Of all the times I decided to have McDonalds, it was a day there was egg shells in the Egg McMuffin. I suppose I should look at the glass half full and admit that it’s actually a good thing that McDonalds uses real eggs for their Egg McMuffins, but that just ruined what would have been a quick and relaxing breakfast.

Average MCD. Location is very convenient, being right next to the court/police station. If you’re just setting an trial date, and there’s no parking anywhere, you could be cool like me and park here, buy some food, eat it, then go into the court: D

My car was hit while parked in their parking lot. Not only would the manager do nothing but point me in the direction of the police department, but admitted that there were no security cameras in their parking lot.(???) In an area like this, security should be only ONE of their #1 concerns. The safety of their customers should be the other. Both inside & outside the building. Making money, and screwing customers, should NOT! If a person walking through their parking lot had something stolen, would they be responsible? What if they were injured? At what point does McDonald’s take responsibility? A stabbing? A death? Where did they draw the(blurred) line of responsibility? Because McDonald’s was too cheap to add security cameras, with several past incidents on their private property, I am forced to go through my insurance company and pay my $ 500 deductible. I may be losing $ 500, but they are losing a customer. And hopefully with this Unilocal! review, they will lose a few more! Join me in boycotting this McDonald’s until they take responsibility of proper security measures, both inside and outside of their«private property».

Always a ton of sketch characters in the area due to it being next to the court/jail– but service is always consistent, and employees always seem on top of the sketch stuff.

if you need a place to pee, this is it the crowd can be a bit rough here, some were just released from the jail next door

McDonald’s here has a large parking lot all labeled for the exclusive use of Mcdonald’s patrons only. notice on door indicates instant towing should violation of said rule is observed. noticed McDonalds inside has less than 10 patrons while parking lot is packed. drink: «non sweet» sweet tea(1) –nasty, sweet taste from aspartame? aftertaste, drips: –quick service, no lines. semi smile.

At first glance, this place looks like it could be one of those«reject» McDonald’s. It’s right next to the police station, jail, and a whole bunch of bail bonds offices. But, this McDonald’s is surprisingly very good. The facilities are clean, and more importantly, it tastes like a McDonald’s should. That might seem obvious because of McDonald’s strict quality control and obsession with consistency. But I’ve had my fair share of not-so-great franchises. This one is as good McDonald’s could be. 5 Stars.

Worked for a quick meal after a day of delivering stuff. Remember, this location has no drive-thru so be prepared to park a bit. About average for any McDonald’s. They have their own parking lot thank god!

Not the most attractive McD’s I’ve ever visited. We were in the area and Hubby wanted to go to a ‘drive thru’ McD’s. This place has no such thing. It’s right next to the Hall of Justice and police cars are nearby. The place is in need of some remodeling. It’s the place to find weird looking people. A woman with a huge green tomahawk hairdo came walking in and a group all dressed in black like something out of the movie, «Matrix» with hipster hats walked in too. Food’s OK, not great. My filet of fish tasted dry. The McNuggets were not as crispy as you’d get at other McD’s. I guess the police officers nearby keeps this place in business.

Parking lot messy with no availability when criminals are in court. Bathroom disgusting w homeless everywhere ! Don’t leave car there for 850 Bryant court cuz employees write down license plates. McD employees don’t call SFPD re: homeless or loitering even tho Sfpd is right next door ! Customers continue to feed homeless drug addicts & jail birds hanging out for next French fry fix before getting high. Watch ur car & wallet there… Sfpd is too busy & don’t care.

Sketchy does not even begin to describe the area McDonald in, I’m not sure why a franchise with one down here unless you’re planning on hiring a transient population. However to my surprise this place actually got my order correct so that’s a plus one. But while waiting for my order I went to check the facilities as well as the surrounding area if I can find a place to sit but thing is if you sit down here you better go get yourself tested for HIV and other diseases after you leave

The girls who work there are super nice, but it’s in a really sketchy part of SOMA, and there is no drive thru

My sole purpose every Tuesday during lunch is to eat at this place at this location. Why? because they are well organized and efficient in their service and the quality of their meals are great compared to other McDonalds who would make your food like like crap and inedible. The service is just great overall and that is why I rated this restaurant very high. Yeah McDonalds is crappy and unhealthy etc but if you enjoy eating their foods and not be worried about what others think eat your heart out kid…

We Americans can all bond through our love of shitty fast food as well as how much we hate jury duty(but yeah, know the importance of civic duty, appreciate the innocent until proven guilty, etc.) There you are doing jury duty next door. Lunch is short. And you need to eat, so hello McDs. Now you are standing in line with who is probably the family of the accused, the attorneys, and a bunch of people who work at the court, maybe even a few cops, and probably the bail bond guys too. And a bunch of homeless guys, and maybe a couple of angry people who are talking about how they couldn’t get their parking fines reduced. Everybody is getting French fries because they know it’s the best thing on the menu. So 2 stars– both for the French fries which are totally incredible. I almost want to add a star just because the conversations you overhear in line here are so unusual, and because French fries make jury duty better.

As I was walking down 6th street, I suddenly had a desire to put a smile on my face. It had been a long day and I was craving for some fries. When I opened the door, my face imploded with the stench. I hate to be mean to homeless people but their body odor + food makes me want to give up and die. I pretended to have forgotten something and rushed out the door so no one gets offended. Never coming back to this place.

This McDonald’s is busy but they blow through their lines and always get my picky order right. It is as good as a McD’s located directly next to a court house can get.

Always busy, very busy. Am employee works continuously TRYING to keep the place clean. Parking lot ONLY for clients — they will put a ticket on your car if you park there and walk away. Tables outside — very unusual in this area of homeless etc.

Decent McDonald’s to visit for breakfast, lunch or a quick grub. If you work nearby and you want to grab a quick lunch, then this is one of the eateries to go to. The service is okay and some of the staff members are friendly. Hungry for something to munch on, this is your pit stop eatery before getting on US-101, I-80 or I-280.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a Shamrock Shake! This seasonal drink is ONLY available this month(I’ve been told that every SF McD’s location should have it by now until April 1st — Normally only found outside the city, first time in decades!) that is being used as a fundraiser for charities: 25 cents from every sale will help support Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bay Area. Introduced in 1970, it’s a vanilla milkshake mixed with a green minty syrup. Like some people would say«An oldie, but a goodie.» Not old enough to have seen the original, but I like this type of food items from that past. Too bad there’s no marketing or ads about the offer anywhere, so for now very few people know about it. This store is located next to the Hall of Justice, so you’ll often see cops, lawyers and their clients, and jury duty people during the day. It has a large parking lot in the back(no drive thru), so it’s a convenient stop if you’re driving towards the I-280 ramp. Service was friendly and the place is clean, no complaints. The milkshake was excellent. The reason for the 3-stars rating is simply to recognize that fast food is not the healthiest food choice. Hours: M-F 5:30am-10pm, Sat 6am-10pm, Sun 6am-9pm.

Many of you know that I love the Golden State Warriors. Especially this year’s team being so exciting, entertaining and having playoff expectation. Every time when the Warrior’s score at least 100 points, which seems like every game and the games that I and/or the four of us attended, the staff from Oracle Arena handed out free complimentary coupon from McDonalds and the Golden Sate Warriors for«one free Big Mac Sandwich.» The coupon is usually valid for up to one month and can be used at any participating Bay Area McDonalds. And since I’m assed-out, I immediately made use of the coupon for lunch at this McDonald location, which is not far from my office. I usually don’t dine at the famous fast-food chain, but a Big Mac, which contains two beef-patties, lettuce, American-Cheese, chopped onions and the Thousand Island sauce, now costs nearly $ 4.00. Wow, that is a lot of money for one of the first fast-food burgers. However, I did buy a yogurt parfait, which is one of their one dollar items. Like I aforementioned that I’m assed-out, yeah spending big bucks to watch sporting events including my Golden State Warriors most definitely put a huge dent in my wallet. Just as long as my team wins and excites me and other fans in the Bay Area, it makes my huge spending much worth its while. And obtaining free items, including the free coupon is an added bonus treat!
