It’s subway. Get a steak and cheese and keep it moving. Never too crowded and plenty of seating. Just a nice touch to add to the campus. There are daily specials and that is about the only highlight. You been to one to have been to the all. When most food places are closed this place can be found OPEN.

This place is really bad. The staff is really fucking rude. They seem like they don’t even want to be there at all. You go in and they just have that«wtf do you want» face. Like can you at least smile? It’s already bad for us to even buy from this location. Besides that the food is the same as every other place nothing special

I entered Subway and was looking for late night snack. I ordered my sandwich and as soon as I got to the condiments and veggie add ons, a different subway employee was asked if she could finish up my sandwich. I already told the previous subway employee that I wanted everything but jalapeños, he then transferred that information to her. Immediately, she back up and said«Oh no. I don’t want to do that.» She refused to finish up sandwich because maybe I asked for everything on my sandwich or she’s lazy. That wasn’t really a big deal until the customer ahead of me oversaw and heard what had happen. The customer and subway employee that didn’t want to make my sandwich started to have conversation, about«some people shouldn’t have choices». Am I really that picky? Isn’t subway all about picking what you want on your sandwich? I can’t believe they were talking about me and about not having«choices». I’m paying for this and I am going get what I paid for. It was so messed of the subway employee to be talking about«not having choices». Never eating here again. Also, she rude af yells at her employees.

So many drunk and delirious nights here… No matter how many times I vomited out the subway from being too drunk. I always found my way back. This is a special subway, it holds many nostalgic memories of my special time in college.

One star is way too generous for this place, but unfortunately, Unilocal doesn’t allow you to give NEGATIVE5 stars. First of all, the staff is completely rude. I know they must be miserable because they hate their job, but would it kill them to serve their customers WITHOUT an attitude? I wish I could have gotten the names of the two people who«served» me because I would gladly call them out on Unilocal for their crappy customer service(they were working around 9:40pm~ish on a Tuesday). Second of all, I’m willing to bet that the managerial staff here is incompetent. It’s finals week here at SFSU, and this Subway is one of only two dining establishments on campus that is opened past 7pm. Keeping this in mind, you would think that they would be prepared for a higher volume of customers because of the students staying on campus later. But nope, I went there and they were out of pretty much everything. What kind of jokers run this place? Overall, save yourself the sanity and just go across to the Village Market.

If I could give it negative stars I would… This place is awful! The sandwiches smell like a dirty rag, the employees never smile and when I asked for a cup of water I was told they are all out of cups for water. She went on to tell me that they count their drink cups so she couldn’t give me any other cups!!! I asked for the manager and guess what … She is the manager! This place has bad food and awful service… For a decent sandwich at a reasonable price go to Café Rosso!!! Just avoid this place and if you decide to eat here pinch your nose to avoid the smell of dirty rags and bleach!

This place is crap. Employees are rude and hate their job. Half the students who go in there are stoned off their mind and take 10 minutes to figure out which cookies they want with their sandwich. The always run out of the popular breads, the soda machine is FLAT, and sanitation is TERRIBLE.

God, I hate this Subway. Some of the staff are nice but a few of them are really rude. I don’t want to call anyone out but let’s just say that they’re a big part of the reason I’ll go elsewhere for lunch.(Like to any of the 9,000 other places to eat around campus. It’s a wonder they stay in business.) Not only is the customer service spotty, the bread is almost always stale. Even toasting it doesn’t help.

Eh. It’s not the worst and it’s by far not the best. It’s a campus Subway and that’s all you need to know. In contrast to some of the reviews, the few times I’ve been to this Subway they do participate in the monthly promotions as see on TV. The taste is what you expect from a Subway as they’re all the same. I guess my only problem with the on campus Subway is the service. You either get really friendly service or nothing at all. I don’t mind you being rude. It’s a horrible job. I get it, but please, please, don’t take it out on my sandwich!

The first thing I would like to point out, just so that all you readers out there can go forward with your lives a little better informed about state law, is that it’s perfectly legal for a restaurant to refuse to serve tap water in the great state of California. Or to charge for it. To those who think otherwise, try remembering where you«read» that little factoid. Because it’s a myth. My source: That said, it’s a remarkably stupid business practice. Restaurants who try to pull it will lose business and get slammed in reviews(like this one). … but this place has a captive audience, and I’m a member of it. It’s the only place on campus open that late, and the sandwiches are edible… So they probably won’t suffer noticeably for it. There ain’t no justice…

Probably the worst food-quality I’ve ever seen out of a Subway. Either the employees don’t speak English, which is fine, or do speak it and are just very rude, which isn’t. They don’t serve tap water, which is illegal. They use underage labor, which is illegal.

«Febru-any» my ass. This subway never participates on any of the deals they advertise in the commercials. They don’t offer any 5 dollar footlongs right now which is the only reason I go here. They used to offer a lot of different 5 dollar varieties but now they have none. Not even the basic BLT or Turkey. The service isn’t that great either. The lady making my sandwich was ok but the girl at the cashier NEVER smiles and grabs the money out of your hand and give you your change and thats it. No thank you or no smile. Overall, they are the only decent sandwich place I can find on campus so extra star for them but I’m sure once Ike’s opens in Ceaser Chavez, this place will go downhill and they will have to lower prices to draw customers.

A fat asian lady, Geraldine who works at this subway is extremely rude when she’s taking an order. I was taking«a long time», which was only about 5 seconds or so, deciding on my ingredients and she has the nerve to tell me to hurry up. After that she started making this sound like, «AYYY!!!» when I wanted honey mustard on my sandwich. Good thing I kept the receipt so I can tell her manager about how horribly she treats customers. F*** you Geraldine and I hope you lose your job. I’ll make sure of it, actually.

I’m not a big fan of this Subway. Why? Read on. First off, they don’t offer a cup for tap water. Although I’ve heard that this is not illegal, it’s still ridiculous. Secondly, late at night(and by late at night, I mean past midnight), one of the employees who works here is what looks like a 12 year old kid. Now I’ve heard that if you’re a relative of the owner, then you can work at any age, but I mean he’s a 12 year old kid! He should be sleeping at this hour, not working! In general, the employees here are not friendly, except for maybe one or two select employees. Some of them speak very poor English, and it’s hard to communicate with them what you want at times. The only good things about this place are its location(it’s close to the student housing areas), and the fact that’s it’s open 24/7, so if you’re cramming for finals at 3am and you need a break, you can come down here and get a sandwich. The food itself is just okay. Not bad but not good. Just average. 1 star

Ok… 2 stars only cuz it’s Subway and my parents own one in LA, but 0 stars for their employees speaking in Tagolog 24⁄7 Some concerns: 1) How is subway opened 24⁄7 and considered to «EATFRESH»? 2) Tell me why when I asked the sandwich artist ladies(when I was hella wasted ordering a sandwich) to stop speaking in tagolog cuz it was rude, and she said«but we’re not talking about you?» I think I caught her off guard with that question, but someone’s gotta say it. 3) The bathroom is never opened 4) NO water cups? Overall, shut up with that tagolog and get water cups cuz it’s a recession.

All items on the menu are very much similar to what you would expect to see at other Subway Sandwich Shops. 4 stars for being right on the San Francisco State University Campus and opening 24 hours. This Subway is open 24 hours? Maybe during the regular school year they’re open 24 hours. They are open during the summer as well but with shorter hours! 5÷16÷2014: They are open week nights past 10 pm or 11 pm and also on weekends. It’s of convenience when you’re on campus and in need of a quick bite. They’re now a Wi-Fi hotspot — PROPS for this amenity. Look for this sticker on the front door. 7÷31÷2014: Current hours of operation as listed on Sunday 7 am — 12 am Monday 7 am — 12 am Tuesday 7 am — 12 am Wednesday 7 am — 12 am Thursday 12 am — 12 am Friday 12 am — 12 am Saturday 12 am — 12 am

I have to agree with the other Unilocalers. This place is good for a cheap sandwich when you’re starving, but thats about it. The customer service is HORRIBLE! I was PISSED last time I came. I came in around 10:55, but I need to get to the Ethnic Studies building by 11:00ish(to get a good seat). So I run in, and I’m kinda jumpy. I look at the worker, they make eye contact with me, then continues to yell and laugh with her worker. Taking her sweet time to do everything else she was doing. Finally, she looks at me and says, «BREAD?!» I told her my order. «TOASTED?!» She toasts it, then the she goes to the back again, and continues to laugh and yell with her co-worker. The toaster is beeping, again, she takes her SWEETASSTIME. She takes out the sandwich and places it on the counter in front of the veggies. I tell her the ingredients I wanted, and she throws them on the sandwich like she was throwing away garbage, trying to do it quick(even though the place was EMPTY). After I paid, I ran out to get to class. Never coming back again. Luckily, there is a Subways by my house that is 1000000000 better.

I come here because it’s at school and sometimes I want a cheap sandwich. But geez I hate it because of the workers! The girls that work here don’t know a damn thing about customer service, probably because they are foreign. They yell NEXT! instead of «Hi can I take your order» F*** that. Learn how to speak english, clean your ears so you can understand people’s orders correctly, and learn how to make a damn sandwich! the mayo isn’t only supposed to be on the left side… it should be everywhere IDIOTS!

As much as I crave Subway most of the time when I’m at school, I try to avoid this place at times just because they never get my order right. I asked red onions on my sandwich but the guy gave me peppers instead? I don’t understand how they red onions were peppers. Only good thing about this place is that they open late than the other food places on campus besides the Village. Don’t forget to use your Subway card so you can earn points to get a free sandwich.

Not only is the customer service bad, but downright HOSTILE!, Matthew actually mentioned in the previous post about this guy and his description was dead fuc**n on. I haven’t been here in months but I hope that jerk is fired. with that said, if you were really hungry or had the munchies, you’d eat a fat saturated American burger instead of have one of those employees f**k your day up and serve you those watered down ass sandwiches 5dollar footlong my ass, the guy obviously has a 5dollar dildo up his ass when serving customers go to the market instead
