Jiggly balls had this rancid sour taste to it that made me feel like throwing up. Worst tasting boba balls ever. I ordered the chocolate banana with balls and the only thing good about this drink was that they used fresh bananas to make it. Otherwise, it was a terrible waste of my money buying this drink.

Anticipated a great experience here. I’ve been meaning to go here for months. On one of my recent trips to San Francisco I dragged my daughter away from the book store across the street. Upon arriving we came to face a confusing board of items to order from. There we stood looking over the board while the clerk decided to continue his conversation with a costumer for another ten minutes. Yes, she had already ordered. As we wanted I watched three more set of patrons come in and decided to leave. My daughter decided on one of their special flavor so there I waited. Finally the lady received her order and off she went. The reluctant clerk took our order and past it on to the girls that were making the drink. He rushed after the lady that just left. While we waited two more people came in and left seeing no one to take their order. When my order came and I took a sip of it my daughter started laughing at the face I pulled. Disgustingly sour Strawberry drink. My daughter had boba added to hers. I couldn’t even chew them. Again my daughter was set in fits laughing at me. None of the three drinks I ordered were any good.

This place really sucks and even one star for them is too high of rating. As long as they don’t remove that grand opening sign with $ 1.99 discount words then I would believe its intentionally cheating on customers. I’ll definitely want to report this to the Better Business Bureau.

Okay, I am super confused now. Why is there a grand opening sign on the storefront when this place seems to have been open for at least a year now from the looks of all these review. The other thing that confused me is why the gigantic sign hanging over the door outside says ALL DRINKS are $ 1.99 until 6−15−12 and I was told this was not the case when I was there on Mother’s Day. Since I was with my mother, I didn’t make a stink because I didn’t want to upset her. If I was by myself, I would have demanded the promo price or gone across the street to the new boba tea place. Instead, I sucked it up and I paid the $ 4 for my drink. It’s pretty crappy to have a huge banner out front to get customers in the door with false advertising. (See my picture.)
The pineapple juice with boba and lychee gelee I had was thicker than I expected. The juice was made from putting frozen pineapple in a blender so I get kept getting the stringy pulp in my mouth. Since there was only one person making all the drinks, it also it took awhile to get mine. And my sister’s drink was ready but just left on the counter until I asked the cashier to hand it over after waiting a few minutes for it. Moreover, the same woman was handling money at the cash register and ladling the boba into our drinks. That seems like unsanitary food handling to me. Do you know how many germs can be found on money?
And I am also turned off by the fact that they couldn’t even make the effort to hide all the previous frozen yogurt furnishings. Obviously, I am never going back.

Drink: Pretty decent boba for a good price. I ordered the blended mocha. The boba had a good texture and taste and the coffee was good. Considering it was blended AND the price included boba for less than $ 4, I was pretty impressed and pleasantly surprised (drink was $ 3.75.
Service: No complaints. Always nice when they’re willing to answer questions.
Ambiance: Has a good amount of seating. Lots of tables for two. Clean and colorful.

this is probably the worst bubble tea I had ever had. the taste is absolutely disgusting. I ordered peach black tea with boba. It was super sweet and it didn’t even taste like tea or peach. will never go back to this shitty place.

The drinks are no longer much cheaper than their Wonderful Foods counterpart and the taste/​quality is not the same. With all the other competition these days, I’m disappointed in them. Will no longer be coming he

First off, incredibly misleading sign out front. Having the attention span of a goldfish, I only read the first part which said grand opening all drinks $ 1.99… and then failed to read the second part which said until 6÷15÷12… Hats off to you boba shop-​you have bested me today.
I ordered a large strawberry green tea with boba for $ 4.25. Loved the strawberry bits which were probably part of the syrup, but the green tea had been brewed too long, so the drink overall had an unpleasant bitterness. The tapioca was also pretty decent-​chewy and sweet.
Overall, because of the sign and the fact that the «tea» in my «strawberry green tea» was not brewed well, ³⁄₅ stars in my book. In a mini china town, you can probably do better.

This place is pretty good. Their milk teas are $ 3.25 and only accepts cash (so please bring a few in the future).
This location is directly next door to Schubert’s Bakery. So it works for them, I would think — at least in my case.
I needed something cool to drink after finding hectic parking around Clement St just to get the birthday cake I ordered. Lo and behold, this new milk tea location oh so conveniently located beside the cake store.
I went in — looks like they just opened — and ordered a coconut milk tea for $ 3.25. At the first taste, it seems like they use real fruit. It really tastes like coconut!
It makes me want to know what the others taste like.

This place is good, depending on what you order. I am not a fan of their teas, but their smoothies are good. Hey use fresh fruit, which is awesome. I always get the avocado, watermelon, strawberry, and honeydew smoothies. The consistency of their boba is nice and chewy. Their popcorn chicken is delicious! The owner is also very nice. The staff have all been friendly. Overall a great, no frills place. We like!

My lychee drink was ok. It quenched my thirst, it satiated my boba drink craving, but it was a bit too chunky on the bottom after I drank all the liquid. The boba taste and consistency was ok. I would get it again though if I was in the area and I really wanted a boba drink.

I usually come here when I’m wandering around clement. The drinks are so refreshing and I’m constantly back for their watermelon juice. I’m always down to try something new because it always ends up good anyway. I liked the strawberry mango smoothie. However, I’m not really a fan of the pearls because they’re softer than I prefer. Going to be still coming here a lot. Friendly service as well, decent prices, and real fruit

Ew. I went there tonight to get an oolong milk tea with boba and it was so gross. I don’t know what happen to this place but the tea tasted water down and the boba was overlooked. The pearls texture seemed like it was melted and soft, not chewy at all. With so many tea options nearby I should have ventured further to ShareTea instead. I couldn’t even finished my drink. What a waste. Very disappointed.

As a new resident of SF, I was told that Richmond had all the authentic Chinese spots. This is probably worse than most of the bubble teas I’ve had in the financial district, soma or mission. The bubbles were too soft and the tea felt like it was made from cheap tea bag and not tea leaves. I will not be going back to this place for bubble tea.

I like this place. So far it’s the only one that makes an almond black milk tea that tastes really good. They aren’t ever too busy which is great. This past weekend, I ordered the wrong thing. I ordered the almond milk without any tea in it. It was a bit too sweet for me. I will return when I am in the area and craving milk tea.

Came here with my brother and friend. When we first walked, we smelled so much sweetness. Its kinda weird that this place still had that self-​serve frozen yogurt so you’ll see some empty topping area by the cashier. You’ll see some toppings but it’ll cost extra if you want to add it unless the drinks already coming the toppings. I thought its weird how they have some buckets of tapioca on the counter by the toppings. I would thought they would put those in the back.
This store had the grand opening sign at the front that said all drinks are $ 1.99 until 6÷15÷15 and when came in today which is 6÷3÷15. Totally misleading about the grand opening discount price of the drinks.
Got the lychee tapioca milk tea for 3.25. It was alright. Nothing special. But i like that its overpowering of the sweetness with good amount of boba though. It does come with some lychee since its a lychee tapioca milk tea.

So I have to admit, my bar standard is Fantasia when it comes to milk tea. This place doesn’t even compare, but then again, not a lot of other places do.
I got the regular milk tea, sesame milk tea for the madre, and popcorn chicken. Milk tea tasted like coffee, while I think they put too much sesame in our other drink. After a few minutes, you could see a layer of sesame just sitting there. Popcorn chicken was pretty good, but felt like it took awhile for them to make. By the end, though, it felt a little like overkill.
I walked by there again today, but wasn’t in the mood for just okay boba. If you’re REALLY craving boba and need a quick fix asap while you’re in the area, this might do the trick. However, it’s not a place worth driving out of the way for.

3.5 Stars is about right on this boba stop! I came here with a major hankering for boba and it was about 35% satiated after having the boba here.
I ordered the almond jelly milk tea with boba! The boba was cheap. only $ 2.99! BUT. the boba was not a good consistency. It was a bit too mushy on the outside. I’m thinking it was just soaking too long.
The milk tea was good, nothing spectacular. not «tea» flavored enough, but not too sweet (which is most common among boba shop offenders). :) The almond jelly was DELISH though, i must say. A lot of places that do almond jelly don’t really make the jelly flavorful enough. The almond jelly here would be worth a 4-​star rating. but everything else just took it down a notch!

I only tried one drink so I can’t compare it to their other drinks. From what I hear this place is owned wonderful foods. I do like wonderful foods and it’s great that there’s another decent boba place on clement!
Honeydew tapioca :3/​5: it didn’t taste extremely special, it tasted pretty similar to vitasoy. Even though it wasn’t special, I still liked it.
Im definitely willing to come back, I want to try their watermelon juice tapioca!

Back when I lived in Pac Heights, this was the closest place for boba cravings. I heard they’re the same owners as WonderfulFoods (one of my fave boba places) and my eyes just sparkled.
They had just opened, and their jasmine milk tea was only $ 1.99! Heyyoooo! But now that it’s been a while since they opened, not sure if that price is still available, but you only saved a few cents anyways. If anything their teas are around $ 3, pretty cheap to me and average price. My friend really likes their avocado smoothie. Their boba has always been a consistent perfect for me. They also serve snacks.
Their service is pretty fast. The only downside is that it’s pretty spacious inside but they only have tables for 2. And they don’t have that many of them either. They’re also set up for frozen yogurt, not sure if that’s up and running yet.
Oh yes, and it’s all street parking in Richmond district and if I remember correctly, it’s cash only.
