This *UPDATED* review is overdue. At least 3 – 4 months but with my last visit it was traumatizing, and very disappointing. I ordered tea(forgot what kind) for to go! They had a trainee on board that day and it took FOREVER. It felt like 20 min. Minimum. Anyway, as I leave, now rushing, the whole entire thing spills all over my hand and arm. I ended up going to the ER that day which cost me a ridiculously pricy hospital bill. I was so upset — for the most part the lady offered me ointment and an ice pack, but that doesn’t change the fact I gained a 1st degree burn from the SLOWCUSTOMERSERVICE that day. With that being said– I’m not coming back here again. I still have the burn scar til this day.(and the pics to prove it.) Sorry NOT Sorry.

My friend and I each purchased a Groupon because it is close to our office. Here is the low down: White Mocha: Very sweet, nothing great. Latte: Ok, but nothing special. Vanilla Latte: Tastes exactly the same as the White Mocha. Blueberry Muffin: Costco(nuff said) Sesame Bagel: Not toasted great and chewy. Posh Bagel offers many more options and a much more delicious bagel for $ 2.49. This is definitely NOT the place to purchase baked goods. **Note: Groupon users, you cannot take advantage of any specials when using your Groupon. You will be charged full price.(So whats the point) Also their menu is deceiving. The prices are not accurate and they do not carry 12 oz. cups for cold drinks. Overall: Why go here when there are plenty of wonderful coffee shops, corporate and not corporate with much better coffee and pastries for the same or cheaper prices? I cannot wait to be done with our last two Groupons… Maybe next time we will try the Red Velvet or Pistachio drinks as they seem to be more popular.

This spot is located in an easy to miss location but if you walk slowly and if you paid attention to where you are going, then you’ll find this spot! They have crazy latte flavors! I’ve tried there pistachio and banana nut latte and they were delicious! The red velvet latte was a little too sweet for my liking but that’s just me! For cold drinks I love their Pistachio Frappuccino! They also have soy and almond milk for lactose people like me! Their hot links are also delicious too!

I tried the pistachio latte based all Unilocal reviews… Was so so… Nothing great, couldn’t smell the pistachio in the latte…

Came here because of a Living Social deal, but I think I still overpaid. The people running the business are super nice, but the food/drinks are just so so. A flavored latte of 12 oz costs ~$ 4.25 and an 16 oz cost ~$ 4.95, that’s quite pricey for a subpar cup of lukewarm coffee. I got the white hazelnut latte since I read great reviews about it. Not only was it lukewarm, it was also very very sweet, without much coffee umph to it either. I wanted to order something with protein, so I order a breakfast biscuit with sausage. The lady helping me seemed so confused, and I repeated my order 3 – 4 more times. I finally said, «it’s on your menu, word for word breakfast biscuit with sausage!». A young man came out to tell me that they don’t have that available. So I ordered a burrito beef with cheese, and he proceeded to tell me he didn’t have that either. He goes on to say that all the items under«sandwiches» are frozen and they are completely out of them. Wow. I ended up getting banana bread and a plain croissant. Croissant tasted at least a day old, banana bread was just alright. If you like very sweet banana bread, you’d like it. Disappointed, so much for reading Unilocal reviews before committing to it. Unfortunately, won’t be back again.

I had a Living Social voucher and I really wanted to like this place but alas, I don’t. I tried the red velvet mocha. It was ok. It was crazy red but I noticed it wasn’t piping hot. More like microwaved warm which made it ok to drink right away but it didn’t feel like espresso to me. I asked for banana bread only to find out at work that it was marble pound cake. Oh well. But then I asked for chocolate chip cookie(which was big because it comes with three) only to find out its oatmeal raisin! Whaaaaat!!! Those darn raisins! I was seriously bummed out. The man in the booth was so nice and sweet but two messed up orders and semi warm mocha is a deal breaker for me. If you go there, get the voucher. It’s too bad.

As soon as I saw pistachio latte, I knew I had to try it!(I have a love for all things pistachio) I ordered a regular pistachio latte and bf ordered red velvet latte. Mine was sooooo good. You could definitely taste the pistachio! It was a tad on the sweet side, but that was to be expected. The red velvet was good as well, but too sweet for me personally. The girl was super nice and friendly. And they accept credit card!

I found a Red Velvet Latte spot in the FiDi! I have been wanting to try a Red Velvet Latte ever since I have seen pictures of it on Unilocal, but I couldn’t find it anywhere in the mornings during my working weekdays when I direly need my caffeine fix… Until one day, I decided to take an alternate route and this little hole-in-the-wall popped along! It was to my delightful surprise! Their Red Velvet Lattes tastes like red velvet indeed! It was a sweet treat for the morning while getting my caffeine fix on! They also have Pistachio Latte, Nutella Latte, Banana Nut Latte and many more interesting lattes that sounds enticing enough to try! It’s Never Too Latte!

Bottom line: convenient caffeine, usually zero wait. This place is essentially a kiosk(no seating, no interior, just a coffee kiosk in the side of a building) that serves up decent drinks. I have had their muffins and other breads but they are nothing better than ordinary. The staff are incredibly nice and that makes a for good morning when you are having a case of the Mondays. I’ve got nothing bad to say about this place but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone more than a block away from its location. You come here for convenience and no waiting.

For the past three weeks my morning ritual has been to walk over to Never Too Latte Café. I love the flavored specialty organic coffees which you can either get as a latte or a mocha. My favorite flavors: ~Red Velvet Latte ~Banana Nut Latte ~Nutella Latte ~White Chocolate Hazelnut Latte wow this is amazing ~Pistacchio Latte — my all time favorite, and I ask for extra pistachio syrup They have various choices for organic teas, coffee and hot chocolate. They have breakfast burritos, sandwiches, muffins, scones, biscotti, bagels and cookies. They even have hotdogs and sausages. They have so much to offer despite the tiny kiosk space they have at the corner of Royal Exchange. The ladies behind the counter are such sweethearts too! Love this place. Only drawback is a medium 16 oz. cup is $ 4.95 and a small 12 oz. cup is $ 4.25 ouch. I would still come here though because it is a small one stop shop for snacks and coffee anytime of the day! Four stars!

Super excited NTL opened up a shop in the FiDi. Their first location is in SSF, which I haven’t been to yet. NTL serves red velvet latte, which piqued my interest. My initial thought was, «it must be really sweet» and it even sounded weird. I decided to give them a try. The shop is the size of a closet so there’s only one person working(cashier & barista). The barista was very friendly and welcoming. I asked her if the red velvet latte is really sweet and she said«yes». For a small cup, she said they normally use one pump, but she suggested using a half a pump instead if I didn’t want it too sweet. Half a pump was perfect! It wasn’t too sweet and I was able to taste the red velvet. It was like drinking a cupcake. NTL has an extensive beverage menu so there are options even for non-coffee drinkers. They make other flavored lattes, mochas, tea lattes(e.g., pistachio), and even hot chocolate. I love the pun in the name. Glad I found out they opened up in the FiDi. Thank you NTL for making my Friday!

Their storefront is the size of a closet. It only has enough room for the cashier/barista and a myriad of coffee-making instruments and syrups. After walking by them for months, I finally stopped in this morning when I saw on their little chalkboard sign: «Jingle Spice Chai Latte — 50% Off Today Only.» Jingle Spice Chai? Alright. You got me; I’m intrigued. And 50% off? My wallet is happy, too. I ordered my 12 oz.(their small size) drink with soy while Boyfriend ordered a small cup of their house blend coffee. The Jingle Spice Chai Latte is interesting. It’s the only word I can think of for it. It’s not bad, but it’s unlike anything I’ve had before. Take the taste of a Starbucks chai tea latte and mix it with what tastes like hints of peppermint and you get this drink. It’s also pretty thick, so the texture is different on the tongue. Still, an overall pretty solid drink. I noticed on their menu board that they had a bunch of flavored hot chocolates that I’m very curious to try(such as banana hot chocolate, pistachio hot chocolate and raspberry hot chocolate to name a few flavors), so I’m sure I’ll be back very soon!

My eternal quest to try as many non-chain coffee shops around my work area continued on with discovering Never Too Latte Xpress. Love the pun in the name, but the latte was sort of just«meh». Having come off of Terminus’ latte the day before, I was ready for my experience. The shop itself is SO tiny, but they seem to offer a fair amount based on their menu board! I’m by no means a coffee/latte expert, but my reaction to my single shot latte was«well…it’s OK». My single shot latte set me back $ 3.00, and wasn’t as good as the Terminus latte, which was $ 2.50. Glad I found this place, but will explore other options before heading back.

iced dark mocha was great. i wasn’t a fan of the fact that the bean & cheese burrito I bought was the kind you buy in a store(plastic wrapped/micorwaveable) it still tasted good though.

Red Velvet Latte sounds weird in my ear at first for me… Until i dare to give it a shot. And wow it sooo yummy! Taste like drinking a cupcake. Ooo and they have plenty option drinks too. If I’m not wrong they also have Pistachio latte. Definitely will try it soon. Small window coffee shop, grab n go cake, cookies or bagels. Really convenience for rush morning or relaxing in the afternoon on my coffee break. A friendly staff also one of their specialty… Thank u NTL for always making my day. :)
