Srinika Healing and Nutrition

I went in to see Srinika for a few minor issues. I was a little leary at first because I was new to the idea of acupuncture. I was quickly eased by the skill in which Srinika handled me. After having our initial conversation, she ran some tests using my own body as a tool to see what I needed. After she identified a few imbalances, she got to work. Although I was nervous about the idea of needles going into me, I quickly realized the level of experience that Shrinika has. It was painless and actually enjoyable. I felt as if she had helped me into a deep and pleasant meditative state.
I left feeling refreshed but the real benefit came after. I found myself having the energy to do all the little things that had been feeling overwhelming like, laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping and cooking. As someone who owns my own business, I oftentimes find myself exhausted and even the smallest of tasks, feels like a mountain to climb but for the last month or so, I have had plenty of energy to do all the things that I had been putting off.
I am very grateful for this energy boost and am looking forward to continuing our work together so I don’t have to find myself back at the bottom of the mountain. Set up a time to go in today! Thank you Srinika!

Initially, I thought it was whack: Srinika asked me to lie down, keep up an arm and meet her pressure. I was like, okay lady, you try to best me. I couldn’t even fight against her! Your reflexes are tied to your organs and if you can’t keep your arm up as Srinika’s poking you, then you’re weaker in certain areas than others. And she was right!
I came to her for some natural advice on how to get rid of acne, and for almost a year now: seeing her for terrible PMS pains, re-​setting after long bouts of traveling, and everything else.
I’ve never felt better, especially after 3 — 4 glasses of wine and a couple of LivCo pills? I’m hangover and sloppy-​drool-​sleep free. Too much eating out? Srinika prescribes some Fen-​Gre to combat the preservatives and dirty oils in restaurant food. She pinpoints things that are accurate using non-​invasive techniques and all in a kind, generous manner. My weekly visits to see her have made me a healthier, shinier version of who I have always wanted to be. She’s not simply an acupuncturist but a true healer with a real understanding of how the human body works but also how to be kind to your body. That said, Prana Healing in the Castro is a beautiful space that is always cool and dark. I highly recommend her.

Srinika’s unique testing method is both fascinating and fairly accurate. She pinpointed some problem areas and foods and prescribed supplements and instructions. I felt better after a short time following her instructions and taking her supplements. She checked in and followed up to monitor progress and was really set on resolving all my issues. I would definitely recommend Srinika to anyone, especially those who have not had any luck with big hospital doctors.

I came to see Srinika, primarily because my digestion was acting up and I needed to get back to eating more healthy. I knew, I was going to have to make changes but I needed someone to help me focus on what the right changes for me were. Srinika diagnosed me by doing some muscle testing and let me know what things were going «wonky». Wonky is my medical term not hers, (smile). Anyway, with some supplements and a plan in place I noticed I was getting better. Srinika really cares that you get better. That was important to me, because I just didn’t want to be managed through endless digestive problems. So, I am happy to proclaim I am healthy and oh so very happy. Thanks Srinika.

I came to Srinika for nutritional testing. She is very professional, polite and knowledgeable. I felt very confident and safe under her care. As a health care professional, I expect the highest level of care, and can’t help but hold other practitioners to the same standard that I expect of myself. This is both a blessing and a curse since I can’t settle in to a treatment if I feel it’s sub-​standard. Srinika passed the test! Srinika is wonderful at her job. She takes time to listen and really hear what is going on with you. She obviously loves what she does and finds it rewarding. She never takes what she finds for granted and retests repeatedly to make sure that her results are repeatable and accurate. Then she follows up to make sure that you’re doing okay with the protocol she created. I turn to her expertise as a physician sometimes when I don’t know what to look for in my patients. She helps me find the direction to look for answers.

Srinika is a very intuitive and gifted healer. I have been working with a variety of healers from acupuncturists, nutritionists, massage therapists as well as allopaths over the years, all good, all have helped me. What Srinika has done that no one else has been able to do, is find my heavy metal and chemical toxicity that I have accumulated and have been carrying in my body for years. Regular doctors don’t have a clue how to diagnose this and usually dismiss it as not relevant to how you are feeling. Not true!
I appreciate so much Srinika’s knowledge and continued study in the area of toxins, metals, and chemicals that we are exposed to and store in our body which cause us pain, but many times we learn to live with and think normal. Once Srinika diagnosed those specific toxins that I had and they were removed, I was amazed and deeply grateful how light and alive I felt. I literally could breath easier and believe it reduced my inflammation considerably.

Srinika is a rare practitioner/​healer who has helped me find solutions that no one else was able to. Specifically, I went to her because my jaw was clenching while I slept. This was an issue that caused problems that could not be solved by wearing a mouth guard. After going to body workers, chiropractors, and many other types of practitioners, with no luck, Srinika found the answers. I cannot express what a miracle it is for me to be able to sleep restfully after over 15 years of having this problem! I recommend her highly!

Srinika’s knowledge of Chinese medicine, years of experience, and intuition make her a great healer. Over the years she has treated me using acupuncture, bio magnets, nutrition testing, and herbal supplements.
Some of the medical concerns I have gone to her include migraines, tightness in the shoulder region, and joint pain. Srinika uses nutrition testing to determine the long term causes of pain and prescribes herbal supplements to remove preservatives and chemicals that accumulate in the body.
Srinika also uses acupuncture and electro-​acupuncture very effectively so that patients can better manage their pain.

If I could give Srinika Healing zero stars I would. I had an incredibly traumatizing experience at my first — and only — appointment last night. After going through a rushed intake, she quickly shoved the needles into my back and did some cupping. She rushed out of the room and told me to «yell» if i needed anything. The cups were too tight and I yelled for her for a good 5 minutes and she never came into the room. Finally, she came in and I had her remove the cups. The rooms should have buzzers and Srinika shouldn’t sandwich clients so tightly. Completely unprofessional and dangerous. I am never going back.

Srinika is really great at what she does. She takes the time to assess what is going on with you and besides being caring, she is also spot on. I had an NRT session combined w/​Acupuncture. It was very unique and I got a lot out of the session. Srinika is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend her services.

I also wanted to add that Srinika has been treating me with her nutritional analysis modality and it has been mind-​blowing to see all the things I have been consuming and using that have been causing me problems– corn (esp in gluten free products), lipstick, canola and other things that seemed benign. She worked with me to see where I can make improvements in testing and herbs. I have noticed positive changes!

Srinika has a great bedside manner and has helped heal a significant amount of my issues over the past 6 years (stress, rotator cuff, insomnia, hot flashes, countless others). I have a few other acupuncturists in my past to compare from. Trust me: Srinika knows how to minimize any needle pain and is an ace at identifying root causes. I end up leaving the office having had a 45 minute mediation. Give it 3 sessions…6 if your body is kind of beat up, before drawing any conclusions.

Srinika is a true healer! I’m endlessly impressed by her knowledge and her multiple healing skills. I’ve personally had the pleasure of being treated by Srinika for 5 years and she is the FIRST person I call when something feels off.
Her Nutrition Response Testing is miraculous. She picked out things that I hadn’t even thought of that were causing me issues. Once eliminated, my issues went away! And I her Bio-​Magnet treatment is equally fascinating as it is healing. After the first treatment, I was sleeping better.
And of course, her acupuncture and herbal knowledge is hands down the best. I have no hesitation allowing her to do whatever she feels best to help me obtain my health back. She knows the musculo-​skeletal system better than anyone and has healed many of my aches and pains in one to three sessions.
Honestly, I feel lucky to have the chance to get worked on by Srinika… amazing!

Srinika is an amazing healer and I highly recommend her! A few years ago I came in for acupuncture for chronic hip and neck pain. She helped tremendously. Then this fall, after 6 colds/​flus I had enough of the sickness and I went to see Srinika. She has this new modality in her practice using magnet therapy. The 1^st session was hard to describe, but I felt an overall balancing in my body and a peaceful state of well being. For the 2^nd session, (I had slight congestion), my sinuses cleared immediately and my cold went away. It was really amazing! Srinika Rocks!
I just got back from a treatment (I am seeing her for a car accident)…she does great work. Her treatments have been intense… and indeed, I have been sore right after… however, I felt quicker benefits from her treatments than I have in almost any treatments I have had in the past.
It is an added bonus that she does some other bodywork in addition to the acupuncture. She has great hands and great needle skill.
I am still floating…
