SFC Dance Studios

The children’s program at SF Conservatory of Dance is wonderful. Kaitlin is a truly gifted teacher with so much patience and love for her students. My daughters receive sound technique along with inventive and fun creative movement that focuses on spatial awareness, musicality and the children’s own expressiveness in movement. The studios are beautiful and spatious, and parking is super easy in their SOMA location (always a good thing when you’re rushing from one activity to the next). My daughters love Ms. Kaitlin, and love coming to ballet class at the Conservatory!

This review is specifically about the children’s program at SFC Dance Studios, and most specifically to say that Kaitlin Parks is one of the most gifted children’s dance teachers I know.
I teach adults, and do so for a reason — teaching kids takes a very specific skill set: the perfect balance of patience and love combined with the ability to both direct your young students towards an end goal and let them follow their own incredible creative impulses. I’ve watched Kaitlin in her classes in awe — her students learn darn good dance technique, and they have so much fun doing so that I almost want to jump in.
I’ve referred several of my clients with young children to Kaitlin, and they always rave about how much their kids love her. She knows what she’s doing, she absolutely loves it, and your kids will too.
