Delivery came in around 45 min, and the pizza was hot, fresh, with generous amounts of toppings (no skimping here)!

Went here with a big group on Saturday Night and we were able to be seated right away! Service was good, the atmosphere is very sports bar/​family style. Everyone was watching the warriors came so the noise level was a bit higher.
The salads were good but pretty standard.
The pizza was good but I’ve definitely had better in the city, the cheese wasn’t very crispy. If you’re looking for a quick bite of average pizza this is the place! The toasted ravioli were also good.
I don’t think I will be back though.

I’ve been meaning to post this review for awhile now. Figured others should be warned about the shadiness of this place.
About a month ago, I ordered a pizza and some buffalo wings from this place for delivery. The total for my order was about $ 45. The food arrived, and for some strange reason I had a weird feeling to check my bank account online after receiving the food. I checked, and sure enough, thankfully I had. North Beach Pizza charged my card for my order AND someone else’s $ 65 order. I called to tell them. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and I seemed to be inconveniencing her because they messed up. I still have not received a refund after calling my bank and everything. Watch out when ordering from these crooks.

This was my first order from this North Beach pizza branch & it will definitely be my last! Our home has a front gate & then it’s a few yards to my front door. Their delivery person rang the bell outside the gate & when I went to greet him & take the pizzas from him out there, he barreled past me & walked up to my front door. Fine, so I caught up with him & stood in my doorway, like every other normal person does when they get a food delivery, expecting him to hand me the receipt to sign & then hand me the pizzas afterwards. Instead, while I signed the receipt & without my permission, he slid past me & went all the way into my house from my front door to my COUCH to take the pizzas out of his bag there (yep, he even set the dirty bag down on my couch). He didn’t leave immediately when I incredulously said he shouldn’t be walking into my house, there was a visible table right behind me by the door that he could’ve set the pizzas down on, & not even when out of sudden desperation I also said we don’t wear shoes in my house because I have a baby crawling around the floors. He continued into my living room as if I didn’t say a word! Never have I had any delivery person do such a thing. Why he couldn’t just hand me the pizzas at the my front gate, or at my door like every other delivery person I’ve encountered, is beyond me! And mind you, he is a very big man & I’m a petite woman who happened to be home alone with my baby at this time, so it was very disconcerting. When I spoke to the owner of this North Beach Pizza branch over the phone & told him how uncomfortable & inappropriate the incident was, I expected an apology coupled with an «I understand & will make sure it won’t happen again to anyone.» (And of course when he asked what could do for me, I asked if I could be comped because it was the least I could think of as a resolution — which by the way, he refused). Instead he got very angry, raised his voice at ME & told me that he’s known that delivery guy since he was a kid, he’s never gotten a complaint, & that I simply should’ve told him to step out of my house! I tried to tell the owner that any delivery person, man or woman, should never walk into a customer’s home without their permission, but he continued to verbally attack me & refused to let me get a word in. Because of this incident & how awfully the owner handled it, I refuse to patronize this business again.

Horrible service! I called around 9pm on 5÷26÷16. The woman on the phone told me it would be 45 minutes. After an hour and 30 minutes I called only to hear from the same woman that I never placed an order with them. After insisting that she look. She tells me that she cancelled the order because she took down the wrong phone number and address. I repeated both to her at least three times but she wasn’t able to hear because she was so distracted interrupting my phone call to speak with someone at her restaurant. Apparently she doesn’t know how to be professional and put someone on hold until she can properly take an order. I ENDED UP ORDERING FROM LITTLE JOE’S PIZZA. A MILLION TIMES BETTER PIZZA AND SERVICE.

I honestly love this place i have no idea how it has such a low star rating. The sauce is delicious the crust is delicious everyone who works there is super nice. The buildings fairly large so you could being a few friends and honestly i have found it be the best pizza in the excelsior!!! Also they’ve always delivered very promptly. All around wonderful food and service definitely a five star!

So I order a pizza. I’m told 30 – 45 minutes. The delivery guy shows up 90 minutes after I placed the order, and when I offer to buzz him in, he barked at me to come down because he has too many orders. He had no extra cheese or peppers, only 1 of each in the box. The pizza was burnt and cold. I used to love this place in my teens, I always considered it one of the best pizzas this side of north beach. But this is the third bad experience in the last year. The lady on the phone was rude and was arguing with someone in the restaurant while she was taking my order, and the quality of pizza is horrible. Never again!!!

I can’t imagine ordering a whole pizza; the pizza by the slice here is huge (about 5 in. long and 5 in. wide at the crust)! That said, it was very good and definitely worth the price of $ 3.50! The crust was light, chewy, and crunchy. I only ate pepperoni pizza, so I can’t comment about the other toppings, but the pepperoni was great! Parking shouldn’t be a problem, and the interior looked good. The style fits the neighborhood very well. Generally a high quality, great value pizza place that I will definitely revisit in the future.

Tried this restaurant based on the recommendation of a good friend. It completely lived up to the hype. Extremely friendly staff that go above and beyond to bring you excellent service. Also the pizza is absolutely amazing! Easily my favorite Pizza place in SF. Also the chicken wings and meatballs are both a great choice.

Ordered pizza today for the first time and I absolutely love it!!! Delivery was super fast even though it’s a rainy day! Very convenient for a busy day. Very good customer service too :)

yum this place is so nostalgic. got pizza with the most ingredients and it was really good, a bit pricy but cause i use to always order it when i was younger living next door, it taste so good
thick and juicy and full of flavor, a must try, there is one in little italy too, but if you in this area, go here. the insides feels a bit mofia dark which i like, hahaha never ate my pizza there cause i live so close, but it feels like a family vibe when i walk in, and the pizza is so good!

I have been ordering pizza from the Mission Street branch for over 10 years. It was really good in the beginning, but start going downhill about a year ago. My last Pizza was the last straw: the ingredients used are not much better than those $ 5.00 pizza places. Anchovies used was not anchovies at all. They are more like salted baby mackerel filets with extremely unpleasant fishy smell. There are small chunks of tendons in the Italian sausage, a sign of a cheaper grade of meat. I am pretty sure they use cheaper grades materials to save cost.
People who order from North Beach Pizza willing to pay extra (comparing to their competitors) in exchange for better quality pizza. If the last pizza was any indication of the direction where NB is heading, It would truly be my LAST pizza from them. What a disappointment! Now I have to start looking for another Pizza place.

The pizza here is pretty decent, but halfway through eating my slice, I saw a green bug in the box. Not in need for extra protein so that went in the trash can outside of the apartment.
I live in the area and have never seen green bugs around, so know that this is ALLLLLLL BADDDDD.
The bug looked cool and belonged at the park, not in the pizza box.

I just came in for a slice of Pepperoni Pizza. I brought the box home, took a couple of bites, and a BUG jumped right out at me. I threw the whole thing away and then called for a refund.
At first she said yes to the refund, and then she said I had to come back in and show them the bug. NASTY! Why would I keep the bug, then waste my time, go back there, and get $ 3.50.
The bug looked healthy so they probably have a lot of bugs eating their pizza. Wish I could have talked to the manager but he/​she wasn’t there. I’ll never go back.

The delivery driver is disgustingly rude,
Refused to walk to door, told me he’d leave with my delivery if I didn’t walk downstairs to his car.
I was in my socks and had to walk outside, down stairs to his car.
Then he complained about the tip.
The pizza itself was the most disgusting pizza I’ve ever ordered, under cooked.
When I called and complained they refused to do anything.
Said they’d credit me then when I refused the credit and requested just cash back the lady complained at the time frame I called.
I would never recommend this pizza place.

I dropped in for a slice of cheese after eating at Hawaiian Drive Inn (aka dinner #2). The cheese slice was $ 3 while pepperoni slices are $ 3.50. They also offer a drink for an additional $ 1.
The slice is HUGE! Especially at $ 3, this was a great value. My cheese pizza could have used a little more cheese but hey, it’s still a $ 3 slice.
The cashier was really nice and greeted me with great energy. Can’t speak on the service otherwise since I ate my slice while walking out.
This place meets expectations and offers reasonable slices of pie. Very solid 3 star establishment.

North Beach Pizza sounds good but tastes just bland, only the bread tasted, not the cheese nor the minenera sauce.
