Needed a super quick lunch so walked into this subway. No wait. The older man who works there mumbles and is barely audible. Yet he gets annoyed because you don’t understand his mumble jumble. Gives you an attitude. seriously, not everyone has the Subway menu memorised. So yes, I need some time to look through the menu and decide what fixings I want. Don’t get mad at your customer because you’re grumpy.

This place doesn’t even feel like a Subway. There was an old elderly couple that is far from friendly manning the place; they are definitely not about customer service. I went in there just looking for a couple of cups so I decided to buy some chips and ask for cups if the old man was nice enough. Nope he charged for 2 cups with no soda. If you went to hell and there’s a Subway franchise there, it’ll be run by these people because it’s that bad. They have like 2 choices of bread out of 5. Always. Do not support promotions without an argument. They skimp on everything possible. They count the sesame seeds if it was a topping. 1 napkin per customer. Ask for more and they give you the finger. Thought they were Chinese, talked to them in mando and canto, they looked me like«what the sh-??» so they’re probably not. Hours of operations are random. They seem to hate life and each breath they have to take. Is this a front for… like a meth lab or something? How are they in business still?! Who in the world would eat there when you can go to SAFEWAY for a sammich?!? Sub(standard)way vs Safeway, you decide.

The worst Subway i’ve been to. I don’t know why they skimp so much on the food. You get more in your sandwich in downtown locations than at this one. There are so many other sandwich alternatives.

I’ve been quite a few Subway restaurants. So for the month of December, Subway had this promotion called Customer Appreciation Month. Where they’re selling 6″ Cold Cut Combo Sub or 6″ Meatball sub for $ 2 each. I go in to make an order for two 6″ Cold Cut Combos just like I have been with various other Subway Restaurants in SF. And I usually get charged $ 4 plus tax. After the«cook» got my sandwich ready, another person at the register rung me up at over $ 5 and change. I asked, isn’t it $ 2 for each sandwich? They said NO, it’s a foot long so we have to charge the Foot long price. I told them, I ordered TWO of the $ 2 cold cut combo, not a foot long. Which is exactly the same as a footlong cold cut combo cut in half. Essentially, the cashier was saying that since it’s wrapped together, it’s sold as a foot long. Then I told him to unwrap it and rewrap it separately, because I ordered TWO6 inch. They not wanting to unwrap and rewrap, they finally sold it to me for $ 2 each. It’s was like arguing about how to pronounce tomato or to-mah-toe. Same thing. Totally not about customer service at this restaurant. What kind of «Customer appreciation» is this going on? If I was a customer that didn’t know about the six inch $ 2 promotion and ordered a foot long of the same thing at a higher cost, wouldn’t you think that a cashier would point out there’s a sale and make customer happy at the saved cost? Not here. Now lets talk about the quality of the sandwich. Like I said before, I’ve ordered quite a few of the 6 inch cold cut combo for lunch at other Subways. I know the size of it and how full the veggies are loaded on. It was my first time at THIS Subway and when I got the order, the sandwich is small. Honestly, at first, I couldn’t even see the meat under the few veggies they placed on. Usually when you’re eating a subway sandwich, there’s a good amount of stuff in the bread where you can see the fillings in it. In this case, it was like a costco hotdog wrapped in a way where you can’t even see the hotdog. Just all bun and bread. I had to open up the bun to see if there was anything inside. No kidding. Other Subway are always loaded with veggies and mean at the instant you unwrap it. I’m not going to go here again.

I certainly don’t expect a great sandwich from any Subway but sometimes convenience wins. I agree with all the comments about how terrible the customer service(or lack of) here is. The people who run/own this particular Subway don’t seem to care at all about their customers. Not necessarily rude but in no way are they even a little bit polite. There are plenty of other places in the city to get a good, really good sandwich.

Just another crappy Subway. This one is possibly even more crappy than most. I was running out of time on my lunch break after running errands and thought I would give it a shot. As I should have expected, my sandwich was flavorless and unsatisfying.

730pm on a Friday and Im seriously craving some tuna after my wisdom teeth surgery. I check online to see when they’re open and it says 10pm. Now I dont want to walk all the way down there and they’re closed considering the pain I’m in. So I called. They said they’re open till 9. Cool So I get there at 8. They’re closed. The sign on the door says 9pm. There’s people inside but they shoo me away. This exact scenario has happened twice at the parkmerced location. Employees, I get that your manager probably left early and you want to close up and go home early. But come on. An hour early? AFTER I called?! Now I’m about to go on another adventure to find some f@#!ing tuna!

He is so rude and yells at customer. He doesn’t like children. It is weird. My niece gets one straw and he looks so angry on that. Funny. Customers have no right to ask in front of him. When we think to order, he is not patient. I have never seen before. So terrible. No come back again for sure. Food? Not fresh. So I realize that subway is no customers and got bad review. No wonder. They deserve it.

Ratings too low considering this place compared to subways(restaurants) in downtown it’s really good. There are subways wayyyy worse than this one, you’ll appreciate it here once u go to a downtown one. Now it’s a little streaky, the guy to me personally I like, Nobody from any other subway I been knows how to wrap a sub on flatbread correctly but him. Other subways, the sub falls apart on flatbread, but he makes it like perfectly in place. He doesn’t skimp on the toppings and meat but sometimes he does, I bet his wife tells him to put less. When his wife makes my sub it’s light, when he makes it, it’s packed and damn good. Service I don’t care all you want is your sub but they do say thank you. Harsh reviews just had bad incidents, but like I said there are other subways that make this one seem like a 5 star.

Awful awful awful. The lady took my order and her attitude was so bad… I wanted to leave but since I was hungry and limited on time, I decided to just suck it up. Food was awful. She barely put anything in my sandwiches… my god. This is the WORSTWORSTWORST subway you can go to. AVOIDTHISPLACE! Food was horrible. Service is ridiculously bad. Bad experience. Old stingy asian couple runs this joint. I said light jalapenos… the man literally gave me TWO jalapenos. Meticulously counted 3 salami slices. Not to mention he moves 1 mile per hour. He gave me one napkin. I asked him for a few more… I got one more. They were not personable in the least bit. As far as the food goes… Its the run of the mill subway stuff. A little too stingy with the portions. I will not come back

I visited this subway and the couple working there was very rude. I politely requested a substitution(for something that was actually cheaper) and instead of just saying no, they glared at me and hurried me to buy. I tried to calm them down politely and then the man barked at me. At this point I stopped being polite by flat out telling him not to act this way, which was the only way to calm him down. I want to make it clear that this is not a cultural or language barrier. Some people might assume this, but this couple knew what I was saying and reacted this way.

The first two times I came here, I wanted to kick the couples butt! Too straight forward in the way they spoke to me. I came in thinking I could use a debit card but it’s cash only. I said I’d never come back but I changed my mind. I really like it now because I kind of understand that they are a couple just trying to make their money and they keep the store very clean. My food is always good and I have even made the lady laugh. The man is definitely not cheerful but I don’t have high expectations from a Subway chain store, period. I went to another location and it was SO terrible. They made this establishment seem heaven sent. My order is always correct, I pay with cash and I leave. Just order, pay, leave.

I should have read the reviews before coming to this dump… Worse experience ever… We ask for something and got yelled at and once we asked to not be yelled at, he yelled even more! I have my two little cousins with me. She only wanted to know if she could have a glow stick that worked, she’s a little girl. And then gets yelled at??? Wow… So not ever coming here… I put a one star because I’m forced to in order to review. Ugh!

It’s clean. There’s a bathroom. 99.9% chance of available seats. 99% chance they’ll have what you want. Only one around within a ~2 mile distance. It gets the subway fix done. I don’t walk in here expecting a friendly greeting like on TV. My goal: in, order without complications, pay, and out. Yours should be too or else you’ll be greatly disappointed. What I don’t like is that the sandwiches have the bare minimum of everything, but the sauce. The sauce you get gallons of. I recently ordered a sandwich because I wanted something«healthy» and quick. When it came to rolling out the veggies for my foot long, she grabbed a pinch full of spinach leaves and she saw me look at the uncovered spot on the sandwich and picked up ONE piece of spinach to cover that surface. Then when it came to the green bell peppers, I got about 5 that she neatly aligned. Next came the cucumbers and tomatoes and I only got 4 of those, two on each side. I wanted to ask for more, but it wasn’t worth the breath for just a single piece. Ever wonder how thin you can slice a tomato without it falling apart? Come here to check it out! I’m not sure why this subway is so particular about how much they put in the sandwich. If you load it up, wouldn’t that make people want to come back more often? Also, aren’t these«leaves» and such usually inexpensive anyways? The owners boggle my mind. P. S. They will charge you 10 cents for a bag when you take your sandwiches to go.

The last last time I was here I swore I would not come back here because I had the worst experience at any subway. Came here today because I was very hungry. The lady made my sandwich and was it the smallest subway sandwich ever! She literally put a thin layer of everything I asked for on the sandwich. This lady is so stingy!

If I could give a minus 5 stars, I would! I After reading other people’s reviews, I will never go back to this location. They don’t honor promotions & the gentleman was very rude. I went to there only because I was very hungry & didn’t have much cash. When I wanted to order the 6 inch meatball sub, the gentleman said that the store will not honor the promotion that the meatball or cold cut is only $ 2.00 for the month of December. So I just left & went to another Deli instead. I had a conversation with a friend telling him what I encountered & said the same thing that the couple who runs the restaurant are cheap. So in closing, if you really want go to Subway, don’t go to this!!! I hope this place gets shutdown ASAP!!! The employees there give Subway a bad name!
