Not really sure why people like this place so much. The thing I got was a combination of the worst sushi I’ve ever had and the worst burrito I’ve ever had.

The Geisha’s kiss was pretty good. It was a very interesting combination. The salmon one was also quite nice! After trying the sumo crunch, I can only say that it’s alright. It just felt like a really big California roll with a lot of imitation crab meat. However, the worst was the buddha belly. I bought it for my friend because it was their only vegetarian burrito and omg… it was not that great. I think it was eggplant in the middle? We both thought it tasted a bit slimy. I ended up just eating the seaweed and rice it was wrapped in and leaving the rest. My recommendation would be to try Geisha’s kiss. If you’re vegetarian, you might want to opt out on Sushirito and try another place.

I was visiting San Francisco last month and saw this place was near my hotel and just had to try it. Burritos plus Sushi… what?! I love both, so why not combine them. LOCATION/PARKING: Located in the Soma district in downtown SF. I was working and staying nearby, so I didn’t drive, but it looks like there was street parking. Not sure where any lots of parking garages are nearby. CUSTOMERSERVICE: Friendly and fast! FOOD: The concept of a sushi burrito is very unique! I’ve never seen it before, so I really wanted to try it! I ordered the Salmon Samba: Oven-Baked Agave-Soy Salmon, Tempura Asparagus, Namasu Cucumber, Green Leaf Lettuce, Ginger Guac, Pepitas, and Wasabi Dust. It was very delicious! The portions are big, so I was definitely full once I finished it. yes I finished it all haha. If I lived closer, I would go back! So, next time I’m in SF I will try to make my way back!

I love the concept of Sushi+ Burrito! I have heard so many good things about this place from friends& vloggers and finally got to try it during my short visit in SF. Sushirrito did not disappoint me! My group wanted to order Satori but they were out. So we got Geisha’s Kiss and Sumo Crunch! The Burrito is wrapped with a piece of seaweed with a thin layer of rice. Geisha’s Kiss was my favorite! The yellowfin tuna was extremely fresh and tasty! The Lotus Chips also added the crunchy texture to the Burrito! Loved it!!! Sumo Crunch was not really my cup of tea. It came with a lot of imitation crab and I got tired of it after a few bites. Overall, great snacks and very filling! I will be back again next time I’m in SF.

I have heard about this place since forever but then I have never heard anyone saying any exceptionally great things about it. The concept sounds great, a burrito made out of sushi?! It for sure sounded like heaven for any sushi lovers out there(aka me!) Finally got to try it, wait wasn’t too bad during lunch rush because they expect you to buy and go. I got Geisha Kiss because I read the reviews, I mean it was good. It wasn’t like«OMGTHISISSOGOODTHAT I WANTTOKEEPCOMINGBACK.» I honestly thought it sounded better than it tasted and it was kinda expensive for the quality. Just don’t have high hopes for this to be like a brilliant sushi joint.

After seeing a bunch of posts of sushirritos on social media, I told myself I need to check this out when I go to San Fransisco. I got the geisha’s kiss(like alot of people recommended). And it was delicious! Just the idea of a sushi burrito is awesome and unique. I would recommend at least trying this place out once just because of the concept!

Very cool and unique idea. I wasn’t expecting greatness, but it met my standards. I ordered the Geisha Kiss for $ 12 which has tuna and all the other ingredients(egg, guac, cucumber, crunchy things). If you are expecting it to taste like a big sushi roll, it actually doesn’t. It’s more of an Americanized sushi roll. I went for lunch around 12:30pm. I was expecting it to be crowded, but there was actually only one person in line. By the time I ordered, I went in the paying line and my roll was ready. Very quick service the day I went. It also doesn’t look like it will fill you up, but I was actually full. I wasn’t overstuffed and feeling like taking a nap at work, but a perfect portion.

After over a year I got to come back to sushirrito and enjoy one. Delicious! Still as good as I recall. Luckily there was no queue but when it comes to lunch time, be prepared to wait quite a while to get your order in. I had the salmon samba, bit of salmon, and tempura all rolled up in seaweed. It was very good. Tasty salmon with a great crunch from the tempura to complement it. It’s to go only and pretty small inside so definitely a lunch only type place. My only qualm that still hasn’t changed with sushirrito is that the portion is just not enough for me. 1 and ½ would be right for me but one is too little. I’m always torn between ordering 2 and having too much food or 1 and having a bit too little. Obviously this is a personal issue as there in enormous variability in what different people deem adequate per meal.

I always recommend sushirrito to friends who visit SF just so they can experience the joy of eating an entire sushi burrito. The novelty however wears off pretty fast — I always found the the burritos to be slightly bland. It felt like the entire burrito just consisted of krab meat since it took up ~40% of all the ingredients. The place is pretty good for to-go style food but it can be difficult coming here with a group of friends and having to eat our burritos while standing outside. It’s great for a quick, unique bite.

In the mood for sushi or burrito but can’t decide? SUSHIRITTO! The hype is real. 2nd time here, and I enjoyed it more today that when I went a few years ago. Sushiritto is a small shop located on New Montgomery in the FiDi. So, if you walk too fast, you might just miss it. If you passed the gym, you’ve missed it. The lines can get a bit crazy during lunch time as it’s located near a lot of offices downtown. Food: Most of the rolls contained cooked fish or meat. There’s only 2 that contain raw fish: Geisha’s Kiss and Santori. We ordered both to share, and I liked the Santori more for its sweet flavor. I also didn’t like that the Geisha’s Kiss came with lettuce, but that’s just a personal preference. Get the lava nachos! So good! Spicy tuna over tortilla chips, topped with seaweed and sriracha aioli. They’re usually limited, and once they’re out, they don’t make anymore for the day. Tip: Since there’s no seating, I usually walk to to Yerba Buena gardens and enjoy my lunch there.

I LOVEEE Sushirrito, but this location’s service seriously sucked so much. Our Salmon Samba tasted so great, but the service killed our mood. Also, they forgot our Lava Nachos. Definitely visiting the one on Kearny next time I’m coming up to SF. Overall, sushirrito still makes up the best sushi burrito ever.

I had the Sumo Crunch($ 10.95) and found it to be very bland. The Sriracha aioli in it tasted like mayo, more than anything else. As a result, the entire sushirrito tasted like mayo… The shrimp tempura inside was pretty good — crunchy, but very bready. The crab didn’t have much flavor at all either. Bland, bland, blech. There is no seating inside the restaurant(or really any fast food-type restaurants downtown). There is usually a line out the door during lunch, but don’t fret — it goes by pretty quickly! But, then again, why would you stand in line to pay $ 10+ for rice and mayo…

Ahhhh… okay. So I get Sushirrito is like, a really, really popular thing. I liked it. I didn’t love it. Kudos to them for having a good hook, and my roll was just fine, but for me it’s a one and done kind of place. Glad I tried it, but not really mourning not having one at home. Since I don’t do fish(and yes, feel free to let that inform how big you make the grain of salt you take with my review) I chose the Mayan dragon — chicken katsu, pickled cabbage, carrots, jalapenos, purple potatoes, and ginger guac with a curry mole sauce. The presentation was gorgeous, and just like sushi, it’s going to fill you up before you finish. Things that just didn’t do it for me: — It’s difficult to eat. Seaweed is tough, and I had a really hard time sawing through the nori wrapper with my front teeth. I switched over to using a fork to dig out the insides, but the rice was fused to the seaweed so I mostly was just picking out chunks. — The chicken katsu was really chewy. I’ve never had katsu, so maybe that’s how it’s meant to be, but I didn’t enjoy it. Paired with the nearly impenetrable nori, it took me forever to eat. Coupled with the long line to get it, it’s not a quick meal. — While we were waiting in line, my friend tried to take a photo and one of the counter staff snapped at her for doing so. It’s one thing to politely let her know the policy(which wasn’t posted anywhere that we could see), but the sassy attitude was totally unnecessary. If you dig sushi, it’s worth a stop, but Sushirrito missed the mark for me personally.

All is fair in love and … sushi burrito’s! Yes, even I can admit when I’m wrong and following my second experience with this spot they 100% deserved to have their review updated. My previous experience may have been unpleasant due to an off day, so I’ll say it here and now that if service, and convenience are present and the food doesn’t make you ill, give a restaurant another shot — everyone has a bad day. My experience last week with the Geisha’s Kiss was essentially as good as being entertained by an actual Geisha! I smiled, laughed, I may have even cried a little(I think a single tear may have traveled down my cheek at some point from taste bud joy). It was perfect in every way. The rice was a little moist and not bone dry and sticky like my previous visit, the fillings inside were delightful, fresh and delicious, and the tuna was plentiful — amazing bang for my buck! Food aside the real all stars here were the staff. I was treating a large group of 10(plus me) to lunch and we had a long confusing order(I really should have called ahead). We based our order on the menu that was on Unilocal but some items had since changed at the store level. I went ot order and found out the 5⁄10 orders needed to be changed, and with a crazed hungry line up of other patrons behind me the situation got stressful really quick. The staff were awesome and patient, told me to gather my order, take my time and come back to the front and they would help me. Phew! I placed my order once corrections were made and the team here kicked it into 6th gear and banged out 6 sushirittos faster than a master Japanese Itamae( ). Thanks for changing my mind and showing me how awesome you guys are, and thanks for helping me navigate a potentially sticky(rice) situation! Eatcrest OUT!

Work day today, so didn’t bother driving and then be stressed about parking. Took the BART to Montgomery and the store is just around the corner! At 11:30AM for lunch, it literally took me 10 mins to get from the station to the store and back to the station. Super short walk and quick service! Right hand line to order and left hand line to pay. So. Quick. Geisha’s Kiss($ 12 yellowfin tuna, tamago, piquillo peppers, yuzu tobiko, lotus chips, cucumber, avocado, green onions, sesame seeds sauce) — SUPER good and one of their most popular choices. Porkivore($ 9.50 oven roasted pork belly, melted swiss cheese, shaved cabbage, avocado, cilantro, green onions, red radish sauce: mustard seed mayo) — really soft but crunchy at the same time. Definitely another good choice. Mayan Dragon($ 9 crispy chicken katsu, purple peruvian potatoes, julienne carrots, pickled red cabbage, avocado, shaved jalapenos, green onions sauce) — didn’t try this one but if you like the Japanese curry flavor, you’ll like this one!

I’ve been eyeing this place ever since I began working in the city a few months ago. I’m a sucker for sushi and I’m a sucker for burritos, so this place seemed like a match made in heaven! Due to the location, this is a busy place during weekday lunch times. Noon-1pm always seem the busiest here, so try to go before of after this hour! You literally get a giant sushi roll cut in half at this place. I ordered the Geisha’s Kiss because I wanted a roll with raw fish. They have plenty of options for those who want tempura, are craving a California roll, like sashimi ect. They also sell nachos and salads here which I have heard are incredible as well! All of the ingredients were fresh and the service is friendly and enjoyable. I didn’t feel like I was rushed even though there were a billion people behind me. I definitely want to go here again and try their Sumo Crunch and nachos. However, I do prefer eating my sushi in bite-sized pieces. But this is a must-try and I applaud them for their creativity.

Sushiritto! I’ve been dying to go here! Even though I have technically made sushi burritos myself in the past… but that was not because I was being innovative, it was because my lazy ass didn’t want to slice the roll. But Sushiritto’s creations are thoughtful and unique. Here’s what’s in Geisha’s Kiss(though you are probably reading this description for the 500th time): Yellowfin Tuna(Hand-Line Caught), Tamago, Piquillo Peppers, Lotus Chips, Namasu Cucumber, Green Leaf Lettuce, Ginger Guac, Yuzu Tobiko, Sesame White Soya. So yeah, not just guac, but GINGER guac. Not just cucumber, NAMASU cucumber. All of these great elevated ingredients were so appreciated, even if I admittedly didn’t know what DAFUQ some of the descriptions meant. Oh my god and those lava nachos — spicy, yet savory, sweet, and nutty. For $ 12, the sushiritto serving is generous. I have paid way more than that for a puny roll with half the ingredients! This guy was packed with flavor and had GIRTH *fans self*.

DELICIOUS! Way better than the sushi burrito I had in southern California. I was slightly disappointed that they didn’t have any option with salmon sashimi, but instead they have oven-baked salmon. I took my boyfriend here during a Monday noon and the line was right out the door, surprisingly not wrapping around the building yet. The only downside to sushiritto was a lack of enough tables and chairs to enjoy their food so we ended up just eating it while exploring the city! Geisha’s Kiss($ 12)– I would definitely recommend this one! They’re pretty generous with their tuna portions, but not as much with avocado. I absolutely love how they added lotus chips to the burrito, giving it extra crunchiness. YUM!

DELICIOUS! AMAZING! HARDTIMETOVISIT! ONLYOPEN4HOURS?! because their schedule is based upon people who work there in DTSF. You cant go there at like 6pm and expect to get a sushirrito. WE got: 1.) Sumo Crunch —(love the orange eggs around) 2.) Geisha’s Kiss —(the raw fish was delish) 3.) Lava Nachos —(the spicy kick was just right) All of them were good. SUMOCRUNCH was my favorite, then the Geisha’s Kiss, then the Lava Nachos. Theres always a long line so be prepared. Starbucks is around the corner so we had someone wait while I went for a starbucks run since Sushirrito doesn’t really have specialty drinks. Anyways, Must go! and plus, my snapchat video when I visited here was chosen to be part of the official SF snap page. lol

Sushirrito, comprenez sushi + burrito. Ce dernier me déstabilise légèrement.

Goups.

Me comería otro ahora mismo.

And this will fill you up comme on dit. Like, Oh My God.
