Got the«country chicken»(sort of an orange/kung pao chicken hybrid) with pad thai. Preferred the latter.

Definitely better than those other FiDi steam table joints which sling pre-made Asian food(usually by the pound). Not as good as eating in a proper Osha restaurant with food made-to-order and a lot more variety. All things considered, a solid lunch option. I hadn’t eaten here for a few months and during my most recent visit it felt like the portions got smaller. Don’t get me wrong, there’s still a lot of food. It just went from leftovers for dinner to maybe 7 bites leftover so you wonder if it’s worth taking home. Pad Thai: Was a tad dry and the mix-ins(veggies, egg, tofu) are pretty skimpy compared to what you’d find if Pad Thai were a main dish. But is better than rice. Pad See You: Big, soft and tasty noodles with a bunch of good sauce soaked in. I could totally just eat this. Lemongrass Chicken: Probably my favorite protein. It’s got some serious lemongrass flavor infused in all the ground chicken. Also, a lot of other nice flavors. Pretty intense. Pork Belly: Tender. A decent amount of fat had been rendered off during the slow cooking. No crispy edges. A very salty/soy-y sauce, so be sure to have a glass of water nearby. The boiled egg feels a bit unnecessary, just give me more pork.

Tried pumpkin curry with brown rice for like $ 10. While it tastes pretty good, I think it’s overpriced & the portion is small. Also tried the crab rangoon for like $ 1.6. It was stale and cold and is very tiny. The fish sauce that comes with it is way too sweet.

First time here today. I’m a huge fan of the regular Osha but didn’t have time to eat there so I decided to try this Express. Well, you get what you pay for. The menu is nothing like Osha at all in my opinion. And the staff really rushes you to hurry and decide but as someone who has never been here before I needed to take my time. It was hard to decipher what stuff was because someone has handwritten all the items and placed them on little sticky notes and there is no real order to anything. I ended up getting Pad See Ew with some kind of ground chicken and Pumpkin Curry Chicken. I was shocked when the cashier told me my total was over $ 12. Really? For this??? I should have said no thanks and left but when there’s a long line of people behind me and I’m crunched for time I had to make a quick decision so I went with it. I expected a drink or something to come with it but it didn’t. The food was mediocre thanks to all the soy sauce and Sriacha I added otherwise I probably wouldn’t have liked it much. I admit it’s a large portion, they aren’t stingy at all in that sense and I only finished half. Took the rest back to work and plan on eating for dinner at home tonight. Probably won’t be back.

Pretty awesome little spot. Osha thai take-away. The eggplant and pumpkin curry are my go-to items. The pad see ew is also really good.

Had a little lunchtime craving for Thai and decided that this was quick and had okay reviews. I wasn’t ready for the quickness of the line that I should have figured out what I already wanted. There’s a nice spread of options so I went(purely out of nerves) with a pad Thai base and the curry chicken. I have no idea what concoction I made but my taste buds had no problem. I’d say come here if you’re looking for quick Thai food and variety.

The perfect place if you want heartburn. I got halfway through lunch and felt like dying. I threw the rest out. Total waste of money. Honestly, SF is a foodie mecca… why waste it on sub-par food I won’t be back for lunch

I work about a block away, but I had never been here before. My co-worker took me to this food court, and I had no idea that it even existed! It’s a little hard to find from the Spear side if you don’t know where you’re going, but it is very visible from Steuart. I got the one-item bowl with pad thai and panang beef with a thai tea. The bowl looks pretty small, but they fill the entire thing. I wasn’t able to finish my portion, and my co-workers said similar things. The food was pretty good, nothing special, but definitely satisfying.

The ginger chicken and the red curry beef is super good. That’s all I’ve had so far. It comes in a bowl with rice for $ 10 and is filling. Their food always looks fresh and good. They are located on the bottom floor of the One Market building in the food court. It’s easy to get to if you go through the side door facing the Ferry Building. Any time I’m craving a warm meal, I come here.

This used to be a regular weekly spot for me. The Pad Thai and samosas and snap peas with black bean sauce are great! The problem I have is with the prices. At $ 10+, their meals were already above the average for the area, but after the 1st of the year(2015) their price for a $ 10 plate went up TWODOLLARS! They need to work on their competitive pricing if they want me back as a weekly customer. Until then, it’s Yank Sing time! Where $ 8 gets you a whole lot more!

One of my togo place for lunch, there is always a line but it goes by so quick. i usually get the two item combo and that fills me up plenty, i also sometime save it to have the next day. you always get choices of what you want, and almost all the options taste quite good. The basa(fish) and the pumpkin chicken being my favorite. and i keep changing my base from brown rice to pad see ew to pad thai, rarely ever being disappointed. the pork belly is pretty good too but it very heavy, the all the other chicken dishes are really good too, including the ginger chicken and the ground basil chicken. Its located in the One market plaza, but right now due to construction you can’t get here from one market side, you have to enter through the mission side if you don’t have an id for the building or enter from the spear side and try your luck, but building security is pretty stingy about letting you in. If you ever need a quick bite to eat and want to pack some flavor in your lunch, this is one of the best options there is in Fidi.

For my first time experience here I was very happy with my lunch. I had 1 item combo with half steam rice and half pad thai noodles and for my 1 item I got the country chicken. Everything was really tasty and the chicken wasn’t too spicy, the spring rolls and crab rangoon are also very good. There is plenty of seating inside but it’s also nice to sit across the street and soak in the sun.

Pork belly is good, and that’s what I come here for. The line here also goes fairly quickly. The 1 Item Combo is surprisingly packed with a good amount of food. The pork belly choice is kind of overwhelming though, because it’s, well, pork belly, and not much else except for an egg if you want it. I wish the entrees could be more varied and the options more fast, that would be awesome. But, alas, it is express. As of now, just gonna eat a lot of pork belly.

I am kinda mad at the gal who turned me onto this. I was actually avoiding going here b/c I knew I might like it and always be tempted. Delish…check… fast… check convenient to my work… double check(right in my building) …but too much money for me to spend on lunch the small is $ 9ish. The line goes pretty fast. I had the 1 item combo with brown rice and ginger chicken. I wanted the pumpkin chicken but they just ran out and were going to make more and I didn’t want to wait. I’ll tell ya I think about it everyday I don;t bring my lunch, but likely fattening and more $ than I want to spend daily.

Thai to go! I love the Thai selections! You make it a meal with the choice of white rice, brown rice, pad thai or pad see you and you either opt it with one entrée or two! That is all up to you! I do recommend their pumpkin curry if that is your first time here and pad thai to go with it! I do like their tender and signature marinated pork belly sauce with an egg in it entrée as well! It’s a great lunch meal and well worth it for an express to go!

The line moves fast here and the lunch combo with rice or noodles and one entrée item runs at $ 8.97(including tax). I know this specific price because it is just under $ 9, the«limit» for swiping your 5-Star tab. This really bugs me, because they will not give you frequent buyer points for the one-item bowl. It seems like they intentionally keep it a few cents below $ 9, which seems stingy, especially because the two-item combo is just too much food for me. However, I do love the pad Thai with their pork belly & egg, although there are occasionally purely fat pieces of the pork. The best part is that the portions are big enough for me to have lunch for two days. Yummy Thai and lunch under $ 5 for two days is a big win, even without the 5-Star points.

1-Item plate, are you serious, do you know how much I eat? Wait…the 1-item can go with rice ORPADTHAI that’s actually pretty elite? They have a decent selection and most of their stuff looks delicious And having eaten there several times, I can be a witness that this place is great, and their lives prove it Just don’t go here too much if you’re interested in being fit I’ve had their pad thai(which is darn good), and I get that instead of rice(which is pretty amazing given at other places, pad thai would be an «item». Then I would get the fish dishes(all the deep fried fish items are great), and their curry is good, as well as their deep fried chicken items. Basically this place is great, but don’t get surprised if you gain some weight.

OTE is tucked inside the food court at One Market Plaza. The layout reminds of Panda Express with open trays behind a glass. You have the option to choose 1 item, 2 item, or a la carte, and a choice of carbs: brown rice, Pad Thai, Pad See You, or jasmine rice. On this visit, I chose the 1 item with brown rice. I picked the pumpkin curry, which was quite flavorful. However, the pumpkin was a bit undercooked and the chicken was dry. I wasn’t expecting much since Osha Thai Express is a grab and go. For less than $ 10, you get a decent amount of food that can easily be 2 meals.

I was meeting a friend that works in the building and decided to pick up some lunch at Osha Thai Express. I love Osha Thai but knew not to expect the same. The line was a little long but went by fast. There were a couple options that looked somewhat appealing. I went with the lemongrass chicken and chose the pad thai for my included carb. It was under $ 10 with tax and the portion was pretty generous. I liked the lemongrass chicken when my old job would get Osha catered. However when I got it from OTE that day, there were a lot of hard pieces of ground up chicken. The pad thai was less greasy here than other times when I’ve had it from the full fledge restaurant, but is plain(no meat, no tofu, no egg). I say it’s probably best to pay a little more and get to go from nearby Osha Thai at 4 Embarcadero.

I really think the Osha Thai brand, such as it is, has spread itself way too thin with this assembly-line food court operation because I don’t recognize any of the quality I seem to recall of the original restaurant here. And why should I? It’s really meant to be a grab-n-go place that doesn’t stand up to any extended amount of culinary scrutiny. However, even After Osha near Union Square has some semblance of the full-fledged restaurant in their various order stations. The aptly named Osha Thai Express has no such connection. It has the personality of an airline terminal during a snowstorm after all flights had been canceled. I really think the Donner party would have complained about the grub here. During a hurried lunch hour where I needed to get back within the hour, I ordered the $ 9.77 Two-Item Combo, the Yellow Curry with chunks of Pork and the Spicy Green Beans with a side of Brown Rice(see photo). As you can see, it’s a hefty portion, so if that’s what you’re looking for at lunch, then by all means, go to town and bring your own bib. And fast, too. No time for chit-chat or any exchange of pleasantries when you’re in line. But if flavor and texture are important, you may want to reconsider as it was a wet, greasy mess when it landed on my plate with a thud. FOOD — 2 star… if Osha Thai decided to serve food at San Quentin, this could be the result that lands on the inmates’ trays AMBIANCE — 2 stars… it’s an office food court after all SERVICE — 2 stars… can’t even remember TOTAL — 2 stars… surely you could do better without the risk of indigestion
