The lomo saltado and french fries are delicious. Tony is super nice and the environment is chill. It’s a cool spot to hang out!

Fantastic little café run by Tony who is about the nicest guy you’ll meet. There’s always coffee ready, the breakfast sandwiches and bagels are delicious, and the fresh squeezed orange juice is probably the best I’ve ever had.

I absolutely love this little spot. Tony makes great food! My favorites are the turkey sandwich(get it with really good french fries!), a bagel with tomato and avocado, and the smoothie. I never ask what’s in the smoothie– berries and OJ, I think– but it tastes SOGOOD and it’s a great price. Great café, even great person running it(Tony really is the best!).

Excellent feta tomato omelette which comes with toast and rosemary potatoes. Paul is really nice and his customers love him. It really feels like cheers. Will definitely be back.

I have been going to this café for a couple of years. The omelettes are good. But I just went there this morning to pick up some breakfast take out. I was very sleepy-eyed. I’m friendly with the owner Tony and have even hung around and kicked it with him many times and had several conversations. So I payed for my food with my credit card. On my way out, It occurred to me that I wanted a *little* bit of coffee. I asked if I could just a teensy bit of cup of coffee(you have to pump it yourself at a counter). And he said No, you have to pay for it.” I was like«What? I just paid $ 22 for two omelettes and I can’t have a few drops of coffee??». So I’m not going back there again. BOOO! I wasn’t asking for a capuccino or anything And since he’s just down the street from me, I’m going to stop in and tell him he’s lost a LOYAL customer. I basically wanted a *shot* of coffee. And the omelettes are over priced anyway. There’s another place nearby where I can the same thing and the same quality and pay $ 12 instead of $ 22/ ONEDAYLATER: I stepped into this stupid and dismal café as I was walking by and told the owner Tony how hurt I was because it was so petty he that he had to charge me for a couple of squirts of coffee that I’d have to serve MYSELF. And I’d been a LOYAL customer for a couple of years! The café was empty and he was acting like he was SO busy. He said he’d get in trouble with his boss if he let me have some coffee for free(and keep in mind, I’d just spent $ 22 for two omelettes). Yet, he’d previously told me that HE was the owner. He ordered me to leave(which I did) and I was surprised because I was being so civil. The coffee is BAD anyway. AND, the last time I was there to PICKUP my order, the food was on the counter and I wanted to simply pay for it and walk home. But Tony left me waiting at the counter for 5 minutes while he was doing something on his phone.

Amazing place! So much respect for the owner Tony in being able to multi task and take care of everything at once. I love how he fries the house potatoes, they are so crispy yet dry and not a lick of dripping oil. The pollo chicharron is to die for! You must order it if you ever go! And somehow he always manages to give you an extra goody like a cookie or pastry on your way out. All for supporting local business and hard working people like Tony!

Thought I’d try out a new breakfast place while my mom was visiting and looked at the Unilocal reviews, sounded like a good place but wasn’t quite what we were expecting. Okay food and okay service, probably won’t be back.

I chime in with the rest: Tony is a real charmer, in a quiet, nice-guy way. He’s Asian-American, but he speaks Spanish like a pro. The folks in the neighborhood love him. I live around the area, and while there are many good coffee places in the neighborhood, My Corner Café is the closest one to me. I go there for my mocha coffee fix, and have yet to try anything else. I take a peek at the food being eaten around me when I’m there though, and it looks delicious! The regulars seem loyal to this place. I’ve recognized a number of them in my many visits here. That in itself is a good indication of the quality and great company My Corner Café provides.

We came in from San Diego early and the kids were hungry for breakfast so we Unilocaled breakfast restaurants and found this little gem! When we drove up to it we weren’t quite sure about the spot so I had my husband scope it out first. So happy we decided on this little café! The place was simple but quaint and like many of the reviews say-quiet. But who cares? The food was delicious! They definitely have regulars who knew their routine! Loved that everyone knew Tony-apparently the owner. I love supporting a small business that works hard to please their customers and neighborhood! We can tell this is a neighborhood spot that people adore! :-) So happy we chose this place. Wish we lived closer so we can hang out at this place more often! ;-) This time Unilocal worked!

This is my go to for a healthy lunch in Mission. Tony is the BEST. No joke like a real chef(may or may not be true but his food will make you think so!). The food here is always fresh, flavorful and made from quality ingredients. So yummy. I regularly get the prosciutto salad which is always delicious and has lots of veggies in it. One day the unthinkable happened. Tony was OUT of prosciutto. He suggested chicken instead. I grudgingly accepted the offer. Oh my, the chicken was STELLAR! I never looked back! Sometimes you have to wait to get your food, I usually call ahead and sometimes still have to wait — but it’s just him working there and he gets quite the rushes. So be patient — it’s worth it. Tony you rock!

I love this place! The coffee is always fresh and hot, the atmosphere is laid back, and Tony always has a smile on his face! His breakfast bagels are delicious(try the ham, egg and cheese on sesame!). :D

Been meaning to come here. Finally went this morning. My omelet with shallots, bacon, mushrooms and cheese was actually fantastic(a little too much oil). The food took a while to prepare, but the owner was nice. The place was sort of quiet — my friend and I felt a little odd chatting. My friend loved his little bagel sandwich too.

I’ve been coming here late morning to midday for several days now to use the free wifi and perform my job search(free wifi is a decent speed). It is a nice, quiet environment, great for getting work done with few distractions. The owner even let me take a phone interview there! Food is good, but not exemplary. Coffee is your average cup of joe. The owner and cook Tony is a nice, mild-mannered guy and the café definitely reflects his personality. From what I can tell, the clientele includes a lot of regulars, mostly blue collar men coming in on their lunch break who talk to Tony, eat their lunch, and get going. I wouldn’t say it’s worth the trek across town just to come here, but if you are in the Mission or the area, want a break from the hipster crowd, or want a good place to get some work done, it’s definitely worth checking out. More people should come here.

A colleague and I stopped by this café since our office has just relocated. It’s nothing fancy but it’s a nice quiet place to grab lunch. We ordered the BLT and Spinach Salad which I thoroughly enjoyed. My only«complaint» was that I asked for no mayo but got mayo in the sandwich. I made do and used the roll(served with salad) as my sandwich bread. The cashier/barista/cook/owner(??) was very nice and I was impressed with his Spanish speaking skills. Everyone that came in seemed to know him on a first name basis so I thought that was pretty rad. I’ll be back for sure. Oh and they have free WiFi… awesome!

I would like to introduce you to MY corner café. Nothing fussy. Never too crowded. Fast friendly service and really tasty food. Luck would have it that I discover this place. Now that I have experienced Tony and his magical barista skills… I don’t know of any other place to go. Plus he has an extensive menu that covers all the basics, so you will certainly find something to fill your belly.

This place is awesome. Great breakfast sandwiches(they got provolone cheese sucka) and good coffee! I hear they have free wifi too, but I’m not really into surfing the web in public, as watching porn seems to bother some people. Particularly my roommates. Anyway, off the beaten path, and really a great experience.

I continue to love this place… Tony the owner pays close attention to what you like, remembers your name(often after the first visit!), and makes delicious breakfast/lunch fare. For a quiet café with wifi AND electrical plug-ins, you just can’t go wrong with My Corner. Be sure to check out the chicken caesar salad — fantastic stuff! :) This place is especially good for bringing a big group — there’s enough room to spread out, Tony doesn’t mind a little rearranging of tables and chairs, and you won’t find a more delicious set of omelette options. Mmmmm, shallots. ok — go!

Tony is indeed a charmer. Wasn’t seeing the personality as much at the start, but it came out as he was taking my order and ringing me up. Nice guy. Nice sandwich too, more turkey than expected. Add in toasted wheat bread, free wifi and a seat in cool retro blue leather chair by the window, and it’s not a bad way to spend a rainy afternoon.
