We were starving from flight and checking in hotel. Walked around and just needed a quick bite to eat before heading back to hotel and starting our tour of San Francisco. This place was busy but small. Staff was pretty slow. There was no ice in fountain machine. We ate and left.

Came here for lunch on my break. This place was dirty, the female employee was rude, and the worst part… their toaster was broken.

I actually like eating Subway sandwiches. I know I’m a total weirdo but I grew up eating them and there’s something comforting about a tasteless turkey sub with a bag of chips. It’s my comfort food… I arrived to my hotel at 11pm and thought that a 6″ turkey sub would be the perfect late night dinner. Boy was I wrong as I just had the worst Subway sandwich of my life! The bread was so stale that I couldn’t even eat more than a bite without spitting it out. I wanted to go low carb, but not like this! I threw away the bread and sadly ate my sandwich insides. Womp womp womp goes the sad panda. I’m sooooooo hungry and disappointed. Jared help me!

I think subways are okay when they’re prepared right. This one is on the pricier side. Staff not friendly, no greetings… i learned my lesson to find a cleaner better tasting subway…

Disaster. The staff don’t speak English, don’t know the difference between bread, toast, and charcoal, and didn’t know that an Italian sandwich had ANY meat in it.

Came here to grab a quick bite to eat and it was anything but quick. The girl who was making my sandwich seemed preoccup with something else and I had to repeat myself 4 times to get black olives added to the sandwich. My little brother asked for some more bbq sauce on his BBQ Oven roasted chicken mely because the guy loading the sandwich didn’t add enough and the girl rudely said thry dont have any.(It was sitting on the opposite side and she did not want to grab it. And when I pointed out that it was there she appeared irritated with me for doing so… I would be careful if the Latina woman who works here is the one making your sandwich. Wont be visitng here again because of her.

This Subway is what you’d expect from a city fast food place. Not much room, eclectic customers, and fast. Very fast: 7 people ahead of me and I think I was paying in under 2′. I ordered the BLT out the door with a 12″ for $ 6.55. Nice. For a complete experience, grab one of the three seats at the window to people watch or grab your sandwich to go and walk down market st.

This is a franchised Subway location, you already have an expectation of what you’re going to get. This location is in a very busy downtown intersection, of course it’s going to be crowded if you come during peak hours. I eat here at least once a week and have never had a sandwich that was below Subway standards. They are also the only location in the area which allows student discounts with a college ID.

As much as I want to give this Subway more than just two stars, I can NOT go w/o saying how paraded this location is by homeless and cheap wannabe thugs who hang out by the entrance, who have the nerve to make themselves comfortable inside the already small space w/o purchasing anything! The food was good and employees were friendly, however, if I ever come back it will definitely only be to grab my food and run the hell out of there before I get harassed again by undesirables to buy them food! I’m sorry, but a good place to eat can easily be ruined by location -.-#

Slow! Cold sandwiches that should be hot, homeless people lounging around, employees arguing over what the specials actually are. Why do I come here? I don’t, I go to Quiznos across the street!

I’m not a Subway fan at all, but I was desperate for a quick breakfast sandwich on my way to a training class across the street at the Westin. I ordered the egg, bacon, & cheese flatbread. The service was slow(even though there was only 1 person in front of me) but I watched as she made my sandwich & placed it in the oven. The cheese melted & it looked good to me. I get to my training class ready to grub & the sandwich is ice cold. How do you make a sandwich where the cheese is melted but everything else is cold? I have no idea. I ate it cuz I was hungry & thought that it might have been decent if it was at least lukewarm. It saved me from passing out from hunger since the verbose trainer didn’t let us out until almost 2:00 for lunch, but I won’t be back.

So, I’m all talk. I complain about how inconsistent this location is yet I keep going back. Convenience wins time and time again, although, that may change since they’ve raised the price of sandwiches by $ 0.75.

Small hole in the wall Subway restaurant that’s Open 24hrs. It’s more of a to-go kind of place. Sandwiches aren’t that amazing, but they’re cheap and fast. Sometimes there’s a line out the door for this place.

Subway is running a promotion this October where any foot long sub is $ 5 except for premium/double meat subs. I ordered a foot long Oven Crisp Chicken sandwich and much to the my surprise, the lady at the register rung me up at $ 6. I explained and pointed to their banner ad explaining the terms of Subway’s october promotion, but they wouldn’t budge. I went to Subway’s website and decided to file a complaint. A couple of days later, the owner of his particular Subway franchise contacted and apologized for the error. I was comped a foot long sandwich. Now that’s what I call great customer service!

What the hell!!! Today was my worst experience ever! Line was out the door– no problem here. It is lunch time after all. I came at 1:30pm. The problem was that it moved super slow. This is quite unusual here. The line always moves quickly here. Finally it’s my turn. I place my order, it goes into the toaster and out. Now I see why the line was moving so slow. The two Latina girls kept chatting with each other the whole time, My sandwich was sitting there unattended and cooling off. The girl putting on my veggies and sauce wasn’t even looking at my sandwich. She was leaning over and looking and talking to the other girl. Un-freaking-believable! I had to ask for more sauce cuz she hardly even squeezed any sauce on there. Then she seemed kinda ticked off that I asked for more sauce. Really!!! The guy in front of me that was paying was slowly counting all his pennies out loud to the cashier. The cashier than said«it’s ok. I’ll just charge you $ 5.» And they’re out of steak today! They’re probably being cheap and only having a certain amount each day during October for their all $ 5 footlong deal. Their tomatoes today taste like shit! I kid you not. It has a funny taste to it. I had to pick them(3 tiny slices) all out. I haven’t been here for awhile but they now have these yellow shovels to scoop out the chicken, etc. Remember before when each serving came in its own white cardboard tray. Yea, that’s gone now. So basically, you get less meat. I think this place went through a management change. Everything is not the same anymore. I guess if I want Subway, I’ll have to haul my ass to another location.

LAdy with attitude and was handling peoples sandwiches in a bad way. Leaving you off when making a sandwich basically ignoring me randomly. Waiting to pay my food like for 2 minutes. The sandwich was REALLY good YES but this time for some reason the service was bad. I always came here but they are making me not come. Will I come back again yes only if near by. I would give it a 1 star BUT the sandwich was delicious.

Ok, Subway is Subway. The whole point of a chain is to have consistency. Thus, I’m not gonna waste time describing it. If you dig Subway, then you’ll likely dig the food here. My problem with this place is the service. It is verging on incredible. As in, incredibly bad. There was a young woman in front of me the other day who, when it was her turn, asked the woman for a Club with pastrami(or something) instead of roast beef(or some other meat — I can’t remember). Ok, the woman just looked at her and said«No.» The customer then said again«Um… I’ve done this before — that’s what I’d like» and the worker again was like«No, we would never do that». So this back and forth went on for a bit(my jaw was dropped the whole time.) Finally, they worked it out. I was like«biatch, please. It’s a subway — you put shiat on after they tell you what they want. This woman wants some freaky pastrami club sandwich. I know it’s not Burger King but make that shiat her way» Alright, then there was me today. 1. No onions. 2. No chocolate chip cookies I ask about the onions — well… do you have more in the back or something? The woman just says«none». But then, some quasi-manager comes out and I ask again. This time the sandwich maker goes over to the manager to ask for real. Lame. So… as much of a Subway fan as I am, I’m thinking of paying the extra buck or two and going somewhere seriously better — Speciality’s.

This is a shoebox-sized Subway franchise. It has competition from the Quiznos across the street, and you can usually see people leaving one for the other if lines get too long. $ 5 foot long sandwiches, «the works,» etc. You’ve seen it at other Subways, and its much the same here.
