This is a review for the laundromat now known as «bubble up «there are new owners and they are doing a pretty good job of cleaning this place up they keep it nice and clean. There are 3 bigger washers and just today I saw they are putting new washers in but if you want hot water you have to pay 25 cents extra !!! I hope they replace some of the dryers as I have had scorch marks on some of my clothes from the dryers overheating

I live right nearby, and I use them for basically every dry cleaning need of my wife’s or mine, and for all my wash-and-fold laundry. I’ve never been disappointed. Also there’s a fun little dog to play with. Okay, he yaps a lot, but whatever, I like Simba anyway.

We asked them if they could clean a hat without damaging it. They said yes so we gave it to them. The hat came back destroyed. First, she denied it was damaged. It felt like it was the Twilight Zone or something as the hat was laying crushed and flat on the table right in front of us. Then she said it wasn’t her fault. After much complaining she offered that b/c we’d been there many times she’d refund the cleaning fee for the hat. Goodness. How nice of you given that you just destroyed my $ 80 hat and won’t even admit it. I’m done with them. I’ll have to walk much further but better to deal with an honest person.

So, in my humble opinion, I would probably ignore the old reviews from 2011 and past. My boyfriend and I have been using this cleaner for the last two years, and they have never let us down. He gets all his suits done here, and I bring in whatever cocktail dress I have usually spilled some sort of lip gloss/oily food on. They have always gotten all the stains out, and never ruined an item. There prices are pretty good for the area. I have nothing bad to say!

they ruined my favorite $ 90 white sweater that I only got to wear once, for 3 hours. I would give them one star, but they are friendly and my boyfriend seems satisfied with their wash and dry service. HOWEVER, I only had one SMALL stain on the sleeve of my sweater, and when I got it back, it had stains all over the collar, both sleeves and back of the shirt. I don’t understand how a dry cleaning service can make stains WORSE! I feel bad for giving a bad review, but you should know better than to ruin clothes when it is supposed to be your job to improve them.

This was the one time I thought I would try this place since it is one block from my house. What a mistake. I brought my husband’s shirts to be cleaned, picked them up and brought them home and put them in the closet. My husband went to wear one today and there were two huge bleach spots on one arm. So I swung by to show them the shirt and the response was wrong. First she told me the spot had been there from the time before last(although there hadn’t been one as this was our first visit) and then she told me she took a picture on her phone and showed me a picture of someone else’s shirt. She didn’t care that this had happened and was not apologetic at all. Very disappointing. Won’t be going back.

Incompetent. Unable to clean a spot out of a shirt, upcharged me for what they called«deep cleaning» to no avail. Do not take anything special here, you are hereby warned!

I absolutely adore this place and the service that run it. My clothes are always done on time and pressed perfectly. If they something wrong(rip, loose button) they just fix it! This is the one of the best dry cleaners in San Francisco, hands down.

I really have to give props to the people that own/run this store. They have super excellent service and are genuinely nice people as well. We are from out of town staying in the city this weekend for a wedding and needed a cleaner to steam/press our clothes due to the fact that they were wrinkled during our flight over here. We turned to Unilocal to find a good place to take our clothes to as we needed a quick turnaround on them. We called them and even though they were closing that day they said to still come by as they were going to be there a little longer. Luckily we were in short driving distance to this place from our hotel. So we headed over there really quick and dropped off our clothes which they said they would be able to take care of for us by the next day! We came back the following day and sure enough they had our clothes, cleaned and nicely pressed. You don’t know how grateful you are for fast quality service when you really need it and you’re away from home. This place are super nice and it didn’t seem as if what they charged us for their service was adequate payment as their service far exceeded their price. If I lived here I would drive across town to take my dry cleaning to them.

CAVEATEMPTOR. Ming’s Cleaners is an exhibits incompetence in dry cleaning and laundered services. As supporting local businesses is important to us, we gave Ming’s a number of tries. The problems: Ming’s was unable to dry clean a milk stain(given 2 tries); Ming’s tried to clean food off of a shirt resulting in a white residue they place on a shirt(attempted to clean 2 times); Ming’s continually looks over stains(despite using the red tape indicators, multiple times on laundered shirts). These issues were discussed with the owner, the response to our challenges was absolute apathy. Please note: another dry cleaner was able to correct Ming’s repeated incompetence on the two items mentioned. If you have clothing which is of value to you, we highly suggest you avoid Ming’s. In fact, run away quickly. If you simply need a shirt(with no stains) to be laundered and starched, they are probably fine.

How does this sound: You dial a dry cleaner, they drive to your house and take away your dirty clothes. About 48 hours later, you get a call saying your clothes are ready, and a man brings your clean clothes back to your house, and then does not charge a delivery fee. This is what happened to me when I used this place. I have a small baby and street parking on a very steep hill at my apartment, so just a trip to the cleaners is a huge ordeal for me. If only every business offered this kind of service! The best service ever! Super recommended!

I am one of those people who are a bit shorter than they wish they were. Coming in at 5’4″ and ¾ inches,(hey they ¾ is very important) most pants tend to drag at my ankles or worse scrunched up on the ground. Probably every pair of jeans and slacks I own are too long unless I am wearing heels. All my life I have accepted this fact. Thanks to Ming’s Dry Cleaner I no longer have to give in to the slack appearance dragging slacks give ones self. I can get them all hemmed for 10 bucks and in less than 24 hours! The people are nice and efficient. I recommend them highly especially if you just need a quick hem and like me are too darn lazy to do it yourself. I feel a new lease on life coming!
