The chicken teriyaki was terrible. They use chicken breast, which looked like it was carved from a whole chicken, the sauce was soy sauce heavy and really salty. They barely gave any rice too. I did order the combo for 6.50 + tax, which came with with CA roll. The roll was a little better, but still old and not fresh. Better to avoid this place.

This place is okay. usually the food is pretty good and it’s convenient for people living on campus. It’s not the greatest thing ever, but it’s decent. I like the teriyaki chicken bowls, those are usually pretty good. and it fills me up. Miso soup… hmm the first couple times I had it were good, the next couple. not so much. It’s really watered down and they put tons of seaweed. I think they just started making burgers here too, I’ve had one which wasn’t so bad but I was starving. Anything’s good when you’re that hungry. I don’t ever have sushi or anything like that. I’ll still go here when I want something quick and simple.

Just.no. Food is definitely not good, and it’s overpriced for the portion you get. If you can, just walk to Stonestown and go to Tokyo Express.

Meh. Nothing special. Reminds me of the sushi rolls from the grocery store.

I got really excited to have a place on campus with ramen and sushi, but this place, like most others on campus, is a let-down. I had the Ahi Poke before, which wasn’t bad, but the ramen… oh the ramen… There was something seriously off with the ramen. The broth tasted really strange, almost like soap or something. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but it was disgusting. And the noodles were undercooked, and just sat in a huge hunk in the nasty broth. Stick to the sushi and rice bowls. They’re not terrible. But avoid the ramen at all costs.

Cooool, a place that isn’t packed! I came here today and got the salmon teriyaki with the vegetable gyoza… The sushi seems pretty cheap, but none of the options seemed all that appealing to me(I’m exclusively attracted to the Lion King Roll, which they dont have, lol). Anyway, the salmon teriyaki was pretty good. The rice is pretty«meh», but if you mix everything up, the sauce will drown out the flavor of the rice. I expected the salmon to look like a brick that was thrown on a stove, thank goodness it didn’t :D The gyoza was green O_O! Pretty neat! They were really oily and crispy, so I liked them, but I don’t know if they’re worth a dollar a piece. The sauce that came with the gyoza is disgusting… They should give out sweet and sour sauce, not the weird spicy stuffs.

I havent tried their food yet, but I was sent here to get a menu for my office to order take-out. They dont have menus to take… So i asked if they had a website I could look up, they didnt have that either. Service was really nice because the cashier said she was sorry, and will make note of it to the manager.

This is yet another disappointment on the SFSU campus. I’ll give it to them though, they tried. The sushi actually looks appetizing. I came in a few weeks ago starved. After seeing the prepacked sushi from this restaurant offered in the Student Center’s mini mart I decided to walk down and check this place out. It was cold so I actually opted for the $ 5 – 6 spicy Korean ramen rather than sushi, for which I already had a gut feeling about. Well, the broth was close to blood red and steamy with a fragrant peppery smell, a good indication of spiciness. The noodles tasted like your standard Top Ramen noodles, but these weren’t thoroughly cooked since they were fused together in a large heavy lump which I couldn’t even bite through since they were uncooked in the center of the bulge. The soup also contained pathetic little bits of carrot and peas. The broth was hot as hell, but unfortunately that was the only good part of the soup. Also, I received not one but two coupons for $ 1 towards my next purchase. Both coupons were expired. They do accept credit with no minimum, something we need much more of on campus.

Sushi on campus? Sweet. At least thats what I thought when I heard about this place. Reality didnt quite live up to my hopes, but I’ll still take it. This place has like 3 tables, a selection of bottled drinks(mostly asian), and a menu including sushi, teriyaki, and soups. Prices are basically 4 – 7 dollars for sushi. They seem to have 3 daily specials which are Chicken Teriyaki with 6pcs california roll, salmon teriyaki with 6pcs california roll, and something else. Normal rolls have 8pcs. Enough with the technicalities… The food is ok. I had the Chicken Teriyaki combo and the sauce was tangy and thin. The chicken was pretty flavorless. The california roll was fine though… for the price i couldn’t want more, but i’m also willing to pay more to get more usually. So I’ll go back and try out some more sushi, but the teriyaki is pretty low fare. nothing wrong with it, but i’d eat something else instead. I’ll let you know how the sushi goes

I was tempted to go here when it first opened but held off just because it had typical sushi prices. However, they just started some combo special and the prices of those made me cave and get the«Combo 1» which was teriyaki chicken over rice with 6 pieces of california roll for $ 5.97(after tax). The amount of chicken and rice they gave wasn’t terribly large(probably because the price was lowered for the combo, I dunno) and the food was good. I think if I had paid the full price for the california rolls I probably would have been disappointed because, while they were good, they weren’t quite as good as any old sushi restaurant.

I got pretty excited when this place first opened a week ago. This place is take outs only, note the name Sushi Go. The sushi is fresh and it’s fast. They make if fresh when you order it. Their Miso soup is fresh and you can tell it’s not from the instant packages. The only problem I have is that the prices are the menu is not set in stone yet. The menu said one thing and when you go up to the register, the price is different. I would go back when the menu is set in stone. They also have those Asian Drinks here, the Japanese soda with the marble in the middle. It’s pretty cool. The prices for the fancy sushi such as the Rock and Roll and the caterpillar are around 6.50 for about 8 pieces. So it’s about the same as eating out at a restaurant.
