting on the side and an empty restaurant with barely anybody to serve… I guess location location location works… else with service like this, this branch would wither and die so fast else where!

Fishermans Wharf and with all the options you go to mcdonalds? Thats a sin given all the options around here — but I wont tell anybody… I did ig too. This probably a comfortable and familiar spot. A place where you can get a $ 1.00 coffee and a bathroom and have a seat after the hour of walking you just did. Maybe you had a really nice sundae at Ghirardelli and need a big mac to wash it down — I wont tell the cardiologist. Shamelessly come in here — you know you want to.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We stopped in here to get a water and use the restroom. The restroom was the worst I have seen in a long time! I mentioned it to the man at the desk and he couldn’t have cared less. You are much better off going to the public restrooms on the pier.

I like the previous staff and look better. New look is crowded and the machines don’t work at all. Staff is rude as hell too, even when you ask them nicely.

Im raising the stars from one stars to four stars because some of the previous employees are back. Im raising the stars because one of the lady in particular always know what my order is(its not science since I always order the same thing) and is very friendly and nice. Today they reopen after a month long renovation. Yes they made the inside more modern and up to date but sadly the new employees don’t do a good job as the ones before the renovation. I ordered a ice coffee, vanilla flavored, with my meal and the lady who made it made it all wrong. The drink looked milky white and just tasted like sugar water, threw it away after one sip. My filet fish sandwich was cold, not even warm. Before I would come here once a week to buy breakfast before work, but now, I think I would rather go elsewhere, even Jack in the Box sounds better now.

Fast Food? Not on a regular basis. Especially when the old man who can barely here is working. There have been times where i have been the only one in line. I know, that’s a rarity, but still, its happened a few times and still i waited over 20 minutes for my food. The only time they are fast is at breakfast time. and even then good luck wading through the homeless that are dumping change on the counter attempting to buy one thing, or the tourists in front of you in line that can’t decide what they want and decide to hold up the line for as long as possible. The Food is the same as any other Mickey Dee’s but. the prices are higher than some and lower than others. Oh and good luck at 2 in the afternoon when the place has a line out the door. Usually there are massive lines. You be better off going to subway as the line moves much faster.

We were in the area so we decided to stop and have a cup of coffee and use the free wifi to check emails. This is a jam pack place so be prepared to wait to get a seat. Seems like everyone had the same idea on the day we were there. You can’t beat the coffee. It is delicious, hot and the senior price is $.69. Great coffee and free wifi, you can’t beat that.

First of all, we entered a line which turned out not to be a line, but rather a bunch of people waiting for their orders. Unbelievably slow service followed in the actual(one and only) line; just no excuse for it. 15 minutes before we ordered. It wasn’t even busy. Then a further 5 minute wait for the food(simple orders). Then cold food. So much for fast food! There appeared to be only one toilet… We decided we daren’t use it.

I believe that personal hygiene and cleanliness is a fundamental practice in ANY food institution being a fancy or fast food restaurant. This place lacks that; food servers had dirty nails, scratching hair, blowing noses then touching food… Yuck yuck yuck!!!

Cashier: «Total is $ 9.21.» Me: «No, I just wanted the sandwiches, not the meals.» Cashier: «That’s right.» Wow — I know its been some time since I stopped at McDonalds for a breakfast sandwich so this may not be a shock for others as it was for me. I can understand $ 4 for a McMuffin at the airport but in the city I was expecting about $ 2 – 3. But maybe its just this location since it is located in the heart of the touristy part San Francisco. Or maybe its just the city… Other than the prices, the service and restaurant were as expected for one located in the city. I will be picking up something from a deli or the likes in the future. Same prices but at those places I feel like they are a bit fresher.

I love McDonalds… lol Its cheap and fills the tummy! This location quite busy as its is in the touristy area of the wharf. The service is fast and the server were decent in deal. The seating is pretty nice but the place wasnt that clean. I loved their sigh as they have half a burger coming our

I once saw a guy dressed up like a Bounty Hunter patronize this McDonald’s. He was very big, white, with a shaved head. He was wearing all black; his black, military-like leather vest sported a patch on the breast pocket that read«Street Ready» and he had a pair of handcuffs attached to his belt. The food is like normal, engineered-to-be-shamefully-delicious McDonald’s food. However, as I work in the neighborhood, I have noticed that the weirdest of the weird tourists go to this McDonald’s. That’s a selling point in my book.

Came in around 10pm and place was clean and run well. Fast service and hot food. Nothing like an american hamburger after a week of fish and chips, and clam chowder.

Came here to get an iced coffee. Parking here sucks quite a bit, but hey, you’re in the Fisherman’s Wharf area. The traffic in here is quite the war zone. I felt I was in an Asian nightmarket. The 1 thing that sets this location apart? Some cool art of the Golden Gate Bridge on the wall. I can’t say I’ve seen this artwork at any other location. In any case, the iced coffee hit the spot and felt good. However, I would recommend enjoying your food and drink outside, as there is simply way too much traffic.

I’m not reviewing the food because really they all taste the same at every Mickey D’s in the world. I am giving it 4 stars for alternate menu items that you can’t find at any MD’s but here! We dropped by for a snack and I found out that they were offering their version of the Java Chip Frappucino. They also sell ice cream cones hand dipped in Magic Shell. Prices are reasonable considering the neighborhood. One drawback — they do not automatically offer napkins. I had to go back to the counter and ask for them. If you find yourself on the Wharf and are on a budget, come here and try the menu items that you can’t get anywhere else!

This place does not even deserve a star! I ordered a mcchicken, large fries, and a sweet tea and I specifically told the cashier that I DONOT want the meal and the bill came out to almost $ 9 dollars. You got to be kidding me right, I usually order the same thing and it only cost $ 4.59 im not coming back here ever again because the staff here rip you off. I am talking my business to In-N-Out next time!

The McD’s at Fisherman’s Wharf is probably the most efficient and well operated store in the city. The staff is always trying to keep the space clean, and management has zero tolerance for aggressive panhandling. Service and food quality are usually excellent. It’s possible that this place is a franchise. Why come here instead of going to In-N-Out Burger a few blocks away? Because McD’s fries are the best.
