Did someone say Pesto spread? Just say yes to the pesto spread. I’ve only tried a few items from their menu: 1. Breakfast sandwich with sausage, egg and cheese = full belly. For those Friday mornings when you want a hearty brekky, mate. Go for it. 2. Panini with chicken and pesto spread and other stuff = full belly. A large-sized sandwich that is tasty and filling. TIP: order the half sandwich /half soup meal. Eat it with the tomato bisque. 3. Salted caramel mocha = sugar high! 3pm pick me up. Not compatible with Buzzfeed’s clean eating challenge(look it up). 4. Café latte = love it. Nice and basic, what can say? Add sugar to taste. They have boxed salads and fruit packs in the fridge if you want something easy and light. As any café here are a variety of pastries and sweets all day. Everyone that works there has been courteous and pretty cool so far.

I work in the complex and haven’t been here since Sprig opened, but I had meetings run late and decided to stop by to check it out for a late lunch. What a MESS. At 1:30pm they had two people working and only 2 people in line, including me, and it took almost 15 minutes to get my disgusting food, for which I was overcharged. I ordered the cheddar and tomato panini, which is supposed to have a dijon spread($ 7.99), with an add-on small soup of the day($ 4.99). I thought it was odd that the total came to over $ 16 but with SF taxes and common health care add-ons, it wasn’t totally shocking. When I got the receipt in my email, I found out that they’d charged me for something totally different than my order! They charged me for a tuna and cheddar sandwich($ 9.99) and a small soup($ 5.49), not an add-on. To add insult to injury, the sandwich is disgusting. Not a hint of dijon or any flavor really, and the cheese is like that awful plastic pre-sliced stuff. They can’t even give me real cheese on what is basically a grilled cheese with tomatoes? Really pathetic, especially compared to the food quality in the area for less money. I will not be returning.

This is the most awesome coffee place I have ever been to. Not because of the ambiance but because of the staffs here. The café is inside the PGE building at beale street and specifically for PGE employees. Staffs here are awesome and they know you and your drink. They have an awesome Barista MB. She is super cool and makes awesome coffee. She discussed with me what exactly I am looking for and then recommended me the right drink. The manger and Daylen at the register are awesome too. But thumbs up for MB…
