My mom unfortunately has been seeing Dr. Pun as her Endocrinologist, she is diabetic, maybe because she couldn’t find a MD that speaks Cantonese. Dr Pun sent my mom home with a vial of insulin and syringes without giving her proper instructions! My mom by the way has dementia, she went went home injected the medications not knowing what she was doing. Luckily when we noticed her confused and sweating, we immediately treated her with some juice, we checked her blood sugar and it was abnormally low then we ended up in the emergency room, she could have died. We tried to reach Dr. Pun, but couldn’t get through, his number provided an answering service but is a machine that says this number is currently not in use??? If I could give him 0 stars, I would, don’t see him! There are plenty of Endocrinologist with experience that return calls and actually cares and takes accountability for his patients.

I have been seeing Dr Pun for some time and I think he is a great doctor. I was diagnosed as pre-​diabetic and the original doctor that perform the blood test just asked me to eat less rice and stuff like that, which obviously does not help too much and I was getting thinner and thinner.
Then I changed my doctor to Dr Pun and he asked me for all my test results and upon asking for my symptoms and the way my blood sugar level change, he thinks that I don’t really have diabetes but it is actually because of my sleep apnea that caused my morning blood sugar level to be high. So he refers me to sleep clinic and the clinic confirms that I have sleep apnea.
Once I started using the CPAC machine, my blood sugar drops to normal and now I do not have to worry about what I can/​cannot eat. This is so great! Thanks!

I have tumor in my thyroid. My sister also have thyroid tumor. I have been seeing Dr. Pun for more than 10 years. We need to see him every quarter to monitor our tumor. Last year he felt something went wrong in my sister’s tumor and asked her to do a couple tests such as ultrasound and biopsy etc. After the results, he suggested her to remove the thyroid ASAP. After the surgery they found cancer in very early stage! He suggested me to do the same tests since we are sisters even I do not have the same symptom. I did all the tests and the result were different from my sister. Still showing no signal to have cancer. Another doctor didn’t recommended me to do the surgery. Dr Pun still take my case seriously and finally we decided to take the surgery in last October. After my surgery, they also found cancer in it but it was under very early stage and the cancer cell was very small! I just want to tell you how much I appreciate what Dr pun has done to me and my sister! We both found the cancer in a very early stage. He is very sincere to follow up my case. Without him I don’t know what my cancer tumor will turn into what stage! He saved my life and my sister’s. All my friends asked me how to find out the cancer in a very early stage in my age 40 only. I told them that I found a good doctor!
