I really wish zero stars were an option. Ordered pizzas from this place for years. Good, solid pizza. Then one day when we tried to place an order, we were told we were something like .10 miles out of their delivery range. That’s right. 1⁄10 of a mile away all of a sudden. The person really could have cared less about my confusion on the matter. There are many more options in this great city, and this just illustrates how small minded small business owners can assure themselves failure in the long term.

These guys should probably change the name of their restaurant because it makes them impossible to find on Unilocal, but regardless they make some very tasty pizza. I also like their spicy mac and cheese. If you come here definitely try the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza, Haba-roni Pizza and their spicy mac and cheese!

This place offers the worst service I’ve ever received in my life. We were walking down Valencia street on a EDIT: Tuesday Evening /EDIT looking for a place to eat with 5 friends, one of whom had been feeling a little ill. Suddenly a wave of intense nausea overcame her, and we stopped in the nearest place we could find and asked if she could use the restroom. The guy at the counter, who I see from the video is the owner, said«only if you buy something.» I said«uh, ok, I’ll have a soda» while my friend is literally struggling to stop gagging. The guy has the nerve to say«at least $ 5.» A little compassion please? Still, I tried my best to understand where he was coming from, and ordered some mozzerella sticks with the soda. He finally gives them to me. They were fine. Nothing special, not unusual. Greasy, somewhat bland, but that’s not the point. While we’re waiting for our friend(one other female friend went in with her to make sure she was OK) I notice chicken tikka pizza. I like Chicken Tikka, I like Pizza, I think, «I might actually want to order this!» I asked the guy at the desk about it: if its spicy, how people generally like it, etc. He gives me another irritated look and then grabs the menu out of my hands and proceeds to read me the description straight off the menu, pointing to each word as he reads it. Nothing more. Thanks, buddy, does your condescension make you feel worthwhile? I then say, «I know what the menu says, I’m asking how people like it.» His response, «You don’t seem like you’re going to order anything more. If that’s the case, then you should wait outside.»(Can you believe this?) Keep in mind, the restaurant was literally empty. Not a SINGLE customer. As my 3 friends stand in stunned disbelief, I say«actually, we’re still considering if we want to order something, so we’ll take a seat.» He said«there’s a 7 dollar minimum to sit down.» I said, «well, with tax, our order came to 7 dollars, thanks.» «No,» he replied, «7 dollars per PERSON.» How many parties of 6 go into a pizza place and order $ 42 + in food? This guy was clearly just being a jerk. My friend came out of the bathroom, and I said to the guy that he made our experience really unpleasant, and if he had been kind, we would have happily sat and ordered food from him. His response? «Do you feel better now? Do you feel better now?» repeating it over and over like some sort of nightmarish, passive-aggressive parrot. I only started to feel better when I left promptly after that. I hope the owner never mans the desk again; I don’t think customers can stomach him, regardless of how hungry they might be. Worst restaurant experience of my life. I’m outraged just thinking about it. Anyone who believes good service is a necessary part of a successful business should not patronize this place. EDIT: It might not have been a Monday afternoon… I changed the wording to Tuesday evening(this happened a month ago), but I’m positive it was this restaurant, and positive it was Juned himself who we encountered.(As I said, I recognize you from the video. What kind of lame attempt to circumvent responsibility is this?) You remember this incident, Juned, and I remember you, and it’s shameful to think you’d pick up on the one inconsistent detail to try and delegitimize the story. Unkind is one thing, but dishonest too?

This is my first time ordering. I went in and ordered a large pepperoni and a 2 liter of Coke. Thr staff was friendly, but the place was empty. The sauce is rich and the whole milk cheese has a great flavor to it. Great sauce to cheese ratio. The pizza is greasy, but i personally like that. The staff was not friendly at all. They are in a great location… it’s a shame their customer service keeps people from coming in.

I share Andy L.‘s question: is this place a front? However, nobody is ever in there. It’s the great mystery of Valencia Street. –The food is solidly good. Much better than many other places. –The milkshakes are great. — Service when I was there a couple times was very friendly. — Dining room and restrooms are very clean. — Never a wait(because it’s huge and totally empty). — Prime location I can’t imagine the rent is cheap and they’ve been around for a few years but I wonder how they support themselves. This place lacks the cool, hip vibe of many of its neighbors but it’s way more than decent and dependably good. Pizzeria owners: please answer once and for all what the deal is with this place? If Unilocal users don’t get a solid answer, we will think you’re selling drugs or worse. I doubt anyone will report you, but you have the people baffled.

We had read about the wonderful chicken wings here, well let’s just say over rated. This has to be the very worst pizza I have ever had in my life. I would have been better off buying a frozen pizza from Costco. There are better wings out there and you can find better pizza in the frozen section of your local supermarket. This place is proof that you can’t always trust Unilocal reviews, because honestly it was horrendous.

Pretty good Indian-owned coal fire pizza place similar to Delfina and Zero Zero. Yeah… Indian-owned, I back-pedaled too when I noticed this, but read-on! They specialize in pizzas and advertise Halal type food(e.g. no pork), but also have pastas and salads like any other pizzeria. I came here on search of a coal fire pizza that was similar to Zero Zero’s über chewy fluffy crust, minus Deflina’s price tag. Despite free delivery, I opted to walk over to have dinner. It looks like they bought furniture from an Indian friend who owned an Indian furniture store because because the furniture was unusually formal. In fact, when I walked in, the dim lighting, empty dining area, and strange furniture got me to order«to go». The guy who took my order was very friendly, and my order was ready in less than 10 minutes! But I was disappointed to find I didn’t save any money compared to the fancy pizzas at Beretta and Delfina($ 22 for a 16″ pizza? Wow… and $ 10 for that box of Mac N Cheese was not worth it because it tasted a bit like Velveeta, was way too spicy, and was too expensive for the amount). The pizza was good(Marga-roni), fluffy crust and more generous with the toppings than Delfina(who is SUPER stingy). The dough was exactly what I was looking for, but not quite as fluffy and doughy as Zero Zero. Overall, you end up paying the same $/volume at Zero Zero but you get more creative ingredient combinations at Zero Zero. A good alternate if you are looking for something quick and casual, or something in the Mission. It is better value than Deflina and Gialina’s flimsy $ 18 pizzas(slightly larger and more hearty). I wouldn’t recommend Beretta’s for flavor, crust or price. The Pizzeria is a great option if you’re looking for delivery or a close second to Zero Zero.

For a long time, I really thought this place was a drug front. I mean, there is some high quality furniture in there and a decent menu with a bunch of guys sitting around and no one in the restaurant. What gives? But then I thought, «what kind of person would have a restaurant as a drug front/embezzling/laundering scenario right in front of the police station?» Anyways, I had the wings here, and let me just say, they were fucking good. Ive eaten a lot of wings in my life and these were quality. Sauce was on point, but not too hot. Could have been more hot, but still had a lot of zing. The old lady had the margherita pizza and was really disappointed. I actually got a lot of shit from her because she didnt like the pizza. Something about the cheese not being good… I dont know… I usually just here«Blah blah blah» from her anyways.
