On Track Cleaners

I have been going to On Track Cleaners for several years with no issues. However, they recently ruined one of my dresses and are not taking responsibility. It was a black and white dress that was brand new. When I picked it up, the white part of the dress had turned brown due to the chemical treatment.
I have been waiting for 3 weeks for the owner, Louis/​Lewis Leung, to call me back and arrange a reimbursement for the cost of cleaning the dress, and the cost of the dress itself.
The woman who works there, Ying, claims that the damage is not their concern given that the damage to the dress was caused by the dress itself. This is absurd reasoning.
I will update this post with the resolution once we have one. In the meantime, I would highly recommend skipping this place lest they ruin your clothes too. Ko Cleaners on Columbus street as a great alternative. They’re a few blocks away and I have also used their services with no issues in the past.

So bad. I live two blocks from this place and have used the service around 5 times. The first few times were ok. I’d drop clothes off to the same woman that’s there. She’s not rude so to speak, just not happy at all. When I go to pick up in the morning a few days later (it’s not same day service), I arrived at 7:30 when they’re said to open. Every time, they were over 15 minutes late in opening.
The clothes come back odorless which I’m not sure is a good thing. But they fold the clothes and got the job done. Fine whatever.
The final time I went, I got the clothes back and they were shrunken to all hell.
There was one sweater that was TINY and the white parts were now brown. Apparently they throw everything into one load rather than separating white and color.
When I went back to complain, the woman got aggressive with me and it turned into a full on yelling match. I’ve never had this experience in my life. Don’t they take pride in what they do? There’s way too many laundromats in the area to tolerate On Track.

I dropped off a jacket here for dry cleaning. Brought it home to find a huge damaged spot on the arm. Apparently a failed attempt at removing a stain. No mention was made of it when I picked it up and now the jacket is ruined. Will definitely not be back.

Doing laundry sucks but having someone else do your laundry is great. Service is reliable and price is reasonable. I do the wash and fold service and I get about 5 – 6 loads done for about $ 40. It takes 1 – 2 days depending on the amount of laundry I have. The dry cleaning is a bit expensive but dry cleaning in SF is expensive. If you’re a lazy ass like me and don’t mind paying I would definitely give On Track a try.

My clothes smelled wierd. That’s enough for me.

Be aware, they will stamp the inside collar of your laundered shirts with S H I D, in black capital letters. If you don’t want that, don’t go here.

This is by far the most efficient cleaners in SF I’ve used yet. They do deliveries and pick ups which is useful especially if you’re a person who has a packed schedule every day. The lady who works behind the counters is extremely nice and welcoming. But most importantly, my clothes came back cleaned and folded neatly. On track definitely works accordingly to my schedule and convenience.
Now that is the definition of QUALITY service.

I’ve used On Track before and I always had a really good experience. It’s a good thing that they have many locations. My parents live in the East Bay and they had given me a ton of sheets and such to bring to a cleaner after work last friday and wanted me to bring it back to them the next day. I was in a rush to meet up with some friends for happy hour on Broadway so I was very pleased to find that there was an On Track Cleaners nearby.
I’m sure they prefer pick ups and customers to drop off their laundry at the closest On Track to their homes so it is easier for them to deliver, but even when finding out that I lived almost across town, they still offered to drop it off for me late morning the next day, just in time for me to bring it back to the East Bay before dinner.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, «A cleaner that will pick up your laundry, do a great job, fast service, and deliver it right back to you according to your convenience? Doesn’t get better than this!»

I’ve used On Trak about 3 – 4 times and the clothes come back very clean, sometime sorted perfectly. The problem I have is the cost is always the same. I’ve had varied sizes of Laundry yet every time it comes back it’s $ 45. Since I don’t have a scale, I can’t double check, but I’m considering buying one to be sure. I am also a student and have only gotten the discount once and I had to remind them 3 – 4 times to get it.
