Vegetarian fed cows, freedom chicken… Looks like a healthy burger and then boom, full in oil, buttered was dripping of buns. So much oil in one burger. Will never eat here again and they have no place to wash your hands and no restrooms.

Grabbed a quick bite to eat before heading to the festivities. Very open and spacious with excellent service. It was very quick even during lunch hour. Fairly inexpensive and the doughnuts are just like the pier. The best part is the fresh side of pickles and jalapeños once you pick up your order. A little messy when you bite into your burger with all the fixings but it’s a burger so chow down. Loved the food and the garlic fries are actually better than the ballpark. This is a hot spot so come early to beat the rush.

this is my favorite super duper joint because it’s walking distance and i love the small burger. its so juicy and yummy and of course you have to get the garlic fries with the 3 sauces — its just fun! i come here when i want to commit a sin and eat fast food. not sure if its really fast food though. i think they make everything to order. oh and the pickles — love the pickles!

Good, meaty burgers, good add-ons(come on, who doesn’t love warm egg yolk running down and coating your food?), free pickles, and option to have beer/wine? Whaaat? I just wish I had known about Super Duper Burger sooner… now I need to rethink my fast food burger rankings!

As tourists in San Francisco, we arrived here after heading eastwards, wandering in from Chinatown, on a Wednesday afternoon around 1:00PM. It wasn’t overtly busy, and we were able to grab ourselves a table. Service was decent, the garlic parmesan fries were absolutely delicious(a bit on the saltier side though), and the burger was perfectly juicy. If you’re in the area, this isn’t a bad option for a quick lunch, particularly if you’re in a hurry. For a burger, garlic parmesan fries, and a chocolate shake, our total came to $ 17.30.

Good lunch spot during the week. Arrive before noon to beat the crowds and get a table. Burger, garlic fries and a milkshake. Yes, order them all!

After scrolling on Unilocal for a nearby place to eat, I was excited for Super Duper Burger because I was super duper hungry. The atmosphere was very open and modern, which was refreshing to walk into on a rainy afternoon. I ordered the combo with a mini burger, fries, and a drink. The burger and fries both tasted pretty average for me and the size of the burger was surprisingly small to me even though I ordered, well, a mini burger. After going through a few reviews, I guess ordering extra toppings really makes the burger. You can self-serve some pickles at the condiment bar, which was pretty rad! I don’t go HAM on the whole burger and pickles combo, but it helped out the burger a bit every time I took a bite of a pickle after taking a bite of the burger.

Wow I love this place so much, I’m a little bit ashamed I haven’t written a review. When you go, here’s what to get if you have amazing taste: cheeseburger with aged cheddar and everything on it, extra jalepenos, and a fried egg. For your side, the garlic parmesan fries and all the homemade pickles your heart desires. Just looking at the pictures of the food is making me a little koo-koo. You’re welcome and enjoy.

I love this place!!! The location is super convenient. But the sad thing is, the lines get super duper long ;) I recommend going at 9:30 for the breakfast combo of a cheese and egg sandwich, mini donut, and coffee. I recommend going at either 11:30 or 1:30 for lunch. Getting grilled onions on your burger is also a good direction to go into. Splurge on the sauces. The mayonaise is so good you can dip your fries in it and it’s not even weird.

I nearly gave it one extra star for being open after 5pm. It’s not quite at 5-star level, though. What is it like? Not too bad, one of the better burgers. The meat is cooked well(actually medium well). You can get either ¼ pound for regular-sized stomachs, or ½ pound for big tanks. This is a great choice for cubedwellers. It’s just south of Market, so it’s good for lunch hour, although it’s a longer walk if you work near Montgomery Street. A few places to stand and eat, outside tables are an option. My story: I’m no longer a cubedweller in the Financial District. But we were going to a book signing at the Ferry Building, and I had a hunch that the line would be long(It took us 3HOURS from getting in line to getting Nerdy Nummy Ro Pansino’s pic and signature), so I was looking for some place, ANY place, to get good inexpensive food at night. I knew the pickings would be slim, I didn’t realize how slim they were. Super Duper Burger was one of only six kid-friendly places within four blocks that was open past 5pm. It was only a three-block walk for me and the 8-year-old, the hunny held our place in line. The girl and I both got ¼ pounders with cheese, I included bacon, and we ordered a chicken sandwich with jack cheese for the hunny. I thought it would be Monterey Jack, but it was Pepper Jack; my wife doesn’t handle hot food well. But we ate while waiting in line, we all got all of our food down, and were all pleased with what we had. If we had time to sit down and eat, Super Duper Burger is a clean, well-lighted place for burgers — and it’s open after the offices close down and the parking meters stop working. Friendly staff that’s good with kids. I’m sure there are better burgers in the Financial District; I’ve had better burgers before. I remember one in the food court below Nordstrom that was better, albeit more pricey. But you can certainly do worse. Again, Super Duper is not a 5-star burger, but a solid 4; great eats for such a hokey name.

You got to love super duper for the Consistency. But this I got to try the Spiked Milk Shake. It was pretty tasty. The Milk Shake with Soju mixed in. It came with Garlic fries so that was kind of cool. I do recommend it for a try. This is my first time at this location and we ate outside. The inside didn’t seem as big as the market or the target location. But it has outside seating. There is no bathroom in there so you either go to 1 market. I recommend going across the street to Rincon Center. Get passed the post office and go to the left where the food court is. It seems closer.

I hate grilled chicken sandwiches. And I hate driving up to the city from the south bay for anything. Yet I would drive to Super Duper Burgers in the city for their grilled chicken sandwich any day. Juicy, tasty sandwich with access to an unlimited amount of pickles. Suggested toppings: tomatoes, lettuce, red onions, and jalapenos. The garlic fries are the perfect complement, and if you’re feeling extra gluttonous, I’d recommend tacking on the regular swirl(chocolate + vanilla) milkshake as well. The only thing keeping it from a 5-star review is its exorbitant prices. If only rent control could be applied to sandwich prices.

Friendly staff. Fresh burgers. Perfectly crisp fries with a soft center. We arrived before noon for lunch and it wasn’t that busy, about one or two people were ordering ahead of us with two people working the registers. Tasha greeted each guest with a hello and asked if we had been there before. She said welcome back and proceeded to take our orders. She read my mind and gave me a cup for water after noticing the Starbucks in my hand. The burgers took about 7 minutes. Warm and juicy with a sesame seed bun equivalent to a mix of traditional dough/pretzel consistency. My only complaint is my roasted portobello mushrooms were cold. They weren’t cooked with the burger, probably prepared beforehand. I like their garlic fries, but this time the amount of Parmesan overpowered the garlic. Unlimited pickles. I still haven’t gotten a kids vanilla chocolate dipped cone(kids size is ok for adults too, as noted on their menu board).

Order an garlic fries at non-rush hour(Saturday), wait 15 – 20 mins to get an cold Garlic fires. When start eating… super crispy because it is over fry… and that is third or fourth time i got this problem.

I’m not a big fan of teeny tiny fancypants burgers that leave me craving pizza after a meal. So said, I had yet to visit this Super Duper location despite the close proximity because the line is usually out the door and the burgers seemed a little small to my tastes. I cater to the ½ lb crowd and will go in search of that which will cater to me my large burger patty inclinations! This spot gets jam packed during the lunch hour so be prepared to grab a seat anywhere and as soon as possible. I always ordered the double patty with a side of french fries. The burgers here are greasy, bad for you, heavy, but delicious. What is one suppose to do? Inexpensive, fast, and a good burger for those working along Spear and need a burger to hit the spot of the day. Staff is efficient, service is quick.

Love this place. It’s across the street from my office. The line can get pretty long, so if you are going on a weekday for lunch, I would recommend going before noon or after 1pm. I usually get the mini burger(sometimes with avocado) and a side of fries. Tip!: If you go after 6, you get free fries if you order a beer or wine!

This was my first time at this location, and I have to say that Super Duper produces a consistently good burger. And while the burgers are consistently good, the real highlight for me is the house made sweet and spicy pickles. Super Duper Burger, I am a fan.

In terms of service — Super Duper is really super duper — haha ok I’ll stop. But in all seriousness — fast food burger chains are a dime a dozen — what really stood out here is not the food in particular but the customer service and experience. Usually a line 30+ deep wouldn’t even have me considering it as a lunch option but I decided to check it out and if anything leave if the wait was too long. Once on line, I saw the manager come out with french fry samplers for those waiting in line — wow! you just don’t expect that level of consideration and service at a fast food chain. Further down the line they had a small post sign that gave you an estimated wait time to order at that point — nice touch. They’re pretty efficient as it didn’t turn out to be too bad of a wait even with all the people. Once at the register — they were quick with the order and offered me water while I waited for my to-go order without me even asking. The orders also came out fairly quick — whatever they’re doing works — they got a good system going on. Food wise — the garlic fries($ 3.25) are amazing. The burger is pretty good for the value($ 5.50 small) but mine came out a bit dry. Perhaps it was b/c of the lunch rush. The homemade pickles are ok — I liked that it had a kick to it but I prefer sweeter pickles — this was pretty salty. Overall great experience — highly recommend if you’re looking for a casual lunch/burger joint in FiDi. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well.

Definitely a great bang for you buck kind of burger joint. Prices like In-N-Out but with a fancier ambiance and outdoor seating touch — I’m a fan! I got the Super Duper Burger with cheese, bacon, and topped with everything. The patty was juicy, but lacking in flavor. Thank goodness for ketchup and mustard. Loved the complimentary homemade pickles though! Good size and tasty overall. I prefer In-N-Out over this — they got the onions(both styles), the chiles, and it comes out cheaper. Yet, Super Duper is pretty yummy and worthwhile.
