Storage Pro Self Storage

Having just moved from New York, I decided to store my boxes at Storage Pro. My experience was great. The manager, Tim, is a great guy, super professional, and provided fantastic customer service. Moving cross country was made easy by him. FedEx delivered straight to my storage unit, the unit was easily accessible, and the facilities were clean. Thanks, Tim!

Their move in special is an scam,
they force you to sign a 2 month lease at minimum, which is not in the ad, and won’t tell you about it on the phone, I moved from LA, and when I go there it was late to find another place.
the elevator is manual, so if some one takes it to 5 floor and doesn’t close the door properly, you have to ring a bell hoping they get back and release it. or walk up to 5^th floor and bring it down!
you have to sign a paper (for firefighter safety etc) when you come in and leave
the old guy working there is super nice and polite,

Super clean and convenient location if in SOMA. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Prices are great, and if I ever need another storage unit, this is the company I’ll rent from!

I’ve been renting a unit here for 7-​months and I love this place (never thought I’d say that about a storage place, but there it is!). I’ve rented other spaces in SF in years past, but the service and location here just can not be beat!
Will (the manager) has some of the best customer service skills ever. For example: I called once to ask about changing unit sizes. Person who answered was perfectly nice & helpful. Later that day, Will left me a voicemail explaining that the person I talked with is in training (I couldn’t tell), he left a bunch more details & options, and offered to help more if I called back. If only AT&T or [Name Almost Any Other Company] had such service, I would never leave them.
Plus, the in-​building parking is a nice bonus when you need to quickly stop by, pull something out of storage, and jet off.

Storage Pro is exactly what I need and has been great for the last 5+yrs I’ve been there. I’ve had to upgrade to larger units throughout that time and felt like I was always taken care of fairly. Plus, their staff is great! Always helpful and personable. Free parking is a major bonus too!
My only complaint is the access hours — I wish they would open a little earlier and stay open a little later — or have secondary access options for after hours.
All in all — Storage Pro ROCKS!

What I needed was a storage facility that made me feel like my stuff would be secure. What I got was a clean and well-​run facility, that sense of security, AND a friendly staff to make my comings and goings a pleasant experience.

I can’t say I have ever written a review for a storage place before, but hey there is a first time for everything and storage pro is THAT GOOD! They are the only place I visited in SF that took the time to show me my options and did not try and force me into a larger unit. The facilities are immaculate and well lit which was important for me. I did not want to go to some dingy place where I couldn’t see who was around the corner. They are professional and friendly and the best part — they have freshly baked cookies! Now who doesn’t love that?!?

This is my first time using a storage service and I’d have to say I would recommend Storage Pro if you need the room! There were several others in the area, but when I saw the reviews online and made several calls to different companies, I decided to go with them. Every single interaction with their employees has been incredibly helpful, friendly and personable and the units were well lit and clean.

This is a great storage facility with very helpful and courteous staff. Pretty much every interaction with this place is a pleasure which is not how I would usually describe storage.

This is an excellent storage facility. It’s always clean and the staff is friendly, professional and always helpful. They used to have fresh baked cookies but I haven’t seen them in a long time.
They are located right by my office so it is pretty convenient except when I have to go there on the weekends and when there is a Giants game.
We used to have a space with a slightly lower cost but the hours and location were not as convenient.
If they were open before 9am and stayed open past 6pm I would definitely upgrade to 5 stars. But overall we are really very satisfied.

Of the numerous services I’ve used in the two months I’ve been in SF, few have been as helpful as this Storage Pros location. Will goes out of his way to make sure customers understand what they’re getting and get what they want. I don’t doubt that there are cheaper options but few are as well run as this operation. He is friendly and trustworthy and provides great advice about storing and moving items as well as about the surrounding area.
The warehouse is very convenient to all downtown locations as well as Castro and the Mission. There is parking inside the structure so its proximity to AT&T Park should not be a big concern. There are always dollies for moving things between car and the storage unit. The elevator works fine and I’m always in and out in less than 10 minutes. The complimentary fresh-​baked cookies are a bonus.

Storage Pro is the place for your storage needs in SF. Clean space, professional staff and competitive rates. They provide great advice on your storage needs (help you to estimate the size of the unit you will need for your items).
There are several parking spots inside to accommodate loading and what not and there are several dollys available to move small and large items to/​from your vehicle and storage unit.
After hearing all the horror stories recently on the news about theft at other storage places, this place is a no-​brainer.

We were referred to Storage Pro by a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the personalized service and the friendliness of the staff. They make it a point to get to know their customers they keep track of people entering the facility which gives me peace of mind when it comes to storing something in the city.
The freshly baked cookies are a nice touch too.

Storage Pro is a great place to use for monthly storage. I shopped around before choosing Storage Pro, and they had the best rates I found. They are very responsive to email and phone calls. I had a few questions which I sent over email and they always responded within a half hour or less.
When I arrived to move in my stuff, the staff member on duty was very helpful and attentive. He was very busy, but managed to attend to all customers’ needs in a timely manner. I appreciated that he walked me up to my unit, demonstrated how to use the elevator and lock, and offered to do this anytime I came in.
I’m happy with my choice, and strongly recommend them to anyone who is shopping around.

Will at Storage Pro rocks! I only rented for a month (for work) and he was totally professional and accommodating. They have the best pricing in SoMa (I shopped around a little) and they seem the most organized!
We went in last weekend to pick up boxes and it was pretty busy. Although we had to wait a bit to pay, Jim was really apologetic and nice. If you are debating places similar in price and location– use Storage pro!

Something about the chilly outdoors makes you want to stay indoors more often, for longer hours… Cabin fever eventually got me cleaning out my closets and shelves but I didn’t want to throw away/​donate everything, especially not my old mementos, like high school yearbooks, old photo albums, etc.
After calling around one other place (at leas 30% more expensive for same/​comparable size unit), I found Storage Pro on Unilocal and the reviews were awesome. The great thing about them was that they had their rates up on their website — which made my life so much easier when deciding whether or not to select them for my storage needs. Thank you Storage Pro for making it easy for me to consider you.

* Clean facilities (and bathroom)
* Very low cost moving supplies
* Parking on the lot!!! (But you have to back your car out into the street)
* Super mellow and friendly workers. I called one time, no answer but they called back within the next 30 minutes and left me a message! And they predicted I was calling about the holiday hours (which I was) so they left me a message about that. Very cool.
* Easy to access storage rooms with many flatbeds for you to use.
* Month to month agreements — no long term contracts
* It’s never crowded there — like your very own personal storage garage
* In the city — I don’t have to drive to Brisbane or South City to get a good rate
I have loaded my belongings in the past week multiple times and each time, the quality of experience is consistently the same — super chill and cool. They’ve definitely got the art of customer service and storage facilities locked down. And the last time I caved in and ate the cookies!
I’m a totally real person and totally stumbled upon them as a result of Unilocal so like the rest of the gang, I too would also highly recommend them.

I HIGHLY recommend this place. I am a pretty picky person and did my research on storage places in the city by comparing prices, location, facility quality, and customer service attitude. I think I looked at 5 different places and this one by far won me over.
For the unit I have, and the overall facility itself, the prices is really good. However their customer service is what was a key differentiator. I visited this place several times and each person I had contact with here was very accommodating and willing to take the time to explain things to me. Other places, people were just grumpy and all out ghetto and super slow. They always provide yummy cookie treats whenever I walk in to make me feel very welcome.
If you need a place to store things, this is the place!
