I’m thrilled to have phở access so close to CCSF. Choices are somewhat limited, as there was no you’re or tendon on the menu, but the phở broth was great. Cash only makes it lose a star because it’s a pain, but I had cash with me today so it worked out.

This place carries many popular items without having a huge menu, and is never crowded as most people seemed to order to-go. It is also cleaner and nicer than the average noodle house. Cash-only though. The portions are definitely bigger than at most Viet noodle houses. The imperial rolls appetizer is generous, almost like a meal itself. The bun rieu does its job, though I tend to request fermented shrimp paste for additional saltiness. Also, they provide basil leaves and bean sprouts as sides(they’re really for phở; ask for mint leaves instead). The phở is not great but worth it if you’re in the mood.

This place is disgusting!!! I ordered BBQ Vermicelli for lunch. After I almost finish half, I found a giant cockroach in my food. The server just looked at and didn’t even apology sincerely. Just like it is not a big deal. I’m pretty sure this is not the first time. You can imagine how filthy their kitchen is. think twice before you choose this place and be very careful about food.

Came here with friends for dinner when another nearby phở place was closed. Nice wall décor, but food was lacking. I ordered a phở combination assuming it would have the regular stuff like beef, bean sprouts, tendons, tripe, etc. I ended up getting a bowl of mainly noodles, a few pieces of beef, and bull pudendum(cow penis). Since I didnt touch the pudendum, I ended up with just noodles. Although not necessarily tainted, most of the beef had an iridescent sheen(beef«rainbow»).

Came here for lunch and our group got seated quickly. Ordered the beef satay noodle soup for the first time, and I do not regret! It was pretty good. Our food came out within 5 – 10 minutes of ordering. So fast! The restaurant is cash only — so remember to bring cash!

DONOTEATHERE! My friend and I figured we give t a try since our usual phở place does not open on Mondays. We sat down and ordered within five minutes. Once we placed our order our phở was out in 2 minutes(red flag). I ordered the chicken phở and I understand that it will not always have chicken breast, but this chicken was yellowish and very brown. The broth was bland and was almost rancid. I stomached what I could but couldn’t do much. Oh and I wasn’t even given phở noodles! I was given thick, flat noodles with some other noodles. My friend ordered the pork phở and again, the broth was bland as F***k and the pork was mostly fat. We paid almost $ 30.00 when we should’ve honestly just gotten our money back. It’s now been 4 days since we’ve eaten there and our stomachs are still fucked up. I never write reviews, but this place was so horrible and I’ve never been so sick from phở. I seriously do not recommend eating here. Consider this kind words from a stranger. You’ve been warned.

I came here recently for lunch and ordered their chicken intestine phở, one of my favorites at this type of restaurant. The ingredients and soul was okay but something about the noodle itself wasn’t that impressive. Anyway, that was my first impression. One note is that if you like beef phở with ingredients such as tendon and tripe, then this is not the place to come for it. I noted on their menu that those items are not offered here for their beef phở selections. Otherwise, service was okay as well.

AS A NON-VIETNAMESE raised born individual, i’m not quiet sure what good or bad phở is, BUT I do know when something taste a little more bland than others. The people are nice and the place is easy to get to, but the serving sizes are a little too big. It then forces those to pay $ 8+ sized bowls for a regular(looks like a large) $ 10+ for a large compared to most places at $ 6+ for a small/medium.

They used to have garlic noodles with pork available on the regular. They do not have it very often any more. I would give this place four stars for a regular offering of this menu option as it is one of my favorite local spots for quick take-out. Their other offerings are decidedly mediocre.

We eat Phở at least twice a month. And this place did not disappoint! 1. Their bbq Pork chop was HELLA good. It tasted clean and fresh. But let us see consistency and I’ll re-edit this later! 2. Phở King good Satay but Lacking on the meat a bit for a large bowl. 3. I don’t say this a lot! BUTIT’s A Very clean place. Great Atmosphere to eat. 4. If you hipsters don’t like this place, then you have not eaten at enough Phở places! 5. Damn! Let’s when we come back here again! OH and their Chicken had crispy skin and tasted like it was fried in clean oil. And this was at a 7:00pm Dinner!

pretty good stuff! I got the rice combination w/imperial rolls, pork chop, egg, and fish sauce. yo, mouthgasm? the flavors exceeded my expectations, it was like a flying unicorn perched upon a floating cloud, dropping unicorn blessings down my mouth and esophagus. taste the rainbow. oh, they only accept cash, wholefoods across the sweet has cash back. hope that helps.

It’s hard to find good phở places along the peninsula but it gets easier as you move north. My friend was taking a class nearby so we decided to stop here for a bite. I’m impressed by my first experience here! I was not craving phở so I ordered the BBQ Pork & Egg Roll with Vermicelli($ 7.95) which was one of the best I’ve had of that dish. The egg rolls were especially good. My friend said their phở is okay, and I thought their che ba mau(three colored drink) was average. My five stars goes mostly to the vermicelli dish and the service. The lady who greeted us is very friendly to all her customers, though she likes to apologize for literally everything. Next time I will have to try their phở and Vietnamese coffee to make a secondary judgment, but great first impression! Would definitely recommend.

Worst Vietnamese restaurant in SF. Don’t express any customer service, don’t order food by name because the older lady waitress don’t understand it beside number. The business was slow but they left the check and took the dishes to force us left asap even I was still working on it. About the food, the bbq chicken was raw and side dish looked like leftover.

I do like this place, its clean not crowded. Ive always got their bun rieu and the sad thing is out of all the phở restaurants I’ve been to, this place gives the least crab meats. Like seriously tho??? I only saw maybe 5 small pieces when i ordered a large!!! Taste wise its good and I like their flat noodle here. And its CASHONLY!

One of the memorable meal in San Francisco. Good foods don’t have to cost arm and legs. Here are the menu: Chicken salad. Crispy shallots, slightly sweet and vinegary. Just a perfect balance flavor soooo good Cow pudendum soup. Yes cow penis. Perfect beef broth. Tendon like texture. Andrew Zimmerman should stop by. Beef carpaccio raw thinly sliced lean beef melt in your mouth dish. Fried quail. Meat combo to name a few The phở is served with sateen silky slurpy fresh noodle. It is an incredible experience.

Food = OK. Curry chicken with egg noodles soup. Yup. It’s what I wanted and what they had! It was a bit greasy, as expected but it was delicious. Tried their pureed sweet tofu… Delicious.(Definitely need to like sweet tofu!) Prices = moderate. $ 6−8/per entrée. Service = typical. They take your order, bring your food and take your money. No attention.

Came in with my mom the other day. We ordered the seafood phở and Hanoi BBQ pork vermicelli. The broth for the seafood soup was so yummy and it came with the northern thick white noodles. My Hanoi vermicelli was a first time experience. I love a mean BBQ pork vermicelli but I never had it the way it was served here. The noodles were served separately from the meat which was in a cold fish sauce type soup and paired with radishes and cabbage. The meat was sometimes a teensy salty but I was super pleased nonetheless. The phở spot next to 24hours has been the only Viet restaurant in the vicinity and it’s not the best so I’m glad we have a much better option in the neighborhood! I will def be coming back.
