This Starbucks is just around the corner from the Palace Hotel where we were staying. I came here to get two sausage breakfast sandwiches for under $ 7 versus the $ 70 plus room service breakfast from the hotel as part of our rotation. The kids enjoyed both and the staff are very pleasant and nice.

Exactly, «meh, I’ve experienced better.» My americano tasted as if it was brewed with day-old grounds, possibly chock full o’ nuts brand. Coffee cake was tasty, but the texture through my off. Think earthworm in bread.

I’m always start my day by Starbucks dark roast coffee. Today, Monday, November 9th, 2015 around 11:00am I ordered Grande dark roast coffee, the young white male guy told me it’s Thanksgiving blend dark roast coffee and I said no problem cause I know the TG blend taste(it’s seasonal) and this guy he started fill up the pike, I told him I need the dark roast, not a pike and he was like ‘sorry’ and finally he gave me a decaf coffee(como’n yo I know the taste and I need some coffin in the morning) I tried it and I was like it’s better if I go to d/t Starbucks location. I’m just curious WHY?

Lines can be long but it’s the closest to work so I’ll stop by here a few times a week. Jason and Milton are usually working the front, and they’re very friendly. Some of the other workers here are a bit snippy and could use a smile from time to time. I know it should go without saying, but this location never messes up my order and they’re pretty quick. It’s experiences at stores like these that make me come back(even if i have to deal with the crappy ones by my house) to the BUX.

This location is usually crowded during the workday, even more so around lunch time. They are efficient though, moving lines along quickly. It is roomier than the average Starbucks with a communal table as well as high tables and chairs facing the alley that is Jessie St. Half of the people occupying the tables are students and tourists, the rest out-of-towners. Even though it can get busy I’d go here over other nearby Starbucks.

This place is gigantic especially compared to the Peets right around the corner. My phone was dying and I desperately needed an outlet to charge it so I was extremely happy when I stumbled into this Starbucks and quickly found an empty seat with an outlet right next to it. I like Starbucks because the employees are super chill and let you charge your phone/use their wifi without purchasing anything unlike at local family owned coffee shops.

This location can whip up a drink during the morning rush like nobody’s biz. Feeling sleepy? Get a quad flat white(or even just a regular), and you will feel like you’re superman/woman for the remainder of the day. Sure, it’s a major chain and yeah, it’s Starbucks, but the staff here are super friendly and fast, and can brighten your morning, even the toughest ones like Mondays. Super convenient loc as well, and right outside the doorstep of the Palace Hotel.

We basically all know what to expect food/drink wise when we go to Starbs, so I am going to review this solely based on customer service, location, ect… Because we all know Starbucks coffee does not get 5 stars alone ;) Anywaysss, I went to this Starbucks this morning during a work break and was pleasantly surprised. The man taking my order was so hospitable and friendly. He was asking me how my day was going and if I had a long commute. He honestly brightened my day and Starbucks experience. The location and set up of this store is prime. It’s located on a corner in the financial district, but also close to SoMa. There’s lots of seating and different types of seating(tables and chairs, bar, comfy seats). You can also charge your phone at the tables using these plugins they provide. So great if you need to charge up your phone while sipping on your coffee and getting work done. Very thankful that this Starbucks is right across the street from my work!

Another great Starbucks. I am here 4 times a week, and they are always fast and friendly. I love Annie she is such a joy to talk to every morning. My drink, which is not just off the board, is always made deliciously. A great start to my morning.

I love that starbucks is right next to my job. However, the service is very slow, and they take their sweet time making coffee. There’s is no urgency, especially when you have been waiting to get your order. Just strong feedback. Thank you.

Yes this one I can give 4 stars on this visit, came here for a personal business meeting and needed a clean place to use WIFI and a good cup of cofee, this place met both of my expectations, mind you this was a on saturday afternoon, if this had been a weekday probably would have had only 3 stars because it would have been packed, I was there on a Saturday so we had an uncrowded end of the table, the WIFI was decent, and got the bizness done. Restroom was reasonably clean, a block away from Montgomery Bart.

Very fast service considering were this Starbucks is located and how busy they are. my only knock on this place is that both times i have been there they just can not understand my name. Sarmad is not a common name i understand but this part of SF downtown is filled with engineers and software developers from India and Pakistan. Every other person in Starbucks was Indian on the days I went in here. If that is the case should you not used to be hearing Indian and Pakistani names? The last time i was there the guy asked from my name and ignored what i said and just put«flash» on the cup since i was wearing a flash t-shirt. I didn’t mind that much I just think it is strange that they are not making an effort to get to know their customer base. I frequent other Starbucks in the bay area and most of them always make an effort to say my name. I understand they are a chain but quite frankly i expect better from Starbucks because i get good services at other locations i go to. The customized chai latte I ordered itself was good. Made well and fast.

Cute location, but awful customer service.(Unless, of course, you are a young blonde.) The young brown-haired male that worked on V-day yesterday had the nerve to argue with me about how«I» want my drink. First he told me to read the sign, then he said, aloud, but to a co-worker, «She can’t read.» Of course, I asked him if he was talking about me. Of course, he shut right up. I stopped frequenting Starbucks several years ago, because their coffee is too bitter and they are too big of a monopoly here in the Bay Area. I’ve been visiting for the past week, because I had a gift card to use up and I like their new«flat white» beverage(even though they still don’t have almond milk). Bye, again, Sbux.

Yes, this location is close to work, which makes it very convenient. Their staff is friendly and I think they do a good job of moving people through the line, since this Starbucks can get very crowded. The barista’s here do a nice job. I also like the new look after their renovation. I also can’t recall them ever messing-up my drink order, so that’s worth a lot in my book.

Just blabbering … and wondering … Good service Nice service … it was Sat mid noon But, they were still great service. Rarely do you find Starbuck with wait staff Had the pleasure to tryout the powermat Starbucks … what’s more to say other than the size of the store … lobby, tiny takout, small, medium, large store or I could say lobby, tall, grande, venti, Buri This place is VENTI sized I must be bored … I don’t review Starbucks aka cookie cutter coffeehouse … was bored… I wish they have serveral different interior store design 3 or more and rotate, would have been fine… they all look alike … they could shove some local colors or design

Your typical downtown Starbucks. They are fast-paced and know how to crank out your coffee/treats in a timely fashion. Just quick enough to get you on your way to work.

This is one of about 1100 Starbucks on or Market Street. It is a block from the Palace Hotel, which made it super convenient for me, as a Palace guest. Despite being a fairly small store, and really crowded, the line moved quickly and the baristas were super cheerful. They deserve an extra star for being that cheerful at 0730 on a Friday morning.

Recently renovated Starbucks to create more space for seating and regulate the ordering line. Pro tip: unlike the old café model pre-remodeling, you need to go to the end of the café to get in line. I see people wait and lines start forming at the pick-up area sometimes. They should put a sign up with an arrow directing people. SETTING –Newly renovated café looks and feels brighter due to the new wallpaper. I like it! –Lots of small tables and high chair /booths for you to drink your coffee at. –Pro tip #2 — there are outlets under the bar table!!! Students, travelers, people in need of electric juice, goooo here! This is one of the more spacious Starbucks in the city. –Staff seems friendly and helpful. I’ve never had a problem an order at this location. What else… currently they are having a sale for their cold drink merchandise! Besides all of that — everyone should register their Starbucks gift card. Every purchase earns you a star and every 12 stars earns you a free drink! You have nothing to lose :) Thanks 74 Montgomery Starbucks for your delicious chai lattes :9

A relatively large Starbucks in the middle of downtown. Yes it’s quite large on the inside, but unfortunately not a lot of seats – most of the room is filled up by empty space. Because of the location, there are often folks who come in, sit without buying anything, and sometimes even just«doze off» in their seats for long periods of time. Wifi is not bad – it can get slow if there are lots of customers, but even then it’s faster than I would have expected. The coffee is also consistent. Can’t complain.

Highlights — One of the larger Starbucks that I have been to in the downtown area. — Plenty of seating, a lot more spacious than some others, and more offerings in terms of drinkware and goodies. — A lot more food items too, since they have about double the amount of window display for food items compared to some other locations. — I like that this location allows me plenty of space to wait for my drink, rather than having to stand awkwardly in what little space there is and having other patrons think that I am still in line. Improvements — With more space, it amounts to more people that frequent this location. Averaging about 5 or so people to even 10+ ahead of me on weekday mornings.(It does go by pretty quick though). Tip — Check out their drink specials on the chalkboard. If you encounter something you like, get it while it lasts. I wish some items would be available all year round.
