The director can be very mean if you break the rules and trust me you do not want to face him.

Best ever! Neighborhood feel and very cozy. Small and cool spot to let the kiddies play. Tennis court and basket ball courts, with children’s playground all in one. Nothing too fancy but good enough for a Richmond neighborhood kid. Really, if I were a kid, I’d wanna come here all the time!

This well loved playground needs a facelift but seems to have been forgotten by Park and Rec in the great playground retrofit. Still one of the best local playgrounds with a core group of neighborhood kids playing here regularly. Great vibe, friendly kids, moms and nannys. Much cleaner than other city playgrounds.

I went to this playground in the 1970’s when I was in first grade! I worked there as staff from SF Rec & Park in 2004⁄2005& I return again! It’s an older playground but is well maintained & safe for kids. Always a fun place!!! Afterschool programs are offered here for both Elementary School & Middle School aged kids. Transportation to site from Alamo & Lafayette Schools is available. For more info on this program or any program offered by San Francisco Recreation & Park Department, visit .

I love this playground with all my heart and soul. Richmond playground was the go to place after elementary and middle school. Good hoops with decently level courts. A legendary play structure complete with sand in the water fountain. The place hasn’t really changed in 25 years and thats what I love about it. The best memory is playing strike out with tennis balls and metal bats. Hitting shots all day soN! Peace
