We Hired Mr Kaushik last week on such short Notice for our stokes interview. At first i was really panicking and wondering how we would handle the situation. Kaushik, definitely eased my mind and our fears. He was able to gather all the facts and necessary information that would work in our favor. He was very patient with us. He would listen with concern and give very detailed and precise advice to prepare us for the Interview. Even for the preparation he came up with like half of the questions that were brought up at the actual interview. His sincerity to help was very evident and even at the actual interview he did not leave any stone unturned. He made sure all our concerns were addressed and would step in to intervene whenever he had a chance to. I would definitely Go back to him if anything because i had dealt with a different Lawyer before and he did not even offer half of the help that Mr Kaushik did.

I had approached Kaushik to obtain a WAIVER. I had approached him because he provided the price to me. It was never easy to go through the processes of getting waiver with so many steps, complicated documents needed in every steps, and always a question remained in mind what going to happen next and in the end. But its my assessment that Kaushik with his calmness, confidence and experience had said the right things and have given the right directions from time to time, which made me feel, «well I am in good hands, no need to worry.» And today, in spite of my laziness to acquire the needed documents, I have got the waiver within 10 months and 8 days.” It is also important to mention that Rosanna — Kaushik’s case manager — was always there over a phone call.

Kaushik and his team (particularly Chris) were very helpful with my husband’s Fiancé Visa and subsequent green card process. Kaushik definitely has expertise in this area and guided us throughout. I highly recommend the Ranchod Law Group. The peace of mind we have now, and had whenever we had any questions along the way, were well worth it!

I engaged Mr. Ranchod’s office to process my greencard application, as well as my H1B visa extension, both of which have gone very smoothly. Choosing an immigration lawyer is very crucial and personal, since it plays a huge part in realizing that American dream. In a very real sense, it could seal or break the deal.
I found Mr. Ranchod online, and trust me, it was not an easy process sorting through tons of immigration lawyers. Here are a few of the reasons why I picked him:
(1) his educational background and experience were impressive. He may not necessarily be the oldest immigration lawyer out there, but don’t be fooled by age.
(2) His rates are reasonable — average I should say. I found lawyers with rates double his, or half his rate. So I stuck to the happy middle. I could have gone to Reeves or Gurfinkel, but I know that much of what I would have paid there would have gone to their advertising and the like. And if a lawyer offers a dirt cheap rate, hmmm, be wary.
(3) Also, his office is conveniently located a few blocks from my office. I am an advocate of convenience, so I picked a law office that I could walk to for any urgent matter during my lunch break. If you are being sponsored by your employer, take this factor into consideration — you wouldn’t want to drag your boss out of his way if he needed to meet with your lawyer.
After my initial meeting with Mr. Ranchod, I have worked mostly with Chris instead of Mr. Ranchod. I do not mind this of course. Chris has been awesome, is very responsive and he knows his stuff. Both Chris and Kaushik have delivered. They take time to answer my questions and concerns. And they have explained my options to me.
Good luck on your search for an immigration lawyer. You need to find someone whom you can imagine working with for the next several years. I know it’s hard to determine this, based only on customer reviews and websites, but do your research and make an informed decision. I’ve been happy and satisfied so far with the Ranchod team.

I contacted this firm and was surprised by the quick response from the secretary who seemed pleasant enough, however after sending a reply in hopes of setting up a consultation and the cost of such I recieved a reply from Mr. Ranchod himself… however, Mr. Ranchod rather then answering the questions that were presented in my email merely copy and pasted some information about Immigration, with no personalization whatsoever and no regards to my case. I replied kindly asking for a consultation and just mentioning I had actually done my homework/​research and had some specific questions that I was hoping he could answer within a consultation. Next email was another copy and paste email, so again I replied kindly however stating that he had YET to answer my original question of a consultation. My thoughts were surely there was not going to be another copy and paste email and perhaps I would actually recieve a consultation with this firm, although at this point I was not overly pleased with the correspondence. Next email was again another copy and paste… I merely replied I was not interested anymore and that perhaps he should begin reading his clients emails before replying to them.
…so if you are looking for a frustrating correspondence I would highly recommend this firm.
Otherwise this firm is a no go…
**edit: just received an email from the pleasant client relations women, turns out the entire mess was from automated emails, still not going to use this firm but I appreciate the apology and will give them the benefit of the doubt. However, I still feel they definitely need to read their clients emails.

I had a very negative experience with this law firm.
After I e-​mailed them, it took over a week for anybody to get back to me, and in these telephone contacts I had to repeat my basic info several times (I think I was asked for a phone number four times) — despite prior e-​mails and conversations.
I then e-​mailed to set up an appointment, and then bizarrely received an e-​mail back saying they don’t offer services for free (I don’t see how I insinuated I was trying to make an appointment for free advice…). At this point I thought I was being talked down to without any personal attention one time too many and I politely responded I would not be using their services.
They answered with a personal insult which I ignored. I can highly recommend Van Der Hout, Brigagliano and Nightingale for professional immigration advice; they always treated me the utmost respect.
