Affordable, quick lunch

Came in here on a Friday for lunch. I initially assumed that the whole plaza was closed because of the construction for the super market and Walgreens. But the pizza place, Hertz, and Subway is still open! Came in, no one was really in there. Then again I came at 4. There was one guy working there, and let’s say he’s not that great with customer service. He had a really small voice too. Subway is like your regular Subway. I was bummed that they didn’t have White choco macadamia cookie but what can you do.
My sandwich: 6 inch
— Wheat oat
— Pastrami
–Bacon
— Spinach
— Jalapeño
— Honey mustard
Not that bad. Paid about $ 6~ for a 6inch and one cookie. They charge extra for Bacon depending on the size of the sandwich that you get. But can’t complain!

This Subway is small and has about ten seats, but closes at 10pm. It is located near a 24Hr-​Fitness (
) so you may kill two birds with one stone by grabbing a healthy sandwich after working out, like I sometimes do. Unfortunately, the tastiest sandwiches have 800‑1200 calories. Gym fail, lol.
Note it is located at the Oceanview Shopping Center/​Apartment Complex, which means plenty of parking.

I love subway but this is by far the worst Subway I’ve ever been to! They are so shady with the toppings it’s ridiculous. I swear it felt like they were counting the veggies as they were adding it to my sandwich. Most Subways I’ve been to will grab the veggies by the handful but this place will grab what they can between the thumb and pointer (basically a pinch) and that’s all the veggies you will get. I wonder if the managers told them to do that… It literally looked like my sandwich was on a diet with how thin they made it.
You’ve been warned! Avoid this location at all costs!

Nice, clean little subway in a convenient location. When I head towards 280 North from DC, this a convenient stop to grab a sub. The workers are pretty nice and attentive compared to some other subways — the most inattentive and clueless employees of any business I have every dealt with were subway employees at other locations. The place is clean, and has some seating.
There is a Bally’s gym right by, which must be good for those who want some fast food after a workout, but are still health conscious.

It’s cheap, fast and healthy. The only complaint I have for subways is not enough meat. I always double my meat every time I come here.

5 Dolla Footlong!

Typical Subway restaurant. They always have my bread on hand and the ingredients are fresh and never taste spoiled.
It is like every other Subway restaurant you can find across this country. Only real issue is that it is a small place and the line tends to get out of hand if you arrive during a busy period.

Can’t go wrong with a Subway sandwich. Located in the Oceanview plaza, so it is easy to find parking and get in and out. Been getting our Subway fix from this location for some time now and every time has been good.

This place sucks. I just went there to get a sandwich and they’re closed. It’s 9:30… And they’re closed. There holiday hours say Christmas Eve 10−6p and closed Christmas Day. The store hours say they open at 7am today.
When they are open, they give you 3 jalapeños or any vegetable for that matter and get pissy when you ask for more.

Great location for a subway, right off the 280 and there’s plenty of parking.
Fast and friendly service with great sandwiches (compared to other Subway locations I’ve been to).
Have not had any complaints so far from my trips to this Subway! Definitely recommend.

I need to keep reminding myself Subway provides a delicious, healthy sandwich alternative to other fast food joints because, for the Chicken Pizziola Melt, it was lacking whatever Italian zestiness it’s supposed to have. Don’t get me wrong: half of the footlong was filling and I enjoyed my sub, but there’s nothing special about their «Italian Collection.» Again, I forgot to ask if they could add more veggies into my sub.
Concerning their serving sizes, I found that my sub was underweight by 2.5 ounces compared to the expected weight as given on their site for nutrition information. Yes, I actually used a food scale, and that could’ve been an extra piece of chicken!

Fast friendly service.

Convenient location, lots of parking, and friendly service. They also have a restroom for customers. The bread is generally fresh, but I’ve gone late at night to have hard crusty bread.
My only complaint is that they are pretty stingy with ingredients.
Good last minute, healthy meals.

Convenient location for me, mainly because the parking is VERY easy to find. the workers here are usually nice so i don’t have any complaints.
Foot long wheat bread, oven roasted chicken breast, swiss cheese toasted, chipotle sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, jalapenos, salt and pepper. My go to sandwich. (spicy italian with the same condiments also bomb as well)

I’m not sure why they have good ratings here. Must have been a change of owners or something… Seriously, speak up people!!!

Okay so after I got a msg from this guy (5 days ago here on Unilocal) confirming this Subway’s crappy service and nasty old food, I’ve decided to update so you guys know where to find a good Subway ALTERNATIVE.

Best workers and sandwiches there. Positive attitude, friendly workers, and no cheap@$$ing on the ingredients. Even if they don’t want to give you the extra stuff, they don’t give you an attitude.

How could it have crappier rating than this location? No idea. A recent post rating 2 star mentioned that it’s small and hard to find. Well, seriously that has nothing to do with the service or food quality. The restaurant is clean and everything is neat and fresh… I worry about what goes in my belly more than how convenient located this place is. If you take the bart, it’s about a block away off Daly City station. If you have a damn car, there’s free parking in the complex and it’s right next to Starbucks coffee. Not hard to find if you actually go to the movies :) HOW HARD IS IT??? GOOD SUB~ All worth it in the end. :’)

this subway is so convenient. easy to find parking. next to the old rite aid /​new walgreens and couple feet from that asian supermarket that use to be an albertsons. Nice workers here and nothing much to complain about at all. I go in and out and BAM done deal.
except, first time i came here, marinara meatball sandwich gave me a bad stomach ache. hence the –1 star. BUT, since then, i’ve been satisfied every time.

$ 5.00 foot longs…
This, as much as anything tells me how the economy is doing.
Forgive the digression:
I remember way back in the year 20 ought 3, I rented a car for a little over $ 150.00 for the weekend to drive down to San Diego in order to see my family.
I stopped in Sunnyvale to get food for the trip down on the 101 (I rented a convertible and the drive was supper sweet) at a Subway.
They were having their seasonal promotion of 3 foot long sammiches for $ 10.00.
It really was a great deal.
Now they have $ 5.00 foot longs and I’m missing a sammich for every two that I buy.
It’s not like I have a great deal more money…
Still, it’s a great deal, relatively speaking.
Hmmm, did I just sound old or is anybody as pissed as I am?
Anyway, like most Subways, the staff is friendly well trained and fast.

One of the smallest Subway stores I’ve ever seen. But they have the $ 5 footlong. Otherwise, pretty standard subway.
The only problem I have is that my bread was stale. The top part was hard. And crunchy. Not burnt. Just seems like they left it out in the open for a little while or something. I’ve been eating subway since I first started chewing regular food as a baby and I’ve never had stale bread before. Crazy.
But this is right below my apartment. So I’m sure I’ll be back often. Hope the bread is better next time.
